I walked in the front door and Alice immediately rushed over with a big grin on her face "how did it go~... did you kiss"

"I um wh-what no no we didn't kiss why would you sa-" she hugs me still all excited she closes the door before dragging me to the kitchen and sitting me down she places some pasta in front of me before she sits down across from me

"So~ tell me how did it go, it is only normal for teenagers to talk about their love lives and considering you only have two friends. One is the person you like and the other I just personally don't think you will be talking about this to Sucrose so tell me instead " she smiles at me which she was right I wouldn't talk to Sucrose about this it doesn't seem right to talk to her about it are friendship is more academic based and that's all we ever talked about we just never could talk about personal things

"We didn't do much we just talked to people about wine I just talked about the chemical process it was fun to talk to Kaeya "

She just sits and stares she looks slightly puzzled. She places her hands on the table takes a deep breath "that was all you did "

"What else was I supposed to do?" I was really confused but what else was I supposed to do, I know I haven't always been the most socially aware person in the world but I don't get it

"The kissing thing before was not a joke you really just hung out with him really..." She sounded legitimately confused

"Yes.... Should I have done something else?" She adjusts her curls and straightens her posture

"Did you flirt at all wait no that's a silly question knowing you, you no offense don't know how to flirt I should have thought you how but that doesn't matter right now. Did he flirt with you "

"I don't know he did say I looked nice multiple times" I pause trying to think of what else he said to me
"He said I had I nice smile so use it" I don't know if that was exactly flirting but I know Alice would tell me if it was or not

"Eh maybe but depends on context and tone but maybe but~ he did seem very stunned by how you looked when you opened the door if his jaw wasn't attached to his head I think it would have hit the floor" she laughs at the last comment holding her hand in front of her mouth (a laugh like yae miko does in her animation)

I eat my food as she spoke I forgot how good Alice was at cooking. I hope she cooks more while she is still here before she leaves for another trip.

"I'm going to go to bed " I take my plate and cutlery and put them in the dishwasher before heading up the stairs.

"Goodnight and you know I can't help you out to much you know you need to do this yourself " she calls out . I turn around and see her with a loving smile. I head up the stairs and start to change into some comfy clothes and I start to brush my hair Alice was right I do need to get a haircut soon the ends of my hair where pretty dead. I get  into bed and eventually fall asleep

I wake up to the buzzing off my alarm I hit it probably a bit to hard  but the buzzing stops and I sit up in the bed. I rub my eyes and stumble my way to the bathroom and I start to wash my face I look up in the mirror and I can't remember the last time my eyes didn't have visible bags under them. I brush my hair out and put my braids in before tying them back. I put on a white shirt with a dark blue t-shirt on top, some brown pants and Kaeya's jacket. Kaeya's jacket had become a normal thing for me to wear and I liked to wear but Kaeya always seemed to compliment me when I wore it so I don't know if I wore it more cause I liked it or if he liked, I was typically so sure of my feelings and my opinions but when it came to Kaeya I was always unsure.
