Academic Rivals: Kaeya x Albedo

I found myself laughing at his reaction, the idea of being with Kaeya felt nice and made me feel all fluttery and happy inside but the way it was coming about it felt forced and sudden.

"I think I'm going to kill him but that's for later" Kaeya pauses and steps closer to me

"Friday 7 o'clock casual meet me at the cafe " he placed his hand in his pockets and smiles but before I can say anything else I was interrupted by the bell ringing

"We should get going" I walk towards the door as I spoke but before I could open it Kaeya places his hand on the door to stop me. I turn around to look at him and he places his other hand on my cheek and kisses me.

"I won't see you till after school so I will meet you at the front gate okay " he smiles as he spoke, I was to stunned and couldn't really speak all I could do was nod. He takes his hand off the door and walks out of the room. I found myself standing there for a few minutes before I realised I needed to get to class. I grab my bag and rush over to my art class. I made it just in time and I make it to my seat. I pull out my sketch book and my pencil case.

I spent the hour drawing still life's of a statue the teacher had brought in. I was not to happy with the results the proportions where off but I couldn't tell where it was specifically, I had also went a bit to heavy with the shading but for every good drawing there is a hundred bad ones. I understand the logic but still I can't help but feel disappointed in the results.

I start making my way to the student council room. Jean was in there already, she was the head and she was very good at it but apparently she overworks herself Amber told me since she wanted me to try and get her to take some breaks since we tend to be here at the same time.

"Good afternoon Albedo " she briefly looked up before putting her head back down" You are friendly with Kaeya right "

I scratched the back of my neck before I spoke "yeah you could say that why " I watched Jean place her work down and looking me in the eyes " can you please get him to actually do some of his duties as a student council member I know head master Varka temporarily cancelled all sports competitions so I know he has nothing to do but still that is no reason to flunk on his other duties "

She goes back to what ever she was working on. She has a point I don't rember the last time I have seen him actually do work on behalf of the student council but I don't think it will last for long since in a few weeks the whole student council will all be busy with the senior prom planning. From what I remember Amber and Eula I think took charge in the early preparation I'm pretty sure Noelle has been helping them too but I haven't really thought much about really I don't think I would have attended unless I had to be there as a student council member but now I don't know.

If Kaeya asked me would I go... Should I ask him to go with me, are we even at that point in our relationship can I even really call what we have a relationship. "Yeah I can ask him but I can't guarantee it will work though" I awkwardly smiled before sitting down and opening up the complaints box.

This was probably my least favourite task to ever get most of the response were stupid and it does make me wonder how much power does the rest of the students think we have we can't just get longer lunches or get teachers fired just because they gave you to much homework. There is always about 20 complaints along the lines off "I got detention for insert reasons can I get that removed off my record". All I can do is put the complaints I can't actually do anything about into a box and give it to head master Varka who always looks annoyed when I bring it to him

After an hour I was nearly finished when someone enters the room. "Hey blondie are you finished" before Kaeya could say anything else Jean stood up and approached him

"Where have you been you were supposed to help Noelle hand out the posters for the prom but no one would take them since she isn't even a senior so tomorrow morning you have to stand in the hallways and hand them out to every single senior "

He walks over and wraps his arm around my shoulder " then who is supposed to walk with blondie on the way to school he can't arrive any earlier since he has to be such a good brother and drop Klee off to school, you did set her as an honorary member of the student council so she deserves to be accompanied by two actual members " he smiles, I don't think it is going to work but I try to hold in my laughter it was a stupid idea but the thing with Kaeya is that he could make peak stupidity sound like genius

"That is not my problem Albedo has done this for three and a half years with out you he can go one day " she smiles passive aggressively before grabbing a box and handing it to Kaeya " all of these should be gone okay "

He puts the box under his arm before grabbing my wrist " fine, fine I'll get it done don't you worry your ponytail off okay. I'm taking this guy now and you can't stop me " I could just about manage to grab my bag on the way out and I mouthed sorry to Jean, I should properly apologise tomorrow
