"Would you stop leaving the god damn bed in the middle of the night?"

Sabrina looked at the stairwell, a carton of apple juice pressed to her lips as she stood in front of the fridge wearing nothing but a bra and Daryl's boxers, "We've been in that bed for a week straight! I'm getting bed sores!"

"Not sure how. We're never in the same position for too long." Daryl said, walking down the stairs. He took the carton from Sabrina, taking a sip, a pair of sweatpants hanging loosely from his hips

Sabrina laughed as she tucked her hair behind her ear, "That's true, I suppose." She said, exhaling softly as she glanced around the house

Daryl glanced at the door when he heard Ares bark before there was a firm knock, "Who's knocking at this hour?" He muttered, walking over to the front door

"Hey." Rick said, exhaling deeply, "Is Sanchez here?" He asked

"Nice costume." Daryl said, noting Rick's police attire, "Come inside."

Rick stepped inside, looking at Sabrina, "Good morning."

"Hey, you. Long time no see." Sabrina said, delicately

"I was hoping we could talk.. in private?" Rick asked, hopefully

"Sure." Sabrina said, walking over. She scratched Daryl's stomach, "Go back to bed. I'll be there in a minute." She promised

Daryl nodded, kissing Sabrina's temple before he walked toward the stairwell, lingering for a moment

"I feel like I owe you an apology." Rick said, "And an explanation."

"No need." Sabrina said, "I get it, Rick. I've left before. You just left in a different way." She smiled, her heart breaking all over again as she remembered Rick kissing Jessie's cheek, "Although... you do have a bad habit of kissing other women while you're in a relationship." She recalled

Rick inhaled sharply, "Sanchez...."

"It's fine, Rick." Sabrina reassured, "I'm okay. We're okay. No hard feelings. The door is always open for you - for when you decide you're ready to come home."

Rick relaxed a little, "I love you. I do. But I just gotta.. Gotta figure a few things out."

"Like what?" Sabrina asked

"Jessie is getting abused. I wanna help." Rick said

"Because you like her." Sabrina said

"That's neither here nor there." Rick said

"If it was anyone else - would you care this much?" Sabrina asked

"No." Rick said

"That's all I needed to know." Sabrina said, "Its okay, Rick." She promised, again

"How's Daryl treating you?" Rick asked

"Good. Good." Sabrina promised, "He's good." She said, "I do miss you, though." She admitted

"I know." Rick agreed quietly, stepping forward. He placed a soft kiss on Sabrina's lips, "I wish I could say this is the only reason I came down here at this hour."

"What's up?" Sabrina asked, not returning the kiss

"They wanna go on a run. Glenn asked if you'd be willing to tag along." Rick said, furrowing his eyebrows when he noted Sabrina didn't return the kiss
