Chapter 10

Ry's POV

"I don't know. I think this is a mistake. Everything. I don't think I can go with you guys on tour. I'm sorry." I whispered to him.

"Ry what's going on this isn't like you," he said.

I didn't say anything but looked away and walked over to my window and said, "Its nothing. Just been over thinking things way too much. I'm not sure what I'm doing or saying is okay. It's nothing to worry about. I just need to let you know that I cannot drink Alcohol or be around it. Can you let the others know while I get ready for Damon. Kate will be bringing him by."

CC walked out of the room. I picked up Damon's blanket and pillow. I walked near the door, and I listened to what they were saying.

"CC is everything okay with her?" asked Ashley.

"Yeah, she's fine. But if you guys brought any alcohol drinks you need to put them in the cars. She can't be around them," he said slowly.

"What the hell why?" Said Juliet.

"I'll tell you guys a story. A sad one. Ry lost her brother because she called him about something, and she didn't realize that he was drunk, and another drunk driver hit him head on. He didn't make it, but he was out drinking because Kate found out she was pregnant, and he knew the child was his but then something happened between them. I guess from what I heard from Kate that Ry went drinking one night and got behind the car and wanted to die. But she stopped at the last minute and called her mom. Ry at the time was dealing with the loss of her brother, and Kate being pregnant and once Kate had her child, she left him with Ry and her mother. Until Damon turned two or something like that," CC told them.

"So, what was the reason for what she did a few days ago?" asked Andy.

"Those people at the bar we went to, they were people she knew, and her brother knew. I think one of them was her ex-boyfriend but I'm not sure. Two of her brother's friends stepped in and told them to back off."

"CC, has she tried killing herself before?" asked Ella.

"Yeah a few days ago, before the BBQ and her uncle had to make it worst for her because he brought up a topic that I got out from Ry about why she wanted to fine me, and my parents and she told me there was more, but she wanted to wait until she could trust me fully as a brother and a friend."

"What was one of her reasons for finding you?" Ask Jinxx.

CC didn't say anything, he stayed quiet. Then I heard Jake ask, "CC what is the reason because I would like to know."

"I already broke a promise to her, and I don't want to hurt her on breaking another promise can we just drop it." Asked CC.

"CC please tell us?" asked Sammi.

I then decided that I could tell the others. I opened my door to see CC cooking the rest of dinner and everyone was looking at me while I placed a blanket and a pillow on the love seat for Damon.

"Ry can you tell them what you told me?" Asked CC.

I took a deep breath and said, "Sure, but if Damon comes in that door, I can't say anything. But the one reason why I started to look for my birth family was because my mother who raised me has cancer, and I wanted to know my birth family when I found out I wasn't a match for someone close to me. The doctors told me then that I wasn't blood related to anyone in my family. I told my mother what happened, and my brother stopped talking to me. But I wanted to know my family and my mother wanted to know the people who were my birth family so that they could accept my mother, Kate and most of all Damon and me. I wanted to make sure if on some level they accepted me for who I am that they can accept Kate who I care deeply about as a sister and Damon who is my handsome little nephew."

Everyone was quiet until Jinxx spoke and said, "I can't understand everything you went through, but I can see where you're coming from. I mean it's been about a month since you knew of your birth parents and few weeks since you found out about CC, then you found out that he is in a band that is worldwide know. Also, you didn't really listen to our music until your brother died?"

I looked at Jinxx and said, "Yep. I knew black veil brides were a big deal to some people like my brother. He went to one of your shows and he said you guys rocked. About a week before he died, he played your guys music, and he made me watch music videos. I mean he was worse than my ex-boyfriend's little sister. She would make him listen to you guys and when I was around, she made me watch all the music videos and quiz me on who was who and who played what, who came into the band and when your guy's birthdays were. It was crazy. I was okay with it, but I always failed her test. Then she started to say that me and CC looked alike but at the time my hair was blonde, so I didn't believe her."

"Wait a minute, are you talking about Max and his little sister?" Called Kate as he walked through the door.

"Hey when did you get here?" I said to her when Damon ran over to me almost knocking me down.

"Just now. Little monster wanted to see his aunt because he thinks he won't see you again," said Kate.

CC walked over and said, "Food's done and conversation we just had can be finished after dinner, Kate I made enough for you and Damon."

"Cool. I brought some Tea, soda, and monsters over for everyone. Sorry about saying something about not alcohol, but I didn't want anything to happen to Ry. I mean she be around while in the bar, but in her own home it's more tempting."

"Cool, no problem," said CC.

When we all sat down I was next to Ashley, next to him was Andy and Juliet, and next to her was Jake, and the across from Ashley was Kate, Sammi and Ella sat next to Jinxx and Damon was next to Jinxx or something of that sort, but only I noticed that CC and Kate kept on looking at each other, and when I glanced at Ashley he would be watching me and looking away.

"Ry when do you get those bandages taken off?" asked Kate.

"These bandages for these goddamn damages?" I answered her using a line for a Hollywood Undead song.

"Ry I'm being serious here and stop quoting songs. When do you get them off?" Kate asked again trying not to laugh.

"Before I leave, that is if the doctors think I'm good to go, but I'm not going near the witch, I think I'll ask Max's mother since she's doctor." I spoke.

"Good." Said Kate and CC at the same time.

This was good for me. I got along with everyone, and Juliet warmed up to me being around. After I told her she had nothing to worry about me stealing her boyfriend from her, which everyone laughed about. Everything seemed normal. Maybe I am healing after everything that happened to me. Everyone got along great and of course the guys and their girls fell in love with Damon when he started to talk about random things. He already had Jake and Jinxx wanting to teach him how to play the guitar, violin, piano, and the drums. Just one thought crossed my mind was how awesome it would be if my brother was here and meeting black veil brides face to face and knowing that his little sister is the sister to the drummer that he liked the most out of all the bands that he used to listen to.
