Beth stood in the infirmary, blood soaking her clothes as she held a scalpel in her hands, trembling lightly
"B-Beth.." Sabrina said, putting her hands up in surrender, "Put the blade down." She said, calmly
"I didn't mean to do it." Beth stammered, "I mean, I did but.. I didn't want to!" She shouted
Sabrina looked down at the man on the ground, who was bleeding out of his neck, "Holy fuck." She said, rubbing her face, "Put the scalpel down. T-Tell me what happened."
"He touched me. H-He told me I needed to be more grateful for him saving me." Beth said, gripping the scalpel, "Sabrina, there's cameras everywhere!"
"Shut up." Sabrina whispered, "You're shouting." She said, calmly, inching her way toward Beth, "Give me this." She said, taking the blade from her hand, "Okay. Now go. Go."
"What? Go where?" Beth asked her
"Anywhere. I will handle this." Sabrina said
"You can hardly walk, Sabrina!" Beth weeped
"You know the plan, Beth. It's just gonna have to start sooner than later." Sabrina said, placing the blade on the counter
"I-I'll grab our bags." Beth said, "Meet me in 10?"
Sabrina nodded, watching as Beth rushed out the room, "Holy, fuck." She sighed, grabbing the man by under his armpits, a gasp escaping her lips as she felt the stitches on her hip begin to loosen. A groan escaped Sabrina's lips as she dragged his body, stuffing him in a small closet, leaving the door cracked.
Sabrina knew that he would turn soon, which would buy her enough time to escape with Beth.Hopefully.
Sabrina held onto the wall, limping the room toward the hallway
"Sanchez!"
Sabrina paused, suddenly aware of her blood stained hands. She folded her arms over her chest, looking over at Dawn, "What?"
"Where you headed?" Dawn asked her
"My room. I think I popped a stitch." Sabrina said
"Yeah. Your hip is bleeding." Dawn said, "Come to my office, I'll stitch you up." She said
"I'm ok. I wanna shower off first." Sabrina said, glancing over Dawns shoulder as the door to the infirmary opened
"Okay. Come find me afterward, I wanna start assigning you tasks." Dawn said
"Sure. Sounds good." Sabrina said, placing her hand on the wall, leaving a bloody handprint. She felt her vision become blurry from over exertion, due to dragging the body into the closet
"Sanchez, your hand... what the fuck?" Dawn questioned, "You popped a stitch in your hand too? What were you doing?"
"I'm fine. I'm fine." Sabrina said, watching as the walker emerged from the infirmary
"No, get your ass to the medic. He needs to stitch you up." Dawn insisted
Sabrina exhaled deeply, pushing Dawn backward, into the arms of the walker before limping down the hallway
"Come on! Come on!" Beth shouted to Sabrina, holding both their backpacks
Sabrina opened the hatchet on the wall for the laundry chute, "Go." She urged
"You'll be right after me, right?" Beth questioned
"Yes! Go." Sabrina said, glancing over her shoulder at the commotion - screaming, and walkers, "Fuck, that happened faster than I thought."
