How the land had changed. It wasn't surprising that it had. Nor was it surpizing what quick work was made. What was surprising was Gandalf the Gray and Radagast the Brown watching the people of the makeshift community. It had been diverse. It seemed like it was the month it took for Awarthon, Bilbo, and Legolas to return for word of mouth spread like wildfire. Tree houses seemed to be the most common housing, pulled together, flimsy as if awaiting the structure that Awarthon could bring as he did he and Legolas own home. Material's seemed scattered from various towns nearby that had been safe from orcs. A small wall seemed to be in the planning, something to protect them from what is out to attack. But nothing set up.

Awarthon set off to a slow gallop upon his horse. Bilbo had walked beside them but now just walked with Legolas. A goal in mind is to meet up with the company of Gandalf, Radagast, Strider, the wife from the fire, and Cenred. He got off the horse while it ran and used the momentum to carry himself to them. "Awarthon," Cenred held a huge smile.

"Oh, thank the heavens and sea, you're safe," the half elf woman spoke, the baby stapped to her back. "Xander and I were worried sick about your arrival. Strider has been of great help to my family along with Cenred," she bowed her head and motioned to them.

"Begilda, I'm so glad to see you and your family have arrived safely. The woods seemed to have told my dear companion of your arrival," Awarthon spoke, giving a firm head nod to the others.

"Speaking of companion, where is Legolas?" Strider asked, his eyes darting around looking for him. The elf would surely stick out amongst the crowd. He was tall with long blond hair and the ethereal glow of years.

Awarthon shrugged a bit. Still unused to have to be formal as these people were looking to him for a lead. He looked back behind him from where they came, "probably heading home to unpack from our travles." He said, looking back to them.

Cenred spoke up, "I made sure to keep your house safe. We never entered unless we had to or unless... well, you should see for yourself," he spoke up, his straight black hair pulled into a sort of small bun and a heavy amount of scruff that was very fitting of his face.

Strider had set off to the cottage of the wed with a sense of urgency to see Legolas. Awarthon let him go for whatever it was probably didn't concern him and instead his beloved. "Oh! Let me get Xander! He would love to see your reaction, stay here for a moment," Begilda spoke excitedly as her baby began to coo at the excitedness of Begilda. She started to walk away, but the baby continued to look at Awarthon.

Awarthon hadn't been around babies. Well, he had been around plenty of baby animals, delivered his fair share, but never saw a baby such as this. He was too flushed with adrenaline to notice that this baby was the first one he had seen. Half elf baby. Well, more elf them human. For two half, elves came to make such creature. The curious eyes he had for the baby seemed to be noticed by the mother and Cenred. "Have you not seen a baby before," Cenred asked curiously

"Nay, I have," Awarthon spoke his enchantment of something so small wearing thin, "just... I've never been so close to one. When traveling with Thorin Oakenshileds company, I mearly ran into those of human and when in the shire of hobbit. I have never seen an elven baby... especially from Rivendell," he said to Cenred, who just set a hand on his shoulder.

Cenred nodded slowly, "I see, it is a strange sight. A baby elf," he repeated with a soft smile, "Awarthon, you're quite young, are you not? Seem no older than in your twentys," Cenred asked. He appeared to be older, about forty, and has a child whom Awarthon had healed. "Do you desire to start one for yourself?" It felt strange to have someone speak to him of family and the future of such. But had he? After leaving mirkwood due to banishment, he hadn't thought much of domestic things. Nothing of children or of family. In fact, it was quite rare for elves to even have children, and it seemed to be in waves of succession.
