Chapter 34

Ry's Pov

For the next week I didn't pick up any of the guys' calls. Kat finally called me and told me that Ash was fine. She told me that I needed to talk to the guys because they were worried about me. I told Kat that I'm fine and that I was getting ready to take Dam out tonight.

Tonight was Halloween. I smiled because I had no classes and Max said that he would help me take Dam out since his girlfriend had to work at the cafe. I was finished getting dressed for the night, I was wearing a black, short dress and I was a witch. Dam was going as a power ranger because he loved that show, yet he wanted to also be like CC, but I told him that he could be CC or one of the guy's next year because his mom picked out his costume.

All too soon there was a knock on the door, and I went to answer it and saw Max was standing outside my door. I smiled and said, "Hey Max or should I say Mr. zombie?"

Dam came running to us and yelled, "Uncle Max."

I smiled when Max picked him up and said, "Hey little man. My goodness, look how much you are getting to look like your father every day."

Dam looked at me and said, "Ry what does he mean?"

I sighed and bent down to Dam's level and said, "When uncle Max said that you looked like your daddy he means, that you remind him of your daddy."

"Oh, like when mommy said you look like Uncle CC?" Asked Dam.

"Yes. So, are you ready to get candy from people?" I asked him.

"You mean to rob people from their candy?" asked Max.

I laughed and so did Dam. We left the apartment and got into Max's car, and he drove off the cafe where he's girlfriend was working at. We walked into the cafe to order some drinks. Then this girl with long blonde hair and a heart tattoo walked up to Max and kissed him.

"Hey babe what are you doing here?" asked the girl.

"Sal this is my little sis Ry and her nephew Dam. Ry, Dam, this is my girlfriend Sal," said Max.

"It's good to finally meet you two. Max wouldn't stop talking about you, Ry. He told me that you two were best friends, even tried to date but you two just decided to remain friends," said Sal.

I looked over at Max and said, "You told me you wouldn't tell anyone one."

"Well after talking to Kat, she told me you told CC and Ash. So, I'm sorry," said Max.

"Ugh your lucky that I think of you as a brother or you would have my drink on you by now," I said.

Dam looked up and said, "You dated my aunt and now she's with Uncle Ash. Why didn't I know this?"
