Chapter 8

CC's POV

After the BBQ we headed back to the hotel that we've been staying in for quite some time now. I looked at the guys and said, "What do you guys think of my newly found sister?"

I watched as each of them stopped what they were doing and Andy said, "She seems cool, but I know she has a lot going on right now. I guess what I am trying to say is that she doesn't act like you at all she's more clam and laid back."

Ash looked up and said, "Well I think she's pretty hot. But yeah, she does have problems and she seem kind of shy. But we still don't know a lot about her."

I thought about what Ash said and I knew he was right about her being shy and it's true that I didn't know too much about her, just what I've learned so far.

"Ash did you say my sister was hot?" I questioned him.

The guys went quiet. Ash looked up at me and walked over and said, "Yeah I like her, she's hot, Sexy and gorgeous. But I won't hurt her. I promise you that."

Jinxx looked at us and said, "CC Ash said that you wanted to talk to us?"

"Yeah, that's right. So, I was wondering if she could go on tour with us. I mean if it's okay with you guys and our manager?" I said to them.

Jake got up and pulled out his phone and said, "Because I've been quiet, I'll go and ask our manger since we don't have a merch girl and also, we have a bunk that is empty. And CC I think your sister is awesome. The only thing that you should do is try and stop her from cutting."

I nodded my head and took in what they all had said. That night I was awake in my bunk trying to think of a way to get her to be more open. I know it would be a lot of work, but she's open enough to tell me what the real reason was for finding me and my parents, though my parents were going to sue the hospital along with Ry's adoptive mother. I needed to get to know Ry and taking her with us on tour is the best that I could come up with since I'm on the road a lot.

The next day I got up and got dressed and headed out to Ry's mother's house. When I got there, I saw Damon outside playing in the yard. When I parked the car and got out, Dom came running over to me yelling, "Uncle CC."

"Hey little man, is your mother and grandmother home?" I asked him.

"Yep. Mommy is getting breakfast ready, and Aunt Ry and grandma are in the kitchen talking," he said in his cute little boy's voice.

Damon ran up to the door and I followed him inside. When I got in, I saw Ry, she didn't look too good. I walked over and said, "Hey sorry for walking in but this little monster let me in. Hope that's okay?"

"It's fine. After all you are Ry's brother, so I'll think of you as my son now. I'm happy Ry has found her true family but sad that she did it when I'm not well," said Clare.

"It's fine Clare. Ry told me that you had cancer. I'm sorry that you must go through with that," I told her after Damon walked into the living room and watched cartoons on the tv.

"CC its fine. And thank you for not freaking out on Ry's reasons for getting up the courage to find you and your family," said Clare.

"No problem. The reason why I stopped by, I was wondering if maybe Ry would like to come on tour with me and my band. We're touring in the states, and I think one show in Canada, but I wanted to get to know Ry and introduce her to our fans, but she doesn't have to come with us if she decides not to," I said nervously.

I watched Ry looking at her mother, and Clare looked at her daughter and said, "You should go. I'll be fine here. Damon will be okay. Kate can take care of him now. So, you should go and get to know your brother, plus your classes ended the other day at the college. So go have fun, try and meet a boy, and give me some grandkids so Damon will have a little cousin he can protect."

Ry laughed at the end of her mother's speech and said, "Fine I'll go as long you promise me that you, Kate, and Damon Skype me, Facetime me, Message me, and Call me every day at least five times. And you have to tell me if something goes wrong with either you, Kate, or Damon, no if ands or buts about it."

"I promise you that," said Clare.

Damon walked in and said, "Where is Aunt Ry going?"

Kate walked over to him and said, "She's going on a little trip with her brother. She'll be back and you get to use my computer to call on Skype as much as you want."

Damon smiled and said, "But I want her to go, and I don't at the same time. Who's going to protect her if some bad person tries to hurt her again?"

I was confused when he said some bad person and the word again. I looked up at Ry and noticed that she looked away, and when I turned to Kate, she looked at Ry and said, "Ry you need-"

"Don't worry Kate. I'll tell him later, but not in front of Damon," Ry said.

I looked at Clare and she seemed deep in thought, then I spoke up and looked at Damon who was sitting in my lap and said, "Damon I promise that I won't let anyone hurt your aunt. If someone does, I'll beat their little behinds until they say they are sorry. I promise I'll protect Ry as much as I can while she's with me on tour."

Damon smiled and said, "Thank you uncle CC. But can I call and talk to you to, so I know Ry's not lying about something?"

Oh, that little smile of his and the looks that he gives when he means business. I looked at him and said, "I promise you."

"Fine I'll go. So, when do we leave?" Ry asked me.

I looked up at her and said, "Next week. So, get packed and make sure you have enough clothes to last for about a month and a half, and you can always buy more on the road."

She nodded her head as Kate walked back over to the table with breakfast with an extra plate for me. Yay I got some yummy food. I started to eat as my eyes kept wandering over to Kate. She smiled at me, and I just smiled back at her.
