Sabrina woke up the next morning, a soft moan escaping her lips as she shifted in bed, pain radiating from her wound.

Rick had been awake already, just lying in bed with Sabrina, appreciating her company. He turned his head to face her, "You okay?" He asked, his voice deeper than normal due to having just woken up

"Sore, is all." Sabrina said quietly, looking over at Rick. She gave him a small smile, admiring his sleepy features

"When's the last time you ate?" Rick questioned her

"I had a few cucumbers before I left with Daryl." Sabrina said

"You need fuel." Rick said, sitting up. He ran his hands through his messy hair, "Let me go fix you something, yeah?"

"Oh, no, that's okay." Sabrina reassured

"I insist." Rick said sincerely, walking out of the room

"Wait!" Sabrina called, "Can you bring me my bag?"

Rick chuckled, "Yes, ma'am." He said, walking to the living room where Sabrina kept her items, tucked away behind the couch. He returned to the room, laying the bag down on the bed, "i'll be back." He said, walking out to the campsite

Sabrina walked into the bathroom, turning on the hot water. She stripped of her clothes before climbing into the shower. Sabrina watched as the water circled the drain, bloodied and dirty. She waited until the water ran clean before she began scrubbing her body until her skin turned red. She climbed out of the water, wrapping her body in a towel. She limped over to the bed, sitting on the edge before she grabbed her hairbrush. Sabrina hissed in pain as she lifted her arm up to brush her hair

"Hey, let me." Rick said quietly, walking inside the room . He shut the door with his boot, holding a tray of food for Sabrina. Rick walked over, setting the tray down. He took the brush from her, quietly sitting behind her. Rick took his time brushing through her hair, admiring the form of delicate intimacy. He watched as small goosebumps appeared on her arms from his touch, and he couldn't help but smile. Rick leaned down, planting a soft kiss on her shoulder blade, tickling her back with his stubble

Sabrina felt a flutter in her stomach at the feeling of his lips on her skin. She stayed quiet, chewing on the side of her cheek as she felt another kiss on the nape of her neck.

Rick grabbed Sabrina by the hip, pulling himself closer to her as his other hand found its way to the base of her scalp, tugging on her hair slightly to give him better access to her neck. He planted soft kisses on her shoulder, trailing up her neck to beneath her ear. Rick snaked his hand up the front of her body, making his way up to her breast. The feeling of the towel beneath his hand sent shivers up his spine as he squeezed her breast softly

"Dad?" Carl called, walking down the hallway

Rick sighed as he stood up, "I'm sorry." He said

Sabrina was in a daze, processing the events that almost unraveled before her. She felt warm, her cheeks rosy, obviously flustered by Rick's movements, "It's okay. At least he's up and about." She offered
