it's adorable, it's annoying

Keefe tried and failed multiple times to blow away the strand of hair that had fallen over his eyes.
He groaned.

Sophie laughed. “It’s adorable,” she said, her face lighting up as she studied him.

“It’s annoying,” Keefe countered. “Particularly since I can’t deal with it.” He held up his hands which were covered in flour.

Sophie grinned and leaned up on her toes as she tucked the strand of hair away from his face.

Before she returned to her normal height, she kissed him lightly on the nose.

He gave her the most adorable smile ever.
