Sleep
When Sunday came, the party at Angela's house finally happened. Maraming pumunta as usual. I could see some familiar faces, but there were some that were new. As I heard, mga taga ibang school daw na hindi na bago sa akin dahil marami naman talagang dumadayo sa parties namin for many reasons.
Rade Tejano:
I'm already here.
Napatayo ako nang wala sa oras. I wanted to go to him right then, but Angela pulled me somewhere for a while, asking for my help to guide the girls to the drinks inside.
Well, among us all, I have that welcoming vibe, something the girls get easily hooked on, since one smile and I could make their eyes flutter and convince them they're safe in this place.
"Ah dito...if you girls want to use the bathroom, that corner," I pointed in the other direction, where they glanced for a while, pero agad ding binalik sa akin.
"Ikaw si Evander? Maverick Evander?" one of them asked with a sweet smile on her lips.
I licked my lips and nodded, smiled a little, then pulled my phone out. Medyo namula ang pisngi ng babae na naglabas ako ng phone, as if she was anticipating something.
"Excuse me..." agap ko dahil ayoko namang magtagal doon at kung ano-ano namang magliparang rumor sa akin.
"Ay? Akala ko kukunin na ang number mo..." the girls from the back giggled.
"Balita ko manwhore daw 'yan eh. Marami daw girls."
Maverick Evander:
Where are you? Inutusan ako ni Angela na ihatid 'yung girls sa drinks.
He replied right away.
Rade Tejano:
Yup. I saw it. Just enjoy the night. I have friends here too.
Friends. Right...I almost forgot he wasn't that isolated. He got friends. Mostly in Verena's circles, or...may bago kaya?
Maverick Evander:
You'd watch me dance or? Hahahahaha
Rade Tejano:
Go ahead. You're a turn-on when you dance.
My stomach was now grumbling at the word he just used. Turn on. Man...I'm really on my knees when he's like this. Superior and in charge. Fucking hot.
"Ang pogi talaga!" the girls were suddenly shrieking while looking somewhere.
I traced it and saw Rade entering with a group of friends as he conversed seriously with a man while he was wearing his usual get-up, buttoned-down shirt, sleeves were rolled till his arms, and boy, the three buttons were opened like he really knew it would add to his superiority.
"Baka 'yan 'yung boyfriend niya? I heard he's into men?" the girls continued gossiping.
"What? He's gay?"
"But he's so fine though... and bagay sila. Pogi rin pala ang hilig niya."
Umangat ang kilay ko at napasulyap sa kasama niyang lalaki. Matangkad. Maputi. And what caught my attention was its dimple while talking. Though his hair wasn't curly like mine but...
