Dex was going to propose.

He'd been thinking about it for ages.

Now was the moment.

"Want to go for a walk?" He asked Biana, remembering Keefe's advice.

"Sure," Biana said. But she obviously couldn't hide her confusion. Dex knew it was random, but it was necessary. He just wanted to get this over with. He was also anxious to know her answer, whatever it was.

He led her to this spot just outside Everglen Fitz had shown him. It was a gorgeous area. It had made Dex think of Biana immediately.

Fitz knew Dex wanted to propose, so did Keefe. And they kept trying to encourage him to do it. To propose. But... there was never really a good time. But now... they were standing in the clearing, staring at each other and their surroundings.

"I never knew this place was here," Biana said softly, gazing at the rows and rows of flowers. She met Dex's gaze. "How do you know more about my house than I do?" she asked.

Dex laughed, then shrugged. "Fitz showed me,"

Biana raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

Dex sighed, running a hand down his face. He stepped closer to her, shoved a hand in the pocket he knew the ring was in.

It slipped into his hand, the small box. Somehow, the feel of the soft velvet against his fingers, gave him the courage he'd needed for a long long time. He released another breath.

"Listen," he said.

"I- I... I've thought about this for a long time. Honestly, I have no idea how long. It's been... ages. But... I really, really, truly love you, Bi. More than anything. You're one of the most gorgeous, most amazing people I know. I just... I really... You're so so so... perfect. I want to be with you forever. Love you forever. Because I'm so in love with you and I..."

Biana's eyes were sparkling by that point, but there was a completely different kind of sparkle in her teal eyes when he knelt down slowly, carefully, hand still posed on the ring's box.

"Biana, I love you. Will you spend the rest of your life with me? Will you marry me?"

Biana's eyes flooded with tears and her hands flew up to cover her mouth as a small sob escaped her lips. She nodded, hard. Over and over and over.

He stood, a little too fast, and pulled her into his arms, then kissed her.

His heart was so full. His head was exploding. This gorgeous, gorgeous girl had said yes. The girl he'd liked for so long said yes.

He pulled back after a couple seconds, breathing hard but not from the kiss, from excitement. From joy.

He traced her jaw with one finger, she leaned into his hand. Pushing her cheek into his palm. His heart basically collapsed into itself. He kissed her forehead before whispering, "I love you."

"So... am I a Dizznee, or are you a Vacker now?" Biana asked. Dex leaned back, trying to focus on her eyes, not her perfectly glossed lips, which were curled into a perfect smile –– one that made Dex want to kiss every inch of her face.

"I don't know," Dex said. "What do you think?"

Biana smiled beautifully. "I have enough family," She said softly. "I think you could use a few additions."

He held her face with both his hands. "That works," He told her, pulling her closer.

Biana Dizznee, he thought. Sounds perfect.
