Sabrina's eyes fluttered open as the engine of the bike began to die down. She sat up, pulling away from the man in front of her, unwrapping herself from his body, "Where are we?" She asked quietly
"Highway 97. Roadblock." The man spoke up, inhaling softly as he felt Sabrina pull away. She had clung to him the entire ride and he had grown accustomed to her touch
"What's your name?" Sabrina asked him quietly
"Daryl."
"Thank you, Daryl." Sabrina said quietly, placing a soft kiss on the shoulder of his vest, climbing off the motorcycle. She felt eyes on her and suddenly she was hyper aware of the fact she was wearing a pencil skirt and a button up with her heels. Not exactly apocalyptic attire. She glanced at Shane, who walked over with her duffle bag, "Thanks." Sabrina said warmly, taking the bag
"You can change in the RV." Dale spoke up before Shane could, "Then we can do introductions before we start assigning tasks."
"Thank you." Sabrina said sincerely, slinging the bag over her shoulder as she walked inside the RV. She changed quickly, walking out of the RV. She was wearing black overalls with a gray bandu bra, revealing her toned abdomen. She had her hair pushed from her face with a red bandana. She walked past the entire group, making her way to stand besides Daryl
Daryl felt his cheeks warm up but he opted to ignore the gesture, looking up at the sky as he heard birds chirping
"Introductions! This is Andrea! Lori, Rick, Carl, Sophia, Glenn, T-Dog, Shane, Daryl and Carol!" Dale said kindly, "Tell us about you, Sabrina!"
"I'm Sabrina. Everyone calls me Sanchez, though. I'm an engineer. I love building stuff." She said, "I have a little bit of medical background and whatnot." Sabrina explained
"Building?" Rick asked, "That's extremely valuable nowadays." He said
Sabrina smiled warmly, "anything you guys need, I'm your man. I also love running, if you guys need anything."
"Not me." T-Dog said, "Runnings hell."
"Probably better than being torn to shreds." Shane said
Carl's eyes widened
"Why don't we all go searching the cars?" Sabrina asked, changing the subject
Rick nodded, "Good idea." He said, glancing at Sabrina, scanning her tanned physique
Sabrina sighed softly as she glanced back in the direction of where they came from, her heart feeling heavy as she thought of Dr Jenner. She knew he felt no pain, which made her grateful - but she still carried the heavy burden of wondering what she could have done differently to keep him alive
"You know how to shoot?" Shane asked Sabrina, walking over, handing her a pistol
"Mmhmm." Sabrina smiled, "My dad loved to hunt." She said. She looked up, hearing a scoff come from a blonde female. Sabrina furrowed her eyebrows in confusion as she watched Andrea storm into the RV, slamming the door
"Ignore her. Bitch is crazy." Daryl muttered to Sabrina, taking the pistol from Shane and gently placing it in Sabrina's hand
"Thank you." Sabrina said softly, looking up at Daryl, "You're an archer, huh?" She smiled, turning her attention from Shane. She inhaled sharply when she heard Andrea's droning, nagging voice
"We don't even know her and you give her a gun? She's a stranger, Shane!" Andrea argued
"Yeah. Shits quiet." Daryl mumbled, picking up his crossbow. He glanced over at Andrea and Shane, rolling his eyes in annoyance, "That bitch is loud." He mumbled, referring to Andrea
