Just Another Girl...(Jai Brooks Fan Fic)

Chapter 4

Me and Jai danced for a while. I swear I am actually dead. It's so amazing.

"So Lara, tell me a bit about yourself" Jai said loudly over the music

"Well what do you want to know about me?" I practically shouted.

"Sorry for asking this, but why is your dad so abusive?" Oh god. I suppose I should've expected this question to be asked I guess.

"Well it started when my mum died when I was about 9 or 10. Then he just lost it and yeah" I couldn't help but flashback through all the memories.

I got cut out of my memories as I felt a pair of plump, soft lips pressed against my forehead. After the lips left my forehead I looked up and saw I was in Jai's arms and saw his gorgeous smile.

Wait, am I in the real world still? I mustn't be. Jai doesn't even know me, hardly. This is all just a dream.

"It's ok Lara, no need to cry" cry? What? I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Oh god. I am crying infront of Jai.

"Sorry, it's just that it brings back bad memories"

"Oh. I'm so sorry for asking. I didn't mean to make you hurt" he pulled me closer to his chest. I heard his heart beating. Even that was cute.

I stood there in Jai's arms for a while. He let go of me and looked down into my eyes.

"Why wear so much makeup? You're so beautiful without it" I couldn't help but blush at his comment.

"I'm not beautiful. I wear makeup to cover up my ugliness and my cuts and bruises"

"Well I think you're beautiful without makeup" he leant down to my ear and whispered "including your cuts and bruises" I started blushing as his breath tickled my ear, sending shivers down my body.

I felt two arms wrap around my waist and felt whoever it was drag me along the ground. I had no idea who it was.

"Hello there sweet heart" I heard the voice say. It sounded a bit familiar. But I was probably just imagining it, I was a little bit drunk.

"Who are you?" I said as I spun around. I looked up at the face and it was Kyle. Wait, Kyle?

"Why aren't you dancing with me? I'm so lonely" Kyle grabbed my hand as he was talking.

"Ummmm, are you ok Kyle?"

"I'm fine babe, why?"

"You're off your face Kyle" he didn't leave a second spare before slamming his lips to mine. His arms wrapped around my waist. He pulled me closer and deepened the kiss. I tried pulling away but he pulled me closer. I heard him mumble my name. He slowly started to walk backwards. I finally broke free from him

"What was that for?" He grabbed my hand while walking backwards still.

"Just come with me and I'll tell you" he turned around while still holding my hand.

We walked through the kitchen and Kyle grabbed a drink

"Do you want one?" I nodded although he already had given me one, so I really had no choice. He grabbed my hand and practically dragged me outside.

On the way out, I saw numerous amounts of people making out and I even saw one couple having sex under the staircase. Awkward right?

I shook it off and I followed Kyle into the backyard. Jai lived on a 2 acre block, so it was a real big backyard. I followed Kyle as he walked to the very back of the yard.

"It's a nice night toni-"

"Look, Lara. I know you're going to find this awkward but" Kyle said cutting me off. He took one last mouthful of his drink and continued "I really like you babe. I honestly do. I know you like that dick head Jai but I really like you" he stepped forward not allowing me to say any thing and got me against the fence and started to kiss me.

"LARA!" I heard someone say. I went to push kyle off me, but he slammed me against the fence. Ow. I tried to push him again but he refused to move.

"LARA!!" I heard the voice again. But this time it was closer. It sounded like Jai. I pulled back from Kyle's kiss. Just. And said

"Kyle, can you please not. You're completely off your face"

"But I love you Lara" I saw a hand grab Kyle's shoulder and pull him off me.

"Look Kyle! Don't touch her again!" I heard the person yell. My vision started to go blurry. What was happening? My eyes started to slowly close and soon I hit the ground and everything went black.
