"So, what was it you wanted to talk about?" Keefe asked, propping his feet on Magnate Leto's desk and slouching, resting his elbows on the arms of the chair he was sitting on carelessly as he smirked at the seemingly annoyed principal.

"Well," Leto started, giving Keefe the most death-heavy of death glares.

"Is this about Foster?" Keefe couldn't help asking. He was honestly kind of curious what the mysterious Ms. F had been up to, since he hadn't heard from her for a bit.

"No, Sophie has nothing to do with this-"

"I have nothing to do with what?" perfect timing. Foster appeared in the doorway, with her nervous posture and wide gold-flecked brown eyes. Keefe smirked at her.

He could feel a lot of embarrassment and guilt coming off her, now that everyone's attention was on her. Keefe briefly wondered what in the world she could've done to make her feel so guilty. He didn't really care right now, though.

He was just really happy to see her. So, when she glanced at him, and her shoulders relaxed and her eyes softened, Keefe couldn't stop himself. He stood, ran over, and wrapped her in a huge hug. "I haven't seen you in ages," he said, leaning back to study her gorgeous face, but it was twisted in guilt again. She looked like she was in pain.

"Sorry," she murmured. "I've been... busy."

He knew why she felt so guilty now. It was because she'd been too busy to visit him, and he was her boyfriend. But she was his girlfriend, he didn't want her feeling guilty for being busy.

"I know," Keefe whispered, waiting for her to meet his eyes before he told her, "I understand. Don't apologize, Foster." He ran a hand gently down her cheek, tracing the soft curve of her face.

Her eyes fell closed at his touch. And, briefly, he felt her lean her head into his palm.

Oh, his heart looooooved that.

He paused a second, soaking up her warmth. Then, he pulled his hand away and turned to Magnate Leto who was watching them with almost bored piercing blue eyes. "I do not have all day," he said, disgruntled. "So, if you are ready to have this conversation, we should have it now."

"What conversation?" Sophie asked, glancing adorably from Keefe to Leto.
