My phone starts to ring I pick it back up and I see Kaeya is calling me, I pick up the phone
"Hey what's up Ka- "

"What are you doing right now " he interrupts me almost immediately he also seemed very eager

"Lying on my bed why is something wrong you okay you sound very stressed"

"I'm fine and anyway do you have  formal clothes like a suit or something"

"I think so let me check but am I going to get an explanation yet " I stand up and walk over to my wardrobe and start looking for anything formal

"I have some formal clothes but when are you going to explain " I was really confused why he was so eager and why he wanted to know if I had formal clothes

"Well I don't want to go alone and Diluc is sick so will you go with me so will you... Please"

I didn't know what to say why would he ask me he has other friends who would probably be better at this kinda thing. We have never hung out outside of school except for on the way too and from school

"Uh why me though and I would need to check with Alice she came back today actually" I pull out some clothes I could wear to this event but I still don't know if I should go

"Oh that's nice and I just wanted to ask you "

"I will call you back  okay bye "

"Okay bye but don't take too long "

I head down stairs I think my best cause of action is to talk to Alice even if she will make me regret asking almost immediately but still she is good at people. I wouldn't be this hesitant if it was just a few hours ago but Alice made me realise I liked him why I have never liked someone before so now I feel funny. I make my way into the kitchen and Alice is there cooking in the kitchen in a kiss the cook apron

"Have you calmed down yet " she snickers as she places down the knife she was cutting some lettuce with. I could still back out and not ask her but it's best I ask

"I need your opinion on something" I sit down at the counter I already feel embarrassed and I haven't even asked her anything yet

"Oh do tell I am all ears " she smiles and leans on the counter top

"Well I um .... I ... You where right I like Kaeya and he was going to this really fancy event for his families winery and he just called me asking me to go with him but I don't know if I should or not but I also don't know why he asked me some of his other friends would be a better choice then me so why me and he was really eager about it as well and how do I act  with him now since I only realised I liked home when you mentioned it and he sent a photo of him in a suit so that kind of helped but do I go d-"

"Breath Albedo breath " she leans down and places her hands on my shoulders, I realised that I just spewed out all my thoughts

"Okay okay let's go one thing at a time first you should go he is cute, nice and he is from money " she stands back up slightly laughing

"And it's young love I can't give you all the answers you need to learn but...
Crepus raised good sons with manners so if you are worried that he is playing with your feelings I doubt that " she smiles and goes back to cutting

"And the last thing act how you want act like you do everyday ask him out or just cut contact that is up to you " she points the knife at me " you and only you will know what you do about these feelings in your heart"

She turns back to her cooking "what are you waiting for go get changed do you even have nice enough clothes for this kinda thing " she places the knife down and takes off her apron "come on call your friend you need to get ready " she walks upstairs and I pull my phone out and call Kaeya

"So you wanna come " he answered the phone immediately and spoke even quicker

"Yeah Alice said yes and yeah I'm going to get ready now, how exactly formal do I have to be dressed" I start to walk up the stairs

"Fairly formal some people would be black tie but most it's business casual, does that help "

"Yep that makes some sense um how long do I have to get ready " I enter my room and Alice seems to have set up an outfit for me to wear

"Well the event starts at half 6 it's 4:35 now so I will pick you up in a little over an hour so that's how long you got "

"Okay thanks so see you in an hour "

"Okay bye blondie " he hangs up the phone and Alice has a happy smirk on her face

"So how formal is this event I'm assuming like business casual this maybe this, definitely not this " she was looking through all my formal clothes

"Wait here I have an idea" she rushes out and come back holding something behind her back with a mischievous grin

"Now before you judge just try it please if you hate it you can take it off but just try it " she pulls her hands out and it's a cream silk blouse

"Isn't that your shirt .... A woman's shirt " I am starting to doubt getting Alice's help with this. She passes me the blouse

" Just try it " she starts pushing me into the bathroom and says it fairly aggressive "you may like it " she says teasingly

She close the door and I stand there for a minute or so before I gave in and changed into the blouse it felt odd but the silk was nice, the blouse didn't have any buttons near the top so it showed off some of my chest that made me feel slightly uncomfortable but I turn around and open the door and Alice squeals excitedly

"You look so good in that shirt I was right " she walks up and adjusts the collar

"I feel uncomfortable in this " I can't pretend I'm not uncomfortable

"Women wear heels there uncomfortable, looking nice and professional takes some sacrifices in comfortability " she smiles and goes back to my clothes and throws me a pair of navy trousers

"Put them on and those brown shoes  to and I will think of something since the outfit is missing something but get changed " she goes back to look at clothes while I enter the bathroom I get changed and I look in the mirror she is dressing me like .. like a woman which makes sense she herself is a woman but she will do a better job then I would. I walk out and Alice does more squeals I think she is so excited since she was expecting a few more years before helping Klee dress up for events so helping me she must be excited

"Look at you, you look so nice your hair is a mess though here let your hair down for once in your life " she starts to take my braids out and starts ruffling my hair

"You need a haircut I understand you want to grow your hair out but you grown it out effectively you need to get it trimmed and you should get it more framed around your face " she continues to mess with my hair before she walks over and grabs my glasses and puts them on me

"Okay okay I get it are you just using this as a chance for you to have fun playing dress up I look stupid " I feel embarrassed and feel kind of stupid like this but Alice looks so happy and proud that I don't want to change

"I think you need a belt "she once again rushes out before coming back with a black belt

"Put that on and I think we are done...
Look at you your so handsome" she steps back and looks at me she looks so happy and proud

"Can I say this I would be so proud of you where my son " she takes a deep breath

"That got kinda emotional how long till Kaeya will come " she goes back to her typical smile and I check my watch it was a quarter past 5

"20 minutes or so why " she grabs my wrist and we head back down stairs and she sits me down in the sitting room

"I am going to talk you through etiquette for this kind of thing okay, first thing no drinking you may be at a wine event but still "

Alice proceeds to tell me all about what to talk about and how to act for the next 20 minutes till there is a knock on the door
