Chapter 48

Ry's POV

I had my brother's phone, so I faced timed called Ash. He picked up and when he saw me, he was about to hang up.

"Ash, I need to talk to you," I told him.

He looked the same, but I could tell he hadn't been sleeping. He looked at me and said, "What do you want Ry."

"I've been sick, and I went to the doctors today. They took some blood and found out that I'm...I'm." I couldn't say.

Ash looked at me and said, "Your what Ry."

I looked away from the phone and said, "Pregnant with your child."

"Wait. You're. Pregnant?" he asked me.

"Yea. I found out today. I know we're not together, but I'm not getting rid of the child or adopting it out. I'm going to keep it. I don't care if we're together or not, but I just want to let you know I'll let you see the child. I'm sorry. I know this is something you really didn't want. I just got to let you know that this isn't going to be smooth like it is for CC and Kat. So, if I don't make it in the end, I want you to promise me that you'll take care of this baby and let Kat and my mother help you," I told him.

"Ry I promise, but I need to tell you something, I had a one-night stand wit-"

I cut him off and said, "I know. It's okay because we broke up. I'm going to bed. I don't care about them unless we get back together, and you sleep around again, and I'll only let you see our child once a month."

Ash sighed when a girl walked into his room. She's pretty. She looked at Ash and said, "Party boy grandma is looking for you. Oh sorry, did I-"

"Ace, this is Ry. Ry this is my cousin Ace. I know pictures are all over the internet of her and me together, but she's been keeping the sluts away from me after I had that one nightstand," Ash told me.

I just nodded my head when Ace looked at me and said, "Hey, so your CC's sister. It is finally good to meet you. Sorry I walked in, I just thought Ash had another girl in here."

I laughed and said, "It's okay. Um Ash can you call me later so we can talk or something."

"I will. Wait when do you go to see a baby doctor?" Ash asked me.

Ace froze and said, "Baby? What baby?"

Ash froze and I said, "My sister-in-law is dating CC. He got her pregnant and she has an appointment next week to see how the growing child is doing."

"Oh good. I thought Ash gotten you pregnant for a minute there. I'm not against it, but if you were and he slept with that slut in-"

"Ry did you tell Ash what-" Kat started to say as she cut Ace off.

"Kat not now. Ash has his cousin in the room," I told her.

Kat walked away and Ash looked at me and said, "I'll talk to Ace about what you said. Does anyone else know?"

"Well, the band knows, my parents, and CC," I told him.

"Ry can I sleep with you. I had a bad dream," called Damon.

"Come one little man, why don't you say hi to Ash," I told him.

Damon ran into my room and looked at Ash and said, "I miss you, Ash."

"Hey little man, look I'm sorry I hurt your aunt. I'm going to make it up to her. I'll be flying out their Monday okay. "

"Okay, but Ash is it okay if I call CC daddy?" Damon asked.

I was shocked and Ash looked at me and at Damon and said, "Let's talk about that with mommy, your aunt, and your grandmother. Then we'll come up with a plan okay."

"Okay. Night Uncle Ash. I'm going night nights." Damon said as he curled up in my bed and he was out like a light.

"Ry I'll call you tomorrow. Get some rest. Let me think things over and I'll get back to you." Ash told me.

I nodded my head and ended the call.

ASH POV

Ry hung up on me. I was shocked about the news. Ace looked at me and said, "Ash why was CC's sister calling you?"

I turned to my cousin and said, "Because I had been seeing her for about five months. We broke up a few days before I came back home. I haven't talked to her, and she found some news out. Please don't tell anyone just yet."

"Ash, you're scaring me. What did she tell you?" Ace asked again.

"She's pregnant with my child," I told her.

"She's what and you broke-"

I cut her off and said, "I didn't know. I just found out. I was a mess for days when I got here until you slapped me back into reality. But she wants to keep the baby. We have to talk about us being together again."

"Ash, don't you know that the-"

"Ace, I know. But I didn't realize that I forgot. Anyways I have things to think over. I'm in a band and she's still going to college. Her sister -in- law already has a little boy and she's pregnant with her second baby. I'm worried about her being on her own," I told her.

Ace sat next to me on the bed and said, "I think you two should get back together. You love her. I can tell. So, when you go back Monday talk to her."
