In few moments we were at Churni's door... "look at the book shelf.." I whispered.... Mayukh followed my finger. And his eyes widened seeing those wrapped gifts... "she didn't unwrap them.." his surprised whisper came... "did you care??" I tried being sarcastic...!!! "of coarse I do....!!! I gifted her all these in 'bhaiphota' (BHAIDUJ).." he crushed my palm in excitement... "no Mayu.. you didn't gift her... you were just doing your duty, that too because you were compelled.." I stated him the fact... a tear rolled down his cheek... I smiled.. and knocked the door...

"Boudimon.... chhorda... (CHOTE BHAIYA)" Churni was shocked to see her brother at her doorsteps after 5 years... yes.. 5 long years... but immediately she turned back... Mayukh looked at me... I chirped pretty loudly... "what??? Your sister... you handle.... you want to talk??? You don't need a mediator okay..???" and pushed him into her room...

"churni..." his shaky voice came... "Chhor da.. please.. I had enough of your taunts... no place for new ones... go away.. shooo..." Churni chipped...!!! "I am sorry..." he told... aah.. finally... finally... my dear darling hubby was chipping something right..!!! but his sorry came as a second shock to her...!! well... had to be...!!! after all.. I headed back to my room... as I heard their muffled sobs... I was very happy... finally I could at least do something for my sweet sister-in-law...

I made the bed and lied down... a smile was there all the time... I felt so good.. so complete... not just that he had spoke with churni... but he listened to me..!!! oh yes.. I felt... I am important to him.. more than his ego...!!!

After a good 40 minutes.. I heard the door click open... I closed my eyes...and as expected... felt his lips on my toe...!! I sat up..!!! he settled beside me engulfing me... "thank you.." he kissed my palms...I closed my eyes...and slowly my hands made their way to his chest.. I leaned in as his lips brushed my ears... "good night..." he chipped.. I looked at him in surprise....no no.. I don't mean I wanted him right then.. but still.. was expecting something more than just this good night..!!! gosh... !! he is so unexpected..!!!

"I yet have 15 days to join.." he smirked... hain?? How does that come now..!!! I gave him a confused look... he smiled devishly..!!! "so wait for the honeymoon baby... I will make you scream loud..." he winked... "shameless..!!!" was all I managed to utter...!!!
