Academic Rivals: Kaeya x Albedo

I found myself walking through the mall with Alice and Klee apparently Kaeya has Alice's phone number so she knows more about his plans for prom then I do. Which really I don't think I would be very helpful but still it does slightly piss me off that I don't have much off a choice in this whole matter, but it is probably for the best. Kaeya told me that Alice was going to help me pick out a suit during lunch and that he wanted to do a cute date where we'd go together but then realised he wanted to be surprised so here I was following Alice around and making sure Klee didn't run off

"Albedo do you know what we are doing?" Klee was skipping as she walked and swinging my arm with her as we followed "I think we are here to shop" she hummed a general okay sound as a response and went back to looking at all the interesting things we passed and eventually Alice turns around "Albedo come on now you very well know why we are here" she reached out and pinched my cheek and shook it slightly "someone needs a suit"

"Who needs a suit?" Klee looked up at us with complete confusion "well your big brother that's who" she leaned down and ruffled Klee's hair "and we are going to help him does that sound fun" she took Klee's hand and Klee quickly let go off mine so I ended up shoving them in my pockets as we approached a nice looking shop "Can he wear a pink one can he can he?" Klee jumped as she spoke and Alice laughed as she broke it to Klee that there was a colour theme which now that I thought about it I didn't quite know what colour suit I would be getting

Venti mentioned the colour them for the prom was white and gold but did we have to follow that, I'm assuming Kaeya has told Alice the colour theme but what would it be. I followed Alice around the shop as she did a quick general walk around she nearly always did this if you went shopping with her as she would say "you need to get a feeling before you actually browse the racks" After she had her walk around she sat Klee down outside the dressing rooms with her phone to keep her occupied as we actually looked at suits

( She is an iPad kid at its finest (well she does seem like a kid who would actually enjoy outside more but still the point stands)  well when Alice is actually around)

"Is there a particular colour I should be looking at " I awkwardly flicked through the racks kind of overwhelmed it's a store filled with to the brim with different suits, the last time I remember wearing one was when I was like 5  "well what colour do you want to wear" she had already chosen a few different pieces and was still looking "I um don't know... The prom theme is gold and white. I assumed you and Kaeya picked one" I awkwardly chuckled

"Well white and gold do suit you but that would just feels to much like a wedding if it was just that" she snickered slightly "I assumed Kaeya would have told you the colour I mean since you two seem so friendly" I glanced over at the options Alice had chosen and I wasn't looking forward to trying them on it would take way two long "Okay I only know Kaeya through his dad okay, if you ever came with me when I visited you would know Klee took a liking to him so we kept in communication he always texts me to wish Klee a happy birthday. Would you have cared about the nit picking off different suit types" I glanced away

"No... I wouldn't" Alice placed her hand on my shoulder "See I was right, while you were busy cleaning your room before you let Kaeya up stairs yesterday I started talking to him" she hummed. I knew I shouldn't have left him downstairs it was only for 5 minutes but still that was long enough for those two too hatch a plan "he told me about his little date plan but he was worried, bless his heart about boring you or taking it to seriously so I offered to do it since I can bore you as much as I want" she laughed as she started walking us back to the dressing room
