Lunch felt like it came to soon even though I had 4 hours to mentally prepare still I wasn't ready, I couldn't even tell you the last time I actually went to the cafeteria what  2 ~ 3 years. It's to loud and crowded I hate it why did I agree to this.

"Hey blondie what's got your head in twist " Kaeya was leaning on my desk the bell had rang I could just back out but I feel bad if I did

"What friends do you want me to meet anyway " I start to pack up my stuff. He doesn't answer for a few seconds which was kind of odd

"You don't know my friends?"

"Well you have mentioned some of them like Childe, Thoma and Ayato but I don't know which ones have lunch today " I stand up up and put my bag on I adjust the strap out off habit since my hair use to get caught on it, it's going to take a while to get use to it

Kaeya stands up soon after " you really don't know the lunch schedules I even know the ones for the times I'm not on lunch "

As we approached the cafeteria I feel weird I don't have any classes around here so it felt slightly weird. Kaeya looks so casual hands in his pocket not a care in the world smiling at the girls as he passes. He claimed he wasn't a flirt but he kind of was at the same time, from what I have heard Childe is a serious flirt and player so if he is basing his standard off that it's understandable why he believes he's not.

"You don't have to if you don't want to, you don't look very excited" he leaned down slightly not to my eye level. I felt flustered in that moment and really I didn't want to go but he wanted me to so I felt like I should at least try

"No I'm fine " as we exit the school building and head to the cafeteria I feel the air against my neck and I feel the shiver down my spine. Kaeya wrapped his arm around my shoulder and it felt nice. We enter the cafeteria it surprisingly wasn't that crowded.

"I asked you to come today since there is a girls basketball match on today so the team and the cheerleaders are gone so it's mostly empty " he smiles at me and I just awkwardly follow him as he picks up his lunch. He always picked up a sub for lunch. I follow behind him and I see some big guy wave him down he looked intimidating but he had a kind off dumb look on his face

"Kaeya how have you been I didn't think we would be seeing you today since you been hanging out with that-"

"Itto this is Albedo, Albedo Itto and that's Thoma, Childe and Ayato " Kaeya interrupts Itto and glares at him immediately it seems like I was a last minute invite and he never actually told his friends which just makes me feel even more awkward then I already was.

Thoma and Ayato smiled at me, Childe didn't pay any attention was talking to some girls and Kaeya looked like he was going to kill Itto but it didn't seem like he did anything wrong.

Kaeya sat down next to Childe and pat the spot next to him and I sat down. It felt weird firstly since all these guys were popular, most people probably didn't realise I even went to this school let alone that I even exist. I like the fact that I blend into the background but hanging out with Kaeya has put me on people's radars and sittting here is not going to help. I wasn't really apart of the conversation I was just there. Kaeya placed his hand on my thigh but before I could think of what to say Thoma spoke up

"We use to have maths together right Albedo " I thought for a second I never paid attention to my classmates he did look like someone who was in the M block a few years back but his hair was much longer now

"I think so " I scratch my neck as I spoke. I felt people staring at me and I felt weird and uncomfortable. I push Kaeya's hand off my thigh and get up

"I am going to the bathroom " I quickly make my way to the bathroom. I was about to enter the one next to the cafeteria but it was really crowded, it's lunch time so of course it's crowded why wouldn't it be. I make my way to the ones near the gym, when I leave the gym building the cold air hit me. It's going to start getting warm soon which will be nice Klee is going to love the warm weather summer is her favourite season no doubt about it. I arrive at the bathrooms and I sit down on the bench near by.

I check my phone I was only there for five minutes oh archons could I not last just slightly longer. I look down at my lap slightly disappointed in myself, Kaeya wanted me to meet them and I barely did but it also felt like Kaeya didn't ask them before hand.

"This seems like a far journey just to pee" Childe walks over and sits down next to me

"I don't know why your here and you don't gotta tell me truth is I don't care I'm just trying to get away from Kaeya, he thinks he has done something wrong or that you figured out what Itto was going to say so~ he was giving a super long and boring lecture" he leaned back against the wall

"Okay Kaeya likes you, like a lot a lot. I listened to him gush about you for ten minutes. You clearly aren't social unlike Kaeya but he is trying so I think you gotta meet him half way "

"I.. " before I could even start to say what I wanted Childe interrupted me

"Ask him to be your boyfriend"

"What are are you always like this " I was completely puzzled we only just started talking to each other and that does not feel like something you should say to someone when you barely know them

"What I mean is, you seem to like him too I don't know how much you do since well I don't know you but it would give you insentive to try be slightly more social. Kaeya only became social in the past few years, he likes being friendly and talking to people so you gotta try" he stands back up and takes a few steps before turning back to me

"Also if he gets a boyfriend girls will stop asking me if he's single or what he likes in a girl " he walks away. I didn't know what to say, I don't know if I should take his advice I barely know the guy but he knows Kaeya really well.

I get up and start walking back towards the cafeteria but as I was walking back Kaeya grabs my wrist and pulls me into a classroom.

"Okay I'm sorry for leav-" Kaeya kissed me

"Just listen to me please " he stands up straight and fixes my collar before he starts to pace back and forth

"Okay I'm sorry what Itto was saying and if you were uncomfortable I wanted you to meet them because I was then going to ask you to hangout with them so you wouldn't suspect anything and I could do something great and ask you to be my boyfriend- " he stops and he has a look of realisation so my assumption is he didn't plan on saying all of that

""I wasn't ment to say that I umm " he scratches his neck and starts to rotate his watch

"Childe just came and told me to ask you the same thing " he looks down at me and then to the door

"I don't know if I should go kill him or thank him " he chuckles before turning back to me
