Audrey's Pov

“Girl, please hurry up! 30 minutes na lang magsisimula na yung shoot.” Ling said on the other line.

“I'm on my way. I'm really sorry!! I forgot to turn on my alarm clock.”

“Kay Kirsten ka magpaliwanag. Please,  takbuhin mo na.”

“Are you for real? Pasakay na ako ng taxi.” I lied when in fact, pababa pa lang ako ng apartment ko.

“Sige na. I'll hang up na.” as she said, Ling hung up on me.

Mabilis akong tumakbo habang bitbit yung mga gamit ko na sobrang sagabal sa pagkilos ko. At kung minamalas ka nga naman talaga!!! Walang taxi na dumaraan sa street namin at need ko pang maglakad para makasakay.

“Audrey lane, umayos ayos ka!!!” sermon ko sa sarili ko habang naglalakad.

“Mukhang maayos ka naman.” out of nowhere, biglaang may nagsalita mula sa likuran ko dahilan para lingunin ko siya. It's Chocol.

“Chocol?”

“Dito ka lang ba nakatira?” she asked me at sinabayan ako sa paglalakad.

“Yes and ikaw? bat nagawi ka rito?”

“Dito lang din yung apartment ko. Alam mo yung black and white na building d'yan?” paliwanag ni Chocol habang tinuturo pa yung way papunta sa apartment niya.

“Parang familiar.”

“Yung katabi nun, ayun na yung apartment ko. Hindi ko naman alam na magkalapit lang tayo.” she said and smiled at me.

“What a coincidence!! Maybe we should try to hangout at your place and mine too.” I suggested and I could see how excited she is.

“Sure!! I'd love that.” pagsang ayon ni Chocol.

Habang naglalakad kami, natatanaw na namin yung mga sasakyan kaya agad kong hinawakan yung kamay ni Chocol at tumakbo dahil parehas na kaming malalate nito! Ayoko namang malate sa 2nd shoot namin at baka maging center of attention pa kaming dalawa ni Chocol.

“Bakit ka nagmamadali?” tanong ni Chocol.

“Gusto mo bang malate? Tinawagan ako ni Ling and she said 30 minutes na lang magsstart na sila.” I explained to her.

“Ang sabi—”

We stopped running when suddenly someone honked and a car stopped in front of us. The window slowly rolled down and the person inside was Bada. She looked at us and opened the door for the two of us. I frowned and didn't move.

“May free ride na tayo.” hinawakan ni Chocol yung kamay ko at pinasok ako sa backseat habang siya naman, nasa harapan.

“Uy Bada, dito lang din ba area mo?” Chocol started the conversation and broke the silence.

“Nope. Hmm napadaan lang ako and accidentally saw you guys. Bakit ba kayo nagmamadali?” tanong ni Bada sabay tingin sa mirror, causing me to look away and avoiding her eyes.

“Si Audrey tanungin mo.” Chocol pointed me out. Oh please sobrang awkward na nga nito and I don't want to make everything uncomfortable lalo na't hindi kami okay ni Bada.

“So why?” Bada repeatedly asked again and this time she's asking me. I took a deep breath and bore my eyes in front.

“Baka kasi malate kaming dalawa ni Chocol kaya—”

“What are you talking about? They adjusted the time so basically we still have an hour.” Bada cut me off.

An hour?! Ling Zhang?!!!!

“See, I told you! Hindi mo kasi ako pinapatapos magsalita eh.” Chocol turned her head on me and smirked.

Hindi na ako nakapagtimpi pa at hinampas si Chocol sa balikat dahilan para matawa siya. Ugh I hate her!!! Grabe 'tong crew members ko, tama ba namang pagtripan ako?!

I immediately dialed Ling's number and she picked it up in a few rings.

“Where are you?”

“I hate you!!! You told me na 30 minutes na lang pero ano 'tong sinasabi ni Chocol?”

“Oh you are with her?”

“Yes, I'm with Chocol. Ling!!! I hate you!”

“Well, at least alam mo na yung pwedeng mangyari once na maulit na malate kang magising.”

“Tsk! We're on our way. Bye!” I hung up on her and rolled my eyes.

When I looked in front, Chocol was already staring at me which made me confused so I raised my eyebrow, waiting for her to speak up.

“But you are also with Bada.” Chocol said and I awkwardly looked in her direction. She's still driving and obviously only listening to us.

Oh I bet she doesn't know our past. Siguro kaya rin niya ako hinatak papasok without any hesitation kasi wala siyang alam sa past namin ni Bada—ay wait, meron ba? Charot. I mean hindi alam ni Chocol na I used to be a member of Bebe. She doesn't know any of this kaya siguro hindi niya ramdam yung awkwardness between Bada and I.

After a moment, we finally arrived at sabay sabay kaming pumasok ng studio and of course, all eyes are on us.

“Thanks sa free ride, Bada.” Chocol thanked her and tapped her shoulder.
Bada only nodded and gave her a smile.

“Thanks.” I shortly said. I immediately went to our room and left them outside.

Once I got inside, wala na yung apat at sakto namang may kumatok sa room namin. I opened the door and guess what? Si Bada ulit.

“What?”

“Baba na tayo.” She calmly said.

“I can go alone.” I firmly said but she only smirked. Oh fuck what is this all about?

“Why are you so childish? Why can't you act like a professional? I mean, you're the one who left us and now look at you, you always make everything uncomfortable at sobrang—” I pushed her out of the room but she's stronger than me. I was the one being pushed inside the room and Bada shut the door behind.

“Get out! Get out!” I said, pushing her body away from me.

“Audrey, just tell me if you are jealous to all achievements of the former crew you left behind. You never thought we would be this popular, right? Why? Is it because in your head, you were the one who carried the crew? After that one viral video of yours, you think you can go alone?” Bada said and still provoking me. I stood in front of her, holding back my tears as she's saying those words to me.

“Naririnig mo ba 'yang sarili mo, Bada?” I asked her.

“Yes.” She firmly said.

I remained quite and didn't say anything because I was too hurt by her accusations. It feels different when those words comes from a person you used to be your partner in everything and part of your life.

“Don't tell me kaya ka sumali sa ibang crew para gumanti saamin dahil naging failed yung outcome ng decisions mo or baka naman gusto mo kaming lamangan? Ginamit mo pa talaga Jam Republic sa kababawan mo, Audrey.” Bada added, still looking into my eyes and as I looked into her eyes, I see nothing—not even her emotions, her eyes are unreadable.

“What?”

“Anyways, see you sa studio since ayaw mo pang bumaba.” Bada said and ignored what I said. She left me inside and when she left, I broke down.

Ang sakit pala lalo na't nanggaling sa taong minahal mo noon. Bawat bigkas ng mga katagang yun, parang sinasaksak ako. I never imagined she would say that to me. Is it all my fault? Is it my fault to choose myself? Is it my fault that I was scared at that time? If she only knew what I truly feel, maybe she would understand me and wouldn't say those things.
