Chan P.O.V
We left early the next morning. We booked the earliest flight out to avoid fans getting in our way. Seungmin sat next to the window and I sat in the middle seat. He hadn't said much since we left. I could tell there was a lot on his mind. I wasn't surprised because we were fucked at that moment. Seungmin grabbed my hand as we hit turbulence. I pressed my lips to his ear and whispered sweet nothings to distract him. We'd got on airplanes a lot because of our career but he was terrified every time we hit turbulence. He dug his nails into my hand. I sighed.
"Don't you sigh. I do way worse to you all the time." I chuckled.
"I wasn't sighing because it hurt. I was sighing because of the turbulence. It's scaring my baby and I'm not happy with it." He chuckled.
"Chan, stop. You're supposed to be an asshole." I raised a brow.
"Says the guy that told me to become a better guy."
"Yeah. I told you to become a better person. Not a cheesy one." I sighed. In all of the years I'd known him, he could never make up his mind about anything. He smiled at me knowingly. "Look, I love the cheesy side of you but right now is not the time."
"Then what do you want me to be?"
"I want you to be my husband who loves me unconditionally." My heart skipped a beat.
"I already love you unconditionally."
"Maybe, but you're not my husband." I sighed.
"We're engaged."
"But you're still not my husband." He leaned his head on my shoulder and wrapped his arm around mine. I knew he was anxious. He was terrified about our current situation. That was why he was trying to distract himself.
"I will be whenever you ask me to be."
"As soon as possible is preferred."
"You don't want the members to be there?"
"Chan, we may die. Just marry me in Australia and we can have a wedding for them later." I bit my lip and nodded.
"Sure, baby." The rest of the flight was quiet. When we dropped down, Seungmin woke up and grabbed my hand as he always did. I pressed my lips to his temple and fixed his hair. He smiled at me sleepily. I smiled back and wrapped my arm around him. We waited until everyone else got off the plane before getting off ourselves. Seungmin still wasn't fully awake so he leaned against me as we walked through the airport.
"It's so hot." I chuckled.
"Baby, you know it's hot in Australia during the winter." He rolled his eyes.
"I know that. Let me take my hoodie off." I nodded and stopped so he could take it off.
"Do you feel better, love?" He smiled and nodded.
"I feel much better. I'm really glad we're here." I raised a brow. Seungmin always complained when we came.
"You hate Australia." He huffed.
"I do not. I just don't like it in the winter because it's cold back-." Seungmin stopped talking then and froze. I started looking around, trying to figure out what he was looking at. There was fear in his eyes and his skin went pale. I tightened my arm around him and pulled him to the side.
"Seungmin, what happened? What's wrong?" He was shaking a bit. I grabbed his hands and rubbed them lightly.
"J-Jaejun." I leaned down and forced him to focus on me.
"What about him?"
"H-he's here. I saw him."
