Academic Rivals: Kaeya x Albedo

Kaeya had been looking at my sketchbooks for a little over 20 minutes at this point every so often he would look up at me smile and glance at the books behind me. It was pretty obvious he wanted to see them but those ones were filled with figure drawings so he wasn't going to see them unless I was dead. I noticed him fiddling with something in his pocket I would guess it was whatever Klee gave him but I didn't know what it was

"What are you fiddling with " I glanced up at him as I closed the sketchbook I was looking at and he pulled something out of his pocket

" Klee showed me round her room and her jewellery box and she let me borrow some things to prove a point" he opens his hand and it was a small pare of clip on earrings Klee owns, she never wears them since they hurt her ears so she just sticks gems on her ears when she wants to wear earrings

"What does that have too do with me ?" I raised an eyebrow and looked at his hand and back to his face. Kaeya pulled the chair closer to me and leans forward and put the earrings on one of my ears " I'm proving my point I used my own rings earlier and first using my earnings wouldn't be healthy and well the obvious one is you don't have them pierced anyway so child clip ons " he smiled

"Do they hurt ?" He sounded very concerned "they pinch obviously but not sore particularly... But I don't know how plastic clip ons with flowers and unicorns prove your point?"

"Well it takes some imagination but the idea is there okay you going to prom with me is riding on this some I'm going to have to get a bit more creative then just saying it a bunch " he took the clip ons off and left them on my desk " your ears are turning red I understand why Klee doesn't wear them "

"So you aren't as confident as you said you where earlier " I found myself smiling at him " Ah no. I'm confident I'll do it but I'm more paranoid then anything, I do really want to go with you but you are also stubborn so you may just say no even if I convinced you just to prove a point"

Kaeya did have a point but I was more debating on giving in just to go with him but do I really want to swallow my pride just to go to a popularity contest. Alice has also been encouraging me since I went to that wine event with him to actually go but I think it was more she wanted to see me all dressed up. But I did enjoy the thought of dancing with Kaeya and kissing him in a suit since he sent me that photo right after I realised I liked him. There was also the fact I didn't know how far it would go if I said I agreed would I actually need to pierce them or did I just need to agree and not actually go through with it, that was my main concern of just saying it to go with him.

"Maybe but I could also say it just to go with you, you think of that " I stood up and started placing all my sketchbooks back in there particular places before putting the box again " well I thought about it but I shot that idea down since you said you never planned on going "

"Well I might okay " I shrugged my head slightly before turning back to him " what do you want to do now ?" I hadn't really thought this far ahead for our evening

"Well I'm happy just being here blondie so I don't mind what we do but I do want a kiss " he stood up and walked over smiling down at me and leaned forward " can I get that and I'll be happy " I watched him chuckle to himself and I stepped forward and I bridged the gap and our lips met before I stepped away " there now anything else you want to do " I smirked at his antics and rolled my eyes slightly
