Chapter 28

RY's POV

I froze and thought, then I went and told him everything that happened. When I looked away from him, I heard the door open and shut. I didn't need to know that it was Ash who had walked out on me. I turned and asked CC and Kat for some time alone. CC wanted to stay with me and talk to me, but I didn't need to hear about anything.

After I was alone and calmed enough, I packed my bags and left the room and the hotel without letting anyone know. I walked the quiet streets till I found a motel and got a room for the night. I walked into the room and looked around and noticed that it was small, a bathroom on the one side, a bed, a tv, and that was it besides the lights.

I made sure that everything was locked up. I didn't want anyone to find me. But I was scared, I was all alone in Canada by myself, and I wasn't sure if I should go back or just get a flight home. I didn't even check my phone. I took out my iPod and started to listen to music and slowly fell asleep from everything that happened today. I knew today was a bad one and tomorrow I might as well go home since I'm sure no one wants to see me.

Ash's POV

I walked out when Ry was done telling me about what happened to her. I was pissed that I needed to go for a walk. I left the room and the hotel, and I just kept walking. I didn't know where I was walking, I just let my feet do all the walking.

As I was walking, I saw couples of all ages holding hands, families walking with each other. Everyone looked happy and it seemed as if they trust each other. I found a bench and sat down and just thought. I didn't know how long I was there when this elderly couple sat down next to me, and the women looked up at me and said, "Is everything okay young man?"

"I'm not sure anymore," I told her truthfully.

I don't know why I told her that. But I felt like I could trust them.

"May leave it be. He doesn't want to hear what we have to say." said her husband.

"Oh, Tom stop it. You were his age when you were a player as the young ones call it," she said.
