Sabrina was trekking through the snow, her cheeks and nose rosy from the pressure of the cold wind. The earth crunched under her boots as she searched the earth for the foot prints of the doe she had been following.

She paused hearing a twig snap. She pulled out her bow, pulling back the string, scanning the earth as she let out a shaky deep breath. Sabrina held her breath as she waited until she saw the tip of the nose of the doe.
She released, the arrow landing directly in the eye.

Sabrina laughed in relief, grabbing the rope from her bag and jogging down to grab the doe.
She tied the rope around the animals' midsection and the other around her waist - like a belt.

Very quietly, Sabrina dragged the animal back to the hardware store where they had made a temporary camp. After walking for about three miles, she stood in front of the abandoned place of business.

Eagerly, Carl opened the door, "Sabrina!" He said, his eyes darting between the doe and her face, "You did it!" He said

Sabrina admired the young boys full face, smiling tiredly. The entire group had sacrificed a lot of their rations to Carl, so the young boy wouldn't go hungry, "I did it." She smiled warmly, dragging the doe inside

"I can take it from here." Daryl said, "Good work, Sanchez." He said, helping Sabrina undo the rope from around her waist

"Thanks." Sabrina smiled, letting Daryl undo the knot. Quietly, she knocked her boots on the ground to clear snow before she walked through the shop. She made her way to the nook where her and Shane stayed.

Shane perked up, "Hey." He said, standing up quickly. He walked over, meeting Sabrina halfway, "Look at you." He said, helping Sabrina take off her jacket, "How was it?" He asked, sliding off Sabrina's beanie for her

"Good. I brought back a deer." Sabrina said, sliding off her gloves, revealing her red fingers, "I think the snow is slowing down the walkers, but we need to keep moving soon." Sabrina said quietly

"We just got comfortable. I think this place is okay for a while." Shane said, stroking Sabrina's hair

"I hope so. I don't like being in the middle of town." Sabrina admitted, scratching her arm

"We'll be okay." Shane said, kissing her temple softly, "Let's get you some warm clothes." He said, reaching into his bag and grabbing a t shirt for her

"Thanks." Sabrina said, sliding off her hoodie and long sleeve. She smiled as Shane knelt down, unlacing her boots for her, "Thank you." She said, quietly, holding the t shirt in her hands. A shaky laugh escaped her lips as Shane began kissing up her stomach, "Come on." She said, grabbing his bicep. She pulled Shane to eye level, smiling as she kissed him passionately, her hands cupping his cheek

Shane wrapped his strong arms around her body, engulfing her in his warmth. His hands rest on her butt, holding her close. After a moment, he pulls their lips apart, "Let's leave." He whispered

"Nobody's around, just do it quietly." Sabrina said, assuming Shane was talking about sex

"Ain't nothin' quiet about what we do." Shane chuckled, "I meant let's leave." He said, quietly, "You and I on the road." He added, stroking her hair back, "This group is weak."

"Shane, we can't leave. This is our family."Sabrina said

"You are my family." Shane said, "You're my woman. I have to protect you. I can't protect you if I'm busy protecting a kid and an old man."

Sabrina felt heat rise to her cheeks from his possessive manner, "Shane, we've been fine so far." She said

"Darlin', just think about it." Shane pleaded
