Chapter 31

Ry's Pov

Andy walked away after our little talk, but I wasn't ready to go back in just yet. I took out another cigarette out and lit it up. I sighed and thought about everything that happened this past week. Then my mind wondered back to what Ash told me.

I wasn't sure what I should believe. I know that he loves me or that he does love me. Other than that, I wasn't so sure that I could take his words to heart. I took another drag of the cigarette when the back doors opened. I didn't hide my cigarette from view.

"Since when have you been smoking, I swear that if Andy gave you that to smoke-"

"Calm down CC. I only smoke when I'm stressed out. And right now, I'm stressed," I told him.

CC sat next to me and said, "What happened."

"Nothing much, just some things I need to think about," I lied to him.

I didn't like lying to CC, but I didn't want him to make a big deal out of what Ash had told me. I felt CC put his arm on my shoulder and said, "Can you please tell me."

I put out my cigarette and looked at CC and said, "Its nothing to worry about. But if you want to know, I'm thinking that I must make some changes in my life. Changes I don't want to make, but I might have to."

With that part lie, part truth, I walked away from CC and back inside. I sat down and pulled out my phone and texted Kat.

Ry- I need to talk to you asap.

Ksis-What's wrong??

I sighed and texted back.

RY-I'm thinking about doing something that will hurt the one guy that has shown me any real love that a woman needs from a man. It's going to kill me but what else is there for me to do.

After I sent that text Kat came walking over to me from the dressing room and sat down with me where the meet and greet would be held.

"What happened?" Kat asked.

"I'm going to hurt him when he finds out what's going on with me. I'm scared of telling him about-" I couldn't finish saying anything because I started to cry. Kat held me close.

"Calm down before one of them hears you," Kat told me.

I calmed down and I told Kat what Ash told me. She looked happy but then she realized what was wrong.

"You didn't tell them yet did you," Asked Kat.

"When was I supposed to bring up the fact that, that-" I couldn't say it.

"Ry the doctors said that you could have a child, but the pregnancy would be hard on you because of all the damaged that happened. But the doctors also said that things could be fine. You just can't be overworked," said Kat.

I knew that she was right. I sighed and I was about to get up when Ash walked into the room. I froze and glanced at Kat. She knew right then and there that I would need her next to me unless I gave the word.

"Ry is everything okay or is there something you want to tell me?" Asked Ash.

CC's POV

I walked back inside and noticed that Kat walked over to Ry, and they walked off backstage. I sighed and walked over to Ash. He looked at me and then back at his bass.

"Ash did something happen between you and Ry before sound check?" I asked him.

"No why do you ask?" He asked me.

"She seemed kind of off when I talked to her last. Did you say anything to her. Anything at all?" I asked him again.

He sighed and said, "I told her that when she was ready that we could take it to the next level. Then I told her that if she wanted kids, I would give them to her. Then she asked me if I was serious about it, and I told her that I'm not sure about having kids because I would miss out and then it seemed like she shut down. I don't know what I did wrong."

I knew he was telling the truth. I sighed and said, "I think you two need some alone time tonight before they have to go back. I know you spent most of the night trying to find her, maybe she wants to know where you see this relationship going."

"I agree with CC," said Andy.

We both turned to him and he said, "Ry told me what was bothering her because I wasn't her brother, and I could tell her something different. I think she's hiding something because she seemed a little down when she said that Ash brought up having a child."

"Well Ry told CC and Kat to get working on having at least three more kids. Two more boys and one little girl. I told Ry that I would give her as many kids as she wants," Ash said.

Andy looked at Ash and said, "Go talk to her but don't let it get out of hand because we have a concert to do."

Ash nodded his head and walked to where Kat and Ry walked to. I sighed and looked at Andy and said, "Is it me or has Ash changed?"

Ash's POV

After talking to CC and Andy I walked to where the girls were. I heard everything that they were saying. When I heard someone get up, I walked in and said, "Ry is everything okay or is there something you want to tell me?"

Kat held Ry's hand and Ry looked down at the floor. I waited quietly and when I walked over to her, Kat pushed me back a little and said, "I know that you want to know but please don't push her into telling you. I know that you love her, but there is something she wants to talk to you about, but-"

"Kat can you please leave the room. I want to talk to Ash alone. Can you please keep the others away from the door?" Ry asked Kat.

"Sure, but Ash don't get pissed because it took her a while to come to terms with this."
