Chapter 24

Maddie's POV:

Today Scarlett's taking me to set again with her because 'apparently she can't trust me to not try and sneak out'. We had an argument about that this morning because I obviously didn't agree to that. Rose is at her dad's house this weekend and Colin is at work. 

We got to set 10 minutes late because I took my time with getting ready. I stayed in her trailer whilst she went to film.

 "Maddie I can trust you not to sneak out of here?" She says before leaving.

 "Actually Scarlett I'm not so sure" I say sarcastically. She rolls her eyes and leaves. 

James calls me randomly.

 "Hello"

 "Hi madds" 

 "Are you busy?"

 " Yeah why? "

 "Oh I was going to ask if you wanted to meet up"

 "I'm kinda grounded at the moment"

 "Can you not sneak out?"

 "Nah Scarlett would kill me"

 "Oh I have an idea"

 "which is?"

 " I'll let you know soon. Text me when you get home"

 "Okayy?" 

 "See you later madds" he says before ending the call. What the hell is he up to?

After spending an hour scrolling through Instagram and tiktok. My phone runs out of charge and Scarlett has my charger in her bag. Which she took with her. shit!

I walk out of the trailer and make my way to the big building she told me to go to it I need her. I spot my godfather their and decide to get revenge. I sneaked up behind him and screamed. He jumped and shouted before glaring at me. I was laughing my head off.

 "Oh haha Maddie very funny" he said. I couldn't stop laughing. He sounded so funny when he shouted. Plus it's funny that a 15 year old scared a 42 year old.

He picked me up and carried me to where I assumed everyone was, this time it wasn't such a scare so I happily let it happen. We got to a place called the green room where Florence, Lizzie and Robert was. Chris spun me around.

 "I found maddie" he said proudly. They all looked up at me and laughed since I was still in Chris's arms. He puts me down.

 "Cheers for the lift" I say. Chris bows and sits next to Robert. Lizzie wraps me in a hug. I then sit next to her on the couch.

 "Where have you been hiding?" Robert asks me.

 "Scarlett's trailer. But my phone's ran out of charge and she's got my charger." He nods.

 "Wanna come and watch her?" Lizzie asks me. I nod my head and Florence comes with us.

 "You know Scarlett has a spare charger in her draw next to the bed" Florence says. She laughs at the look on my face.

 "I didn't know that" 

We walk into another building and a room where there's loads of cameras and green screen's. I have been to a set before due to Charlie being an actress but never one with this many green screen's. We got to a set of chairs and Lizzie tells me to sit on the one that says Scarlett. I sit there and watch her and Renner do a scene. 

I realise now why she's so famous. She's such a good actress and you can see the emotion in her eyes. although, I didn't really understand what was going on. I've never watched avengers. I mean I know what it's about and who everyone is, I've just never watched the films. I was too young to watch the first avengers film she was in and after she left I didn't want to watch anything she was in anyway. It was too raw for me.
