Seungmin P.O.V
I couldn't move. My entire body was frozen. All of the memories of what Jaejun did to me came flooding back. I was so angry but I was also really scared. Chan had his arms winded tightly around me but it wasn't doing anything. It was like I couldn't even feel him there. I just kept seeing Jaejun's smirk in my head.
"Seungmin. Baby. Come on. We have to get out of here. Seungmin." It wasn't till He said my name again that his words finally got through to me.
"Okay. Okay. Let's go." Chan wrapped his jacket around me and pulled me through a hallway. "Where are we going?" He sighed.
"When Lix and I come to Australia, we usually get here in the middle of the day. This is how we get out without being spotted. Luckily for us, we didn't check our bags. Now, come on. We need to get out of here before he realizes that we came this way."
"Do you know the way?" He smiled.
"Of course I do." We took a few more turns after that and came to an exit. I took in a deep breath as we walked outside.
"How did he know?" Chan didn't have an answer. He didn't even try. He just stayed quiet. "I'm sorry for freezing up in there." I said, changing the subject.
"It's okay. It was expected. I just didn't think he would find us that fast. I thought we would have more time. I'm sorry." I shook my head.
"How are we getting out of here?" Chan sighed in frustration.
"Well, he knows we're here so he probably knows how we're leaving."
"Do you think he knows where we're going?" He shook his head.
"I doubt it. The place doesn't exist on paper. It was a private exchange." I raised a brow.
"Are you telling me that your parents are shady?" He smirked.
"Take that however you will, baby. Come on. I have a plan but right now, we need to get out of sight." I nodded. He grabbed my bag with one hand and took my hand with the other.
"We're gonna need more stuff." He chuckled.
"Don't worry. We'll have everything we need when we get there." After a few minutes of walking, we came to a cafe that was out of sight. Chan and I walked in and he immediately went to the counter. I followed behind him quietly. A guy looked up at him and smiled.
"Chris, it's good to see you."
"You too." The guy raised a brow at me. Chan smiled.
"This is my fiancé Seungmin. Seungmin, this is Charlie. He's a friend of the family." He said, introducing us. Charlie nodded at me with a smile.
"What can I do for you, Chris."
"I need a favor." Charlie raised a brow.
"What kind of favor?" Chan glimpsed at me only for a moment before responding.
"Blackberry." I raised a brow at Charlie's reaction. His eyes went wide. He sighed and nodded.
"You owe me one, kid." Chan chuckled.
"I know. Thank you." Charlie motioned us to follow him. I gave Chan a questioning look but he only shook his head.
"I haven't seen you in five years and all you got is to ask me a favor. No 'hi, how are you.' Just a favor and it's not even an easy one." Charlie said as he started moving around in a room that looked like a garage. He turned on a light. My eyes widened at the sight of a black motorcycle.
"Don't worry, mate. I'll get your baby back without a scratch."
"You better."
"Blackberry is a motorcycle?" I asked, surprised. Chan sighed, seeming to know what was coming.
"She's not just a motorcycle. She's my world." I smiled.
"I see." Chan grabbed the keys from Charlie's hand.
"We would love to stay and chat some more but we have to go." Charlie nodded.
"Look, I don't know what you got yourself into but be careful. If you need me or need anything, I'm one call away." Chan nodded.
"Thank you."
"And Seungmin, good luck with him and it was very nice to meet you." I smiled and nodded.
"Likewise." We left after that. Our drive seemed like it went on forever. It was dark by the time we arrived at our destination. Chan hadn't been kidding when he said it was out of the way. I didn't even know a place like that existed in Australia.
