Chan P.O.V
I sighed and slid my hand over Seungmin's. He still hadn't woken up. It had only been a couple of hours but I was still worried. There were so many unanswered questions. Why did my father hate Seungmin? Why did he want to kill me? He said that Seungmin ruined his plans and his son but I'm his son. I was his only son. What the hell was going on? What was being hidden from me all this time? What did it have to do with Seungmin? My sigh turned into a frustrated huff. I looked up when the door opened. Elias stood there with swollen eyes. Had he...
"Chris, we need to talk." I frowned and nodded. I stood up and gave Seungmin a quick kiss on the forehead before stepping into the hall.
"What is it, Elias?" He sat down and motioned me to do the same.
"Before I tell you what Jaejun said, there are some things I need to tell you." I nodded. "Um, my parents who were murdered weren't my biological parents. They adopted me when my parents gave me up for adoption. I only learned about this recently. I was born in Korea and my parents are Korean. My father is dead but my mother is still alive." I raised a brow.
"Why are you telling me all of this?" He looked away.
"My father was Seungmin's father and his mother is my mother. I'm 6 years older than him. I assume they were too young or just couldn't afford to raise me. I'm not sure. There isn't a huge age difference so my guess is the ladder." It took me a really long time to realize what Elias had just told me. It made a lot of sense though. How else could he be so comfortable with Seungmin that fast?
"What did... Jaejun tell you?" He sighed.
"Jaejun knows he won't get out of there alive so he decided to tell me the truth. Your father was the source of all of Seungmin's pain. Seungmin being hurt was his fault. He made Jaejun do all of that. He was also the reason my and Seungmin's father died." My blood boiled.
"Why?"
"Jaejun is your half brother. Your father was his father. He got in contact with him. Your father hated ours because he was the biggest bug in his life. In other words, Our father was a boss too but he was like yours. He did things differently. He did it the right way. He cared more about his people than his money. That caused problems for your father. Anyway, he's to blame for it all."
"And you?" He raised a brow.
"What about me?"
"I may not be around but I have people who keep me in the loop. I know what you've been doing. Now that my father is dead, what are your plans?" He shrugged.
"Nothing. I think I'm going to come to Korea with you guys. I want to have a relationship with Seungmin and be in his life. I'd like to meet my mother too if she would like. Either way, there's nothing left for me here. It's time for me to leave." I nodded and smiled.
"I can't believe you're Seungmin's brother. That was just something else. I suppose it makes sense though. You don't usually get comfortable with people that fast. It's like you took one look at him and decided he was a good person." He chuckled.
"There is only one thing bothering me."
"What's that?"
"Jaejun said that it runs in the blood about Seungmin when he called me a psychopath. What did he mean by that?"
"Well, when you were making us food, Seungmin took that knife and started talking to him. It was like he became a different person. Like a switch in his head flipped." He bit his lip.
"I guess it really does run in the family then. I'm honestly not surprised. A person like Seungmin couldn't be my brother and not have a side like that. People like me and Seungmin aren't normal. We have a side that stays locked away and only comes out when it's necessary." I nodded.
"What's it like?"
"When the switch is flipped, our humanity disappears and we only think about keeping the person or ourselves alive. There's no happiness. No sadness. It's basically nothingness."
"That's terrifying." He nodded.
"It is. We have no control over it till the switch is flipped again. I wish Seungmin hadn't become like me but I guess that made him a better person. Because he knew that thing was inside of him, he worked harder to become better. I'd have to say, I'm a proud big brother." I chuckled.
"I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing."
"Who knows." I shook my head.
"Could you stay with him for a while? I need to go do something." He nodded.
"Go ahead." I nodded and left.

Seungmin P.O.V
My head was pounding and my stomach hurt like hell but I was alive. How was I alive?
"Seungmin? Are you okay?"
"I'm okay. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. How are we still here?"
"I don't know. I'm going to turn you off for now."
"Okay. I'm here if you need me." My eyes opened. I looked around at the unfamiliar room. I heard a chair scrape across the floor.
"Seungmin. There you are. Hey, kid." I smiled at the sound of Elias's voice. I could hear relief and sadness. He appeared in my line of vision.
"Elias. Water." He nodded. He walked across the room and came back with water. He helped me sit up and take a sip of water. "Thank you. Where am I?" He smiled.
"My uncle's. He got the bullet out but there's gonna be a scar." I sighed. All these years.
"That's fine. I don't wear crop tops like Chan does." He chuckled.
"That's true."
"What happened?"
"You jumped in front of that bullet and then Chris shot his father."
"Is he dead?" He nodded.
"He's dead."
"Good. I hated that bastard."
"Me too. Um, there's something I want to tell you." I nodded.
"Tell me."
