What, now?

Pietra's P.O.V

When I had woken up for the second time, I looked up at the clock and freaked. 8:30. When do I ever sleep in, it just wastes my day! I elbowed Nico in the ribs as nicely as I could, while throwing off the covers.
"Waa rrrr ooh awaaak?" Nico groaned at me, turning his body and smashing his head into my pillow that I wasn't occupying anymore. Ummm....
"What?" I questioned him, tilting my head to the side as I forced my body to wake up and begin the long and treacherous journey to the shower.
Nico lifted his head, "Why are you awake?"
I rolled my eyes at him, even though he couldn't see it, and shoved him hard in the shoulder as I lifted myself up and stumbled over to the bathroom, swinging the door shut behind me.
I stretched, reaching my hands high above my head, and then folding forwards to reach my toes. Before I stripped off my clothes, I turned on the hot water, it was better than having to wait at the edge of the shower with cold water splashing up on you, and then quickly stepped into the shower when I saw steam fogging the glass.
Aaahhhhhhh.....
It felt so good! The hot water pounding against my skin, my head rolling on my shoulders as I allowed the water to splash upon my neck, and my hair feeling new and refreshed. I didn't want to get out of the shower at all. I wouldn't have been surprised that finally when I did get out of the shower, that it would already be night time.

I thought about what clothes I wanted to wear today- it was quite cool outside according to the digital clock that projected on to the far wall of the bathroom, and I started picturing the clothes that I wanted. I held my hands out and then black leather pants, a plain white singlet and a leather mid cut jacket fell into them. The perks of being a Child of Aphrodite, well, not completely thank the gods, but enough to get some pretty cool powers.

Once I had changed, I walked out of the bathroom, leaving the fan on as the mirror was still covered with condensation, and I grabbed my black boots that were sitting next to the bed. I glanced over at Nico, who was still fast asleep even though the alarm clock said 9:02, and rolled my eyes. He might as well just stay all day in his cabin!

Before I jogged outside, I grabbed my weapons and strapped them where they usually went, reached up to my neck to fiddle with my bow and arrow necklace, and rolled my eyes again at Nico, who was still lying there like a log. Quickly shutting the door behind me, I stepped in to the crisped air and jogged over to the dining pavilion, where I was met by a delicious smell of eggs, bacon, mushroom and pancakes.
Yass! I did a quick leprechaun jump, clicking my heels together in the air, and then let out a small whoop.
I got a few weird looks but who cares, breakfast is the best! I felt myself begin to drool as I got closer and saw the food upon the table. My eyes widened and I started singing 'Paridise' by Coldplay in my head.

Once I had collected my food, I skipped the 'offering to the gods' ritual, and plonked myself down on the Hades cabin table, digging in to the deliciousness. I was finished my meal too soon, wondering if I could get seconds. I tapped my foot on the ground as I swallowed the last mouthful, rocking back and forward as I tried as best as I could to save the flavours in my mouth.

Just as I was about to stand up and speed walk to the self-serve station up-front, I was interrupted by a particular centaur.
"Now, Chiron?" I sighed, shrugging off his hand that had been gripping my shoulder, and placing my plate back on the table.
"Where's Nico?" He asked, ignoring my complaint and staring at me seriously.
"Last time I checked, Di Angelo was asleep in the cabin, he's in hibernation mode." I recalled him burrowing his head in his pillow when I opened the door, and groaning like a bear.
"Great, go get him. You guys are going on a Quest." He said, not looking like anything was 'great' at all. It must have taken me a while to process all the stupid he was saying, because I replied really intelligently.
"Huh?"
Chiron sighed at my response and waved his hand, as if flicking away any problems, or in my case, stupidity.
"I'll tell you all about it once you get the boy."
"But-"
"No buts." If I wasn't feeling completely confused, I bet I would've burst out laughing. I trudged back to the Hades Cabin, feeling like I was as intelligent as a two-year old, and wondering how the Hades I was going to be able to wake up Nico.
