"I thought you liked me." He said it with a sulky expression.

Whhhaaaaaatttttttttt???

I do.

But I couldn't respond to that statement, so I remained silent. We didn't talk much for the rest of the lunch.

He paid the bill, grabbed my hands, and took me to his car. This feeling was different. Not like the usual handholding between friends. This touch brought a butterfly feeling to my stomach.

During our ride back to school, we had a casual conversation.

"Where did you do your degree?" He asked, to which I said, "Aasaash College of Women."

"Oho! You are from a women's college? That's why you are too shy for everything." He grinned.

Yes! I am too shy for everything, and that's not wrong.

"I can't read your thoughts. So it would be much better if you spilled out your thoughts a bit." He said it with a tiny hint of annoyance on his face.

"Nothing." I always do this with almost everyone. I generally take so much time to get closer. Even talking to a new person feels like a huge task for me.

But he is the exact opposite of me. He is an extrovert who takes just a few minutes to mingle. He casually uttered the words that will take forever for me to tell. He is different from me, and I loved it.

"Is this the way you behave with everyone, or am I any special?" He asked with a puzzled look on his face.

"Yes. I am always like this."

"I wanted me to be the special one. The only one to whom you act shy all the time." He said.

I smiled for it, and I didn't utter anything.

We reached the parking lot of our school, which was tucked in the corner of the campus.

Thank God for this corner location so that no one could see us.

Once he turned off the engine of the car, I took my wallet and opened the door.

Boooommm

The door of our car collided with the nearby car's door. A guy came out of the car with anger rushing through his veins.

He stared through the window and signaled to open the window, but in a hurry, I opened the doors instead.

He dodged and gave a deadly stare. I couldn't figure out what to do, so I just came out of the car. He took a step forward and stumbled on my 6-meter saree. Just to avoid him falling right on me, I placed my hands on his left chest, which was covered with an elegant white shirt.

He took a moment to process everything, but I took forever. So, he took a step back to take his chest away from my hands.

"What's his name?" He asked in an authoritative tone.

"I am..." The Romeo tried to save me, but the white shirt didn't allow it.

"You talk!" He pointed at me.

I took a minute to open my mouth and murmured, "I don't know his name."

"Whhhaaaaaatttttttt?"
