Chapter 52

Chapter 52

Kat and I walked into the bank that's in town. We walked up to a teller and showed her the papers and the key. The lady looked up and said, "Miss Katie why doesn't you last name match up?"

"We were to be married and before we did, he passed away. Crystal here just found the paperwork last night. We didn't know anything about this," said Kat.

Just then I saw Liz, she walked over and said, "Mary I got this. Why don't you go on break."

When Mary was gone Liz looked at us and said, "About time you two came in to look at this. Now just sign here and here and follow me. He told me that if something were to happen before you two were married to use his last name along with your Katie. So do any of you guys know what he put away?"

"No, we don't Liz. I wish I knew what it was," I told her.

She led us into a room and took the keys and said, "He has three of them and paid for five years ahead. Which is good for us because pretty soon we would have to do something about it."

Liz took the keys and pulled out three boxes and set them on the table and said, "I'll leave you two then."

Once Liz was out of the room, I lifted the lid to one of the boxes and I saw money and a letter. Kat lifted the lid to the other two and there was a necklace I had broken after my father died, and other jewelry. Out of all three boxes there was only one letter. I picked up the letter and read it out loud.

"Dear Crystal, this is where I hide most of my money when I was working. Some of the things that I hid away for safe keeping. I kept the necklace that dad and I got you just before our baby sister died. Also, as you can tell I kept random papers and things in these boxes. Last time I asked one of the bank tellers to count the money I have over 900,000.00 in total. I'm sure there is more. Katie my love if you are reading his along with my sis, I'm sorry. But I hope that this could make up for me leaving the world if I left before our child was born. Take everything out of this box and use it. Move to LA with mom and Katie and our child. Make a new and better life. Also, Ry there is a ring in one of the boxes that I wanted to give to Katie, maybe she can keep it and give it to my child. I love you Ry, Katie, mom, and my child I never got to meet."

When I was done reading the letter out loud, I picked up the ring and noticed it was the one I helped him pick out. I turned it over and noticed that nothing was wrong with it. I looked at Katie and said, "Remember that day when you and he got into an argument, and we left for almost all day?"

Katie looked at me and said, "What about it?"

I sighed and said, "When you got into an argument over keeping the child, well he made up his mind and we went ring shopping. He was going to ask you when you guys find out if you were going to find out the sex of the baby. I forgot about it when he died."

Katie looked at me and said, "We'll keep the ring for Damon so when he falls in love and finds someone to marry, he'll already have a ring."

I agreed with her. We took everything out of the boxes and put them in our bags and closed the boxes up. Liz walked back in and said, "I see you cleaned them out. Do you want to close this up or let the money run though."

"Liz let them time run out and then close it up. If we need them, we'll stop by," I told her.

We walked out of the room and Ash walked over and took my bag and said, "What was that all about?"

"My brother set things up for us. Which Kat and I have decided what he set away for us, we'll place it at a bank in LA and keep it for Damon," I told them.

Cc smiled and said, "Well Max, Sally, and Ace wants us to come over for lunch, is that okay with you guys?"

I looked at Ash and he looked at me and said, "I guess we could do that. After all my birthday is around the corner and then its Ry's then the wedding and then we will be moving right after the wedding."

We got into Katie's car and drove over to Max's house. When we got there, Ash's cousin ran out of the house along with Max. When Max hugged me, he said, "I miss you sis. And Sally and I have something to tell you."

I eyed Max and said, "She's pregnant isn't she."

Max looked at me and said, "You and your damn sixth since."

"Sorry but It's not my fault. And besides you know that I can tell when things are off bro," I told him.

He smiled and said, "Well that's true. But hey you get to have a niece or nephew along with Kat's kid."

Kat glared at him and said, "Max you're forgetting I'm having another one."

Sally laughed when she came out to greet us. She looked at us and said, "Kat, Max is working for twins. He's just getting you going."

I hugged her and said, "Still he is right. Three of us pregnant at the same time. That's freaking crazy."

Sally hugged me back and said, "Well I think your brother would have been proud of you. Now Ry this is Ace, she's Ash's cousin. I'm sure you met her on video chat with Ash once."

I nodded my head. I looked at Ashe's cousin Ace and I couldn't believe that this was the girl that walked in on our conversation. Everything felt right and into place. I was with the love of my life, and I was happy.

Months went by and we all moved to California, and I was living with Ash. He had asked me to marry him, and I said yes. The baby we found out was going to be a girl, so I got my way with naming her. I was finally happy and reading to move on with everything. Alex was finally arrested before me moved and he was found guilty of raping another woman, this woman happened to be the daughter of a police officer. I was happy when I found out he was arrested and in jail for life.

I smiled as I felt arms wrapped around me as I placed my little girl into her crib for the night. I smiled when I felt Ash kiss my neck.

"Are you happy now?" Ash asked me.

I smiled and turned into his arms and said, "I'm happy. You made me happy from day one Ash. I loved you before I even knew you. I'm glad you're my only love."

He smiled and kissed my lips and said, "I'm going to miss you when me and the guys are gone for tour."

I laughed and said, "I'll be with Kate and her kids. I still can't believe she ended up with four kids. Three boys one little girl."

Ash laughed and said, "I'm glade Cc and her are happy. Now you my love shall we see if we can make another little one."

I laughed as Ash led me out of our daughter's room and into ours. I smiled knowing that I was finally happy. Truely happy.
