Chapter 15

Ry's POV

It's been about two days since the talk I had with CC. Two days since the talk between me and Ash. Two days since Ash had kissed me and I kissed him back. Two days since I heard from Kate, Damon and my mother. I beginning to worry like crazy.

"Ry are you okay?" asked Andy.

I was sitting in my bunk looking down at my phone deciding whether I should call my mom and see what the hell was going on.

"I'm fine. Just thinking," I told him.

Andy looked at me and said, "Hey I know that you're worried about your family but maybe they just got busy."

I got up and looked at Andy and said, "I'm heading outside so I can call Kate and my mom. I'll be back."

I got off my bunk and walked out and off the bus. I checked the time, and it was only noon. After walking a block away from the tour bus, I called my mom. The phone rang and rang and then someone picked it up.

"This is Clare how can I help you?" Said my mother.

"Hey mom it's Ry. I was waiting for you to call me for about two days now, what's going on over there?" I asked her.

"Oh Ry, it's been heretic here. Some women came to talk to me, and she wanted a DNA test to be done on her daughter who is two years older than Damon. She's saying that your brother was with her before he got with Kate."

When she told me that I started thinking back to all the girls he's been with. And when I mean he, my brother who died, not my newly found brother who just happens to be in a famous rock band. Yet thinking about my dead brother and all of the girls and he didn't sleep with, but one of them stood out to me the most and I knew for a fact that he didn't sleep with her, and the only reason why I know is because my brother couldn't tell me a lie or keep a secret.

"Mom he never slept with anyone besides Kate. Remember Kate is the same age as me. She was my best friend before he asked her out. This girl is lying but if she wants a DNA test to be done with, only you would be able to do it. I don't have his DNA, but don't get your hopes up of having a granddaughter until you have the DNA done first," I told her.

"I know. I plan on it. But she's been coming over each day. Kate and Damon have been staying at your apartment and she's pissed but I told her no matter what that I'll love her as a daughter and Damon will always be my first grandchild."

"Okay mom. I'll give Kate a call and see how she's doing. But I was worried. Yet now I know what was going on. So, I'll talk to you later. Love you mom," I told her.

"Love you to baby girl."

When we hung up, I picked up my phone again and called Kate. After five minutes of calling her, she finally answered.

"Hey Ry, what's up," she asked with sadness filling her voice.

"I just talked with mom. I know what's going on, and just to let you know he never kept secrets from me. I knew who he slept with and who he didn't. Mom won't do a DNA test till I get home because she wants me there. Kate, I need you to play nice to this woman and let me know what she looks like and does for a living," I told her.
