Sabrina awoke in the library, lying on a small couch on top of Rick. She pried herself out of his grasp, making her way outside. Sabrina sat on a small bench, looking behind her when she heard soft pitter-patterns of feet, "Ares." Sabrina said, quietly, "Greek God of War." She said, stroking the dogs fur. Sabrina looked up, locking eyes with Shane, "You're not real." She whispered at him, "You're not real." She repeated, watching as Shane inched closer to her
Ares pawed at Sabrina's legs, growling softly
"I'm fine, Ares." Sabrina said, standing up, "You're not real." She said, her voice hushed, not wanting to awake Rick, who was asleep inside. Sabrina watched as Shane inched closer to her, his skin grey and pale, his eyes sullen and his teeth rotten, "Go away, Shane." She said, ignoring Ares growls. Sabrina jumped when an arrow flew past her, landing in the forehead of the walker in front of her
"Are you trying to fuckin' die?" Daryl asked, angrily
"Me? What?" Sabrina asked in confusion
"You're face to face with this fuckin' walker, just talkin' away." Daryl said, sounded frustrated, "No care in the damn world!"
"I'm..." Sabrina said, "I thought..." She stammered, "I thought it was Shane."
"You're losing it, Sanchez. Fuckin' losin' it." Daryl said, "I ain't gonna be following you around like that damn dog, protecting you!" He said
"I didn't ask you to!" Sabrina replied, "I'm sorry. I didn't know."
Rick emerged from the library, "What's all this commotion?"
"Nothin', just go back inside, Rick." Daryl warned, "Nothing that concerns you." He corrected
Rick laughed softly, "You're yelling at my wife. I think that concerns me."
"I'm fine, Rick." Sabrina promised
"You got blood on your cheek." Rick noted, walking over, "What's going on?" He asked again
"Sanchez, go ahead." Daryl said
"Daryl saved me from a walker." Sabrina said, vaguely
"That ain't even half of it." Daryl said
Rick looked at Sabrina curiously
"I thought it was Shane." Sabrina said
"Shane?" Rick asked, "Shane's worm food." He said, "Why're you thinking of Shane?"
"Can we not?" Sabrina asked, "I don't wanna talk about it anymore."
Rick looked over at Daryl, rubbing his face in frustration. He was wearing a pair of baby blue boxers which hung loosely on his hips
Daryl looked at Rick, expecting him to put more of an effort
"She doesn't wanna talk." Rick said, shrugging
"She don't wanna talk but I don't care. I ain't done." Daryl snipped, "Sanchez, we cannot afford to have you out there in fucking la-la land!"
Sabrina sighed as she looked at the sun rise, "What do you want from me, Daryl?"
"Get your fuckin' head on straight!" Daryl yelled
"Hey!" Rick said, stepping forward, "Don't talk to her like that."
"Your gentle-parenting bullshit ain't working." Daryl said to Rick, angrily
"Probably because i'm not her parent!" Rick said
"Enough!" Sabrina shouted, "I have killed... so many people. So many people have died in my arms. Yeah, so what I see my dead ex boyfriend everywhere? It happens!" Sabrina said, "Just... Everyone get ready, we keep moving toward Washington DC. Maybe we'll run into Abraham's group." She said
