We checked into the hotel, Ermita, and it was Tyler who recommended it. Maganda daw dito eh. But I hope the cockroach he said wasn't true.

I smirked at myself and took my phone out to brag about it to Tyler while Rade was busy on the telephone, ordering food.

Magpasipsip ka gago. Hindi 'yung kakalabanin mo. Coach is planning to recruit one more player. Parang balak ni Angelo lumipat ng school. Kaibiganin mo 'yan para masali sa varsity.
I heard that too. Last game nalang ni Angelo this year at lilipat na ng school. Hindi na kami medyo pumalag eh bangko din naman din 'yon lagi. Mabilis pang ma injury.
Pero kawawa si Tyler pag sumali 'to at siya ang nirecruit ni coach. He might only focus on elbowing Tyler's face instead of making a shot. Kaso hindi naman mahilig ito sa basketball. He's not into sports, as far as I remember.
