I woke up just a few minutes ago, partly forgetting who I saw before I passed out. My sister. My... dead sister. I don't know what to do. The people continue talking in front of me. They must be having a wonderful conversation. Although I have no idea how long I was out so...
"Sadie?" I ask carefully. The brunette version of me turns around. Her eyes narrow at me as she checks me out. "I thought you were dead!"
"No, no." she looks at me like I'm psycho. "You are the one that is suppose to be dead. You, mom and Grey. Why are you here?"
"Wait dad is still alive?" I ask excitedly. I was always closer to him, where as Sadie preferred mom.
"Yeah." She grabs a gun that seems to appear out of nowhere. "Listen demon return to hell or I shoot you!"
"Wait what!! I'm not a... demon! I am real!"
"Of course you would say that!" She yells.
"Yes I would because that is one of the ways to avoid being shot! Especially when I am not a demon!" I yell back. My hands are up in surrender. I really didn't want to be shot.
She looks at me skeptically. I just noticed another thing that separates us. Her eyes look slightly more green than blue. She was also taller than me. I frown at that. Dang it!
She begins to talk, "Fine you have one chance. I suggest not screwing it up!"
"I'm your sister, Sadie! It's Sky!" I yell at her. She just glances me over. I stand up and run over to hug her, ignoring the fact that I could have gotten shot. "In my um... world it's just me and Grey. We are all on our own..."
"Who said that I wasn't on my own?" She rolls her eyes. Wait what?
"What do you mean? I thought you said dad was alive."
"He is alive just mentally unstable." She says like she could care less.
"Do you ever see him?"
"Nope, he's in a mental hospital for killing our cousin Adeline." she just looks down.
"Why don't you ever go see him? He is your fath-" she cuts me off.
"He is no father of mine!" She growls at me.
I'm quiet for a second however I am very persistent and curious, "Will you take me to see him? He is my father too."
She looks at me. For some reason her built up anger seems to deteriorate greatly. I keep my eyes locked on hers. I had faith that she wouldn't shoot me. I was possibly crazy. Very crazy.
The man beside her grabs her arm, pulling her away from me. I don't know what to expect. He leans down to whisper in her ear. I stand there awkwardly. When they are done talking she looks up at me. Here it comes. That guy is gonna shoot me.
"I will take you but then you go home, okay?" Whew! Well that was exciting. I love facing the probability of dying. The whole aspect of it. Note the sarcasm.
"Okay, ya sure." I start to follow her through a door. "Just one small thing."
"How small?"
"Well it's just an itsy-bitsy problem..." I make about centimeter space between my thumb and pointer. She nods waiting for me to continue. I laugh slightly- from nerves. "It's just I don't know how I got here so..."
"You don't know how to return home. Do you?"
"No clue." I respond laughing nervously.
She groans and face palms her forehead. I don't know what to tell her. I am not even sure if I still get to see my dad. Well... her dad. My alternative selfs dad...
