'First Day'- Sokeefe Kids Head cannon/A.U

This is an AU and Head cannon!! Kayla is Sophie and Keefe's daughter, she's also an Original Character of mine!! I might write more Skylar later! ;) Happy early thanksgiving (if you celebrate)!! <3

"First day" 

Kayla was shaking. Literally. Her whole body was shaking.

Keefe knelt down Infront of his daughter. "Hey," he whispered, grabbing both her tiny hands with his. "Kay?" he whispered again.

Kayla's gaze was glassy, and she looked like she was holding back tears.

"It's alright to cry," Keefe told her. "There's no shame in it. Your mother could tell you stories on top of stories about how much of a disaster she was on her first day."

"Definitely," Sophie said, striding into the room. Keefe smirked at his daughter, making her giggled a little. A small hiccup of a sob escaped immediately afterward though.

Keefe gripped her hands tighter, staring into her bright ice blue eyes. 

"You'll be fine." he promised again. A tear slipped down Kayla's cheek. Keefe wrapped his arms around her small frame, hugging her tightly but carefully and gently so as not to strangle her.

"I love you," he whispered into her hair. "I'll see you after school."

"Plus, when you get home your prize will be awaiting you; Mallowmelt." Sophie told Kayla with a huge grin.

Kayla laughed. She buried her small face in Keefe's cape.

"Okay," she mumbled after a minute. "I'm ready."

"Are you sure?" Keefe teased, rumpling her hair and tickling her sides. She fought, but laughter took place with a vengeance.

"Okayyy," Kayla finally said, maintaining her laughter enough to push her father's hands away.

Keefe stopped, touching his nose to hers before kissing the crown of her head an uncounted number of times. He released her and let his wife strangle her daughter with a hug.
