Seungmin P.O.V
We were now sitting on our bed in silence. He was quiet, knowing I was trying to work up the nerve to tell him. I finally took a deep breath and spoke.
"Before I tell you my story, I have a confession." Chan raised a brow. Although this was the absolute worst time to tell him but I felt the urge at that moment. "I slept with Han." His mouth dropped.
"You what now?" I busted out into laughter for a moment.
"It was an accident. We were talking about you and Leeknow Hyung. Long story short, we got drunk. Too drunk. The next morning we woke up and were both naked. We decided to never talk about it again but I felt it was the right moment to tell you. Maybe I just wanted to lighten the mood."
"Before we got together right?" I laughed again.
"Of course. We'd never cheat on you guys."
"I never thought in a million years that we'd ever have this conversation."
"Neither did I but now I should tell you what happened to me." Chan nodded. "It was two weeks after my dad died. I was at home with one of my cousins. Our parents were out. He commented on how I was pretty. Of course, I thought it was a weird comment but I didn't think too much about it. Later on that day, I was lying in bed. He walked into my room and shut the door. I was confused and nervous. He then laid down beside me and started caressing my arm. I felt uncomfortable and asked him to stop. He didn't though. He just continued. Nobody but us was at home. It didn't matter how loud I screamed. He never stopped. He got what he wanted and told me that if I ever told someone, he would make me regret it. After that, I couldn't talk anymore." I only realized after I was done talking that I'd started crying. Despite his anger, his touch was gentle when he wiped the tears from my eyes.
"I'm sorry. I am. If I could change what happened, I would." I smiled and pressed a little kiss to his lips.
"I know. That's one of the reasons I love you." We didn't talk about it anymore after that but I knew he was thinking about it. I knew he would continue to think about it for a while. The next afternoon, we woke up with conflicted feelings. Leeknow called us out to have lunch so we went to the restaurant and waited. We were getting looks but it didn't bother us anymore. We were used to it. A smile appeared on my face when I saw Han. I thought back to the morning when I confessed to Chan about us. He sat down beside me and Leeknow sat opposite us with Chan. I turned to Han and leaned in to whisper in his ear.
"I told him this morning about the thing." I moved away. His face turned a bright red and his eyes widened.
"You told him?" I hummed.
"It was a necessity." He only nodded. Han turned to Chan and leaned his head down in shame. Chan laughed.
"Don't worry about it Hanie. I'm not mad. It was crazy though. That was the last thing I expected to hear so early in the morning." Leeknow looked between the three of us in curiosity. Chan laughed.
"You haven't told him have you?" Han shook his head.
"I have not because we agreed to never talk about it again." He said the last part while glaring at me.
"Look, we were having a serious conversation and I wanted to lighten the mood. I mean, they did it too." Han frowned. He turned his head a bit. I nodded at his silent question.
"I told him. He took it better than I thought." Chan cleared his throat.
"Hanie, you knew?" Han nodded at Chan's question.
"That night we got drunk, he told me. Then he cried about you for a long time. He may get mad at me for telling you this but don't blame him for waiting this long. His biggest worry was hurting you. Don't hate him for that." Chan's eyes glowed at me.
"I'm not mad at him. I understand. I probably shouldn't have reacted the way I did but I'm not mad."
"Good. It's in the past and that isn't who he is. It's just something that happened." Chan nodded at Han's words. Leeknow sat beside him with a confused expression. He was the only one who didn't know. I wasn't ready to tell him though. It took everything to tell Chan about it and the only reason Han knew was because I was drunk and heartbroken. Han understood and shook his head at him. Of course, Leeknow knew a lot about me. He knew things that none of the other members knew. He knew things that not even Chan knew. Leeknow nodded and changed the topic.
"So the argument you guys had is over then?" I shook my head.
"No. He'll make me mad again. He always does." Chan chuckled.
"You say that but it only takes about 10 minutes for you to forgive me." He said with a smirk. Leeknow and Han faked a gag.
"Ew." Leeknow said. Chan turned toward him with a smile.
" Says you. You used to run for me." It was mine and Han's turn to gag.
"Need I remind you guys that you're in public?" Han whispered. I wrapped my arm around his neck with a smile. He raised a brow.
"Hanie, maybe we should give the Hyungs some space yeah?" Hanie smirked and nodded.
"We should. Let's go for a walk." He stood up and turned to Leeknow.
"Thanks for the meal, baby. Love you." Leeknow moved to stand up but Han shook his head. "Bye, guys." After that, we left the restaurant. We giggled a little before Han wrapped his arm around my waist and sighed.
"So you told him." I nodded in response. "Are you okay with that?" I sighed.
"After the wedding, I got some text messages. I wasn't going to tell you guys but I think at least you should know." I pulled out my phone and showed him the messages. After he was done, he gave it back to me. There was a frown on his face.
"You told him because of this?" I nodded.
"And because our apartment was broken into when we got back from the hotel. There was only one thing missing though."
"What was it?"
"A photo from our bedroom. The night of the proposal. I think my past is coming back to haunt me. That's why I told him."
"You think... he's coming for you?" I nodded.
"I'm not sure but if he is, I need Chan to be prepared."
"You didn't tell him everything did you?" I shook my head at his question.
"No. I didn't tell him the other thing."
"Why?"
"Because you know as well as I do what Chan Hyung is like." He raised a brow and tightened his arm around me.
"What's your point?"
"You know how dangerous he is."
"I do but that doesn't answer my question. Why would that stop you from telling him everything?"
"If my past is back to haunt me and Chan Hyung goes digging into it, he'll die. That man is just as dangerous as Chan Hyung. If he finds out Chan Hyung is digging then he will assume that he knows something. He will assume that I told him something. He gets rid of loose ends. That's just how he is and when Chan Hyung is angry, he becomes a different person. He isn't the same man I love. Do you get it now?"
"I do but isn't it more dangerous for him not to know? He knows you're hiding something. He knows you, Seungmin. If you don't tell him, I guarantee you that he will dig until he finds out the truth."
"Maybe you're right. Maybe I should tell him the real reason my father died."
