Nico's P.O.V

"What about this one?" I looked at myself in the mirror, almost not caring anymore. We had been at this for hours, and had still not gotten anywhere. I would've just picked my normal clothes, but my 'stylist' was insistent to find me something different. You'll get what I mean in a second...

Straight after breakfast, Percy had come in with his entourage, Jason, Will and Leo, who were all determined to find me something to wear to the dance that was tonight. I rolled my eyes as my 'stylists' strutted in, shades on and combs popping out of their pockets. Percy took up the lead, holding a hair dryer like a gun and swinging a tie in the other hand, a satchel swung over his shoulder. Leo was next with marker drawings all over his body, most of them saying 'Badboy' and 'Team Leo'. Then it was Jason's turn to pop out of the doorway, singing into a sparking hairbrush and dipping his shades. Will was taking up the back, a stereo resting on his shoulder, blasting out Starwars music.

I mentally chuckled at how stupid they looked, but I made sure they didn't see my amusement. I rolled my eyes again as Percy turned off the hair dryer and clapped his hands twice, signalling for Will to turn off the music. They froze in their spots and swung off their sunglasses in synchronisation.

"Did you practise that?" I asked, genuinely concerned that they didn't have a life.

"Many, many hours." Jason muttered wistfully, shaking his head.

"Come on," Leo nudged Jason, grinning from ear to ear, "It was totally worth it!"

"Anyway," Percy interrupted, "are you ready to make all the girls go wild?" Percy said in a booming voice.

"Are you ready to look 1000 times better than you do now?" Leo mimicked Percy's tone. Percy shot him a look, before whispering, "Let me do the talking."
Leo shrugged, before doing a pretty pathetic whoop and a completely unenthusiastic "Team Leo."

I sat on my bed while Jason and Will went through my clothes, Percy unpacked his bag that was full of hair products and cologne, and Leo was busy making something that only Zeus would know what. I found out later that he was making one of those spinney chairs that they had in the barbers. Idiot.

I was suddenly pushed into the bathroom by Will and Jason, with a tuxedo and a pair of those really pointy shoes that I knew were not mine. Somehow I managed to squish my feet into the shoes, and with a few YouTube demonstrations, I learned how to tie a tie.

I looked at myself in the mirror, and almost yelled in pain, my eyes! I looked ridiculous! My so called 'stylists' made me look like I was going to be the groom at a wedding!

"No! Definitely not! I look ridiculous! What kind of 'stylists' are you?" I shouted through the door, loosening my tie.

"Just let us see! We need to see what is wrong with the outfit, and what style suits you!" I heard Percy shout, trying to sound like he actually knew what he was talking about.

I unwillingly wrenched open the door and stepped out, glaring at the guys who were fixing their hair in the mirror that was opposite my bed.
They turned their heads in my direction, scanning my outfit, before glancing back to each other. They simultaneously burst out laughing, and I groaned with frustration.
I turned to leave and go get changed in the bathroom, when Percy yelled out to me to stop. I turned back around, shooting them a glare, and they instantly stopped laughing.

Leo glanced over at me, shook his head, placing a hand on his hip and clicking his tongue, while Jason strutted over to me and fixed my loosened tie. He stepped back to look at his work and clicked his fingers, getting the other guys' attention, which both shook their heads, mimicking Leo, who flicked back his hair.
