Pietra's P.O.V

I stopped short, holding my breath as Nico squeezed my waist tighter and lifted his sword. What was happening? Could Nico see someone? Or maybe it was a something....
I turned my head slowly to face Di Angelo, my eyes connecting with his as he listened intently to sounds I couldn't hear.
Oh no- it's happening.
Nico's going crazy...
Wait- wasn't he already?
Okay, serious situation here!
Sorry...

I watched as Nico pulled me closer to his hip with one arm, and then held out his sword with the other, a grim look on his face. After about 30 seconds of staring into what I thought was empty space, his eyes widened with realisation, before whispering in my ear, "Lemures. I didn't know they came to Greenland..."
What the hell are Lemures?
And I don't think he's talking about the little furry guys from Madagascar...
I glanced at him, hoping for an explanation, but instead, he pulled me over to the middle of the room and gazed out at the window. Suddenly, the little light that was coming from the window and the hallway flickered off, and we were in darkness. I waited 10 seconds, my hand gripped tightly on the hilt of my sword, before a bright ball of light illuminated the room in a cold glow. I squinted, my eyes adjusting to the sudden brightness, while shadows were cast around the room from the ball of light in Nico's hands. I drew my sword before glancing over to Di Angelo. He was concentrating fiercely, his eyes narrowed as he growled, "πάει μακριά lemures , δεν ανήκουν εδώ!". My mind instantly translated the Ancient Greek to English, so I heard, Go away Lemures, you do not belong here!
Chaos erupted in the room, and angry hisses filled the small space. Wind lashed at our bodies and I spun around, trying to target where all the noise was coming from.
Could I just say, targeting the noise was pretty hard to do, it seemed like it was coming from everywhere.
I glanced back to see Nico closing his hands over the ball of light, his jaw clenched,
and suddenly, everything was over.

No sound, no wind and no lemures.
Well, at least I thought there were no lemures, but I really had no clue what they actually were so...
I turned back to Nico, about to fire questions at him about what the Hades had just happened, but just as I caught sight of him, I noticed him clutching his stomach and gasping for breath.
"Nico!" I ran over to him, just in time to catch him as his knees buckled from underneath him. I pulled his body half a metre over to the couch, and sat him down, before running over to my backpack and pulling out some Ambrosia. "I'm fine, just tired a-"
"Shut-up." I interrupted him, popping some Ambrosia into his mouth and watching him chew it. "Thanks." He muttered, his breathing finally settling into a normal rate. I rolled my eyes, a smile tugging at my lips as I ruffled his hair. "No problem Di Angelo."

I squeezed my wet hair and heard it drip onto the floor of the shower. Steam fogged my vision as it swirled around the bathroom, and the light (that was currently off) was dripping with condensation. At first I couldn't see a thing, but my eyes adjusted quickly to the dim source of light that was coming from underneath the door.
Wrapping a towel around me, I stepped out onto the mat and dried myself off, before throwing on my underwear, a half-top, and a large black t-shirt. I let my hair drip onto the mat for a bit longer, before finally grabbing my dirty clothes and knocking on the door. I know, you may think that it's weird for me to be knocking when it's my room I'm going into, but I have had bad experiences with 'barging in' on people.
"You can come in." Nico called out, his deep voice resonating easily through the thin walls of the crappy hotel. I stumbled out, juggling my boots, clothes and weapons while trying to open the door, and managed to carry all of my stuff all of the way to my side of the bed, where I promptly dropped it on the floor, and kicked it next to my backpack. I scanned the room around me, taking it all in, before glancing over to Nico. He walked over to the bathroom, not before meeting my gaze, and then closed the door behind him. I looked away, rolling my eyes.
