Fun,boring, and clever

*Chad POV*
I wake up the next day and the power is still out. I turn the tv off just so when the power does come on it doesn't blare. Fallon and Alex are still asleep. I can't really get up to make breakfast since Alex is on my lap asleep. I sit there for a while and then my phone rings.
Ch-hey Caleb
Ca-hey did your power turn on yet
Ch-no did yours
Ca-yeah
Ch-what about Alan or Joey
Ca-I didn't call Joey because he's probably still asleep and Alan said his wasn't
Ch-okay well Alex and Fallon are both still asleep
Ca-alright. And the reason the power went out an might still be out for a lot if people is because there was a major accident and some of the lines came down
Ch-ooh ok
I hang up and Alex starts waking up. She looks like she's feeling better.
"How are you feeling" I ask
She gives me a thumbs up.
"Good" I say
I was going to make a hot breakfast but some the powers out I can't. Wait Caleb has power.
Ch-we should all have a hot breakfast at your house
Ca-why mine
Ch-you're the only house with power
Ca-true. Let Alan know then come over
Ch-okay. We'll get Joey too
Ca-good
Ch-do you want us to bring anything
Ca-no it's fine
Ch-okay well we might bring ice cream
Ca-wonderful
I put my phone away and go to wake Fallon up.
"Babe it's time to get up. We're having breakfast al Caleb and Kelsey's" I say
"Ok" she says
Alex comes down and then Fallon does. We get in the car. I send a quick text to Alan telling him breakfast is at Caleb's then I go to Joey's. I park in his driveway then go to his front door. I open the door and he's on the couch doing something.
"Joe whatcha doin" I ask
"Watching the little mermaid" he says
"Did you really grab your iPad and watch movies all night because the power went out" I ask
"Pretty much" he says
"Well we're having breakfast at Caleb's if you want to come" I say
"Will you give me a ride" he asks
"Sure. I'm leaving in five minutes" I say
I go to the car and wait. Joey finally comes and gets in the back sit. We go to Caleb's. Once we get there we go in.
"Hey Caleb" Alex says
"Hey kid" he says
"We brought ice cream" I say
"Ooh ice cream. Daddy can I have some" AJ says
"Not yet wait till breakfast is ready" he says
"Alex come here" I say
She comes over to me.
"When did the doctor say you were allowed to talk" I ask
"Tomorrow" she says
"Exactly but I guess you can talk now because it seems as if your throat doesn't hurt anymore" I say
"Thanks Chaddy" she says
"No problem sassy" I say
"Guys the 49ers are beating the ravens" Caleb says
"What they are" I say
"Yeah" he says
"That's not cool" I say
"I know not hush so I can watch this" he says
I go out to the living room and sit on the floor.
*Alex POV*
I go outside and lay in the grass. I put my earbuds in and listen to my music. Later on I see Alan next to me. I pull one of my earbuds out.
"Hey al" I say
"Hey al whatcha doin out here by yourself" he asks
"Nothing" I say
"Sure looks like something" he says
"Thinking, listening to music" I say
"What are you thinking about" he asks
"This wonderful dream I had" I say
"Well what was it about" he asks
"Me you and the guys were sucked into the Mario kart world and Caleb had this crazy idea of us all racing each other. What he didn't know was that real life racing is harder than video game racing. We all teamed up on him and he came sixth" I say
"Wait there's only five of us" Alan says
"Exactly. That's what I thought was weird" I say
"That is a pretty awesome dream" he says
"Wait there were six. Some random person was playing." I say
"Ok then" he says
"Yep" I say
"Breakfast is ready" Joey says
"Ok" we say
We go inside and to the table. Alan says a prayer then we eat.
"Alex you should tell Caleb the dream" Alan whispers to me
"Not right now" I say
"What do it now where everyone can laugh at his expression." He says
"Fine" I say
"Everyone Alex has something to share" Alan says
"This I mostly about Caleb" I say
"Alex don't tell me this is one of your weird Mario kart dreams" Chad says
"It is" I say
"Wait yes I'm not the only one who dreams about Mario kart" Caleb says
"Wait I wasn't suppose to tell you" he says
"Ok so me and the guys_ Caleb don't you dare correct my grammar_ were fooling around and playing Mario kart when we got sucked into the game. Of course Caleb got this crazy idea of racing each other. What he didn't know is that real life racing is harder than video game racing. We all teamed up on him and well he got sixth out of five because he never made it twelve feet past start" I say
"Hey that is so not fair" Caleb whines
"Sorry I don't control my dreams" I say
"I finally beat Caleb at Mario kart" Joey says
"Alex that was a wonderful dream" Chad says
We continue eating and sharing stories. Once we're done we go to the living room.
"Hey Alex I'm going to take Fallon home and then come back. Are you going to stay or come with" Chad asks
"Stay" I say
"Alright" he says
He leaves and I go and sit in the floor next to Joey. I lean my head on his shoulder.
"Hey darling" he says
"Hey Joe" I say
"What's wrong" he asks
"Nothing I'm just tired" I say
"Alright then" he says
Hmm I forgot to tell Chad something very important. I'll tell him later. Or I'll text him now.
A-hey Chad when I moved in with you I forgot to tell you something
C-what
A-I can't have cheese, ice cream, or milk. The only type of milk I can have is almond milk
C-wait so your basically lactose intolerant
A-yeah but I can have yogurt
C-oh that is good to know. Now you, me, and Joey can suffer together
A-I totally forgot Joey was lactose intolerant
C-hahaha well I'm on my way back to Caleb's. a technician was fixing the power so it should be on in like 3 hours
A-yeah
I put my phone away and see Joey looking over my shoulder.
"Snoop" I say
"Hey I'm sorry if I was trying to find something I could use against Chad" he says
"Whatever" I say
"Yeah. Nice job forgetting about me. You're just like your brother" he pouts
"Come on Joey I know you're faking" I say
"You're right. I could never get mad at you. Well maybe I could" he jokes
"Thanks bub" I say
"No prob sis" he says
"You're so weird. I can't believe I hang with you people" I say
"You love us" he says
"No I don't" I say
"Caleb, Alan, did you hear what she said about us" he asks
"Sure did Joe what are we going to do about it" Alan says
"I know" Caleb says
They group together and I get up and go outside. Chad is just getting here so I go over to him.
"What up sissy" he says
"They're after me" I say
"Who" he asks
"The guys" I say
"Why" he asks
"I told them that I didn't love them" I say
"Eh they should learn to toughen up. What are they doing right now" he asks
"Planning my death" I say
"Ok well I'm going to watch a movie in the living room if you want to join me" he says
"I'm going to lock myself in your car" I say
"Do you realize I have the keys" he says
"Not anymore" I say grabbing the keys and locking myself in the car
I turn the car on and put the windows down a little bit. I then turn the car off.
"Alexandra Marie Graham You Are In So Much Trouble" Chad yells
"Ok" I say
*Chad POV*
I go into the house and join the guys.
"Ok I'm in with whatever you do to Alex. She locked herself in my car and stole the keys." I say
"Wow she's feisty" Joey says
"Eh I can take her. I just need to unlock the car door" I say
"Wait didn't you make a third copy of the car key and put it somewhere" Alan says
"Yeah. Caleb where did I put it" I ask
"Um I think you placed it in the cabinet in the bathroom" he says
"Ok I'll be right back" I say
I go to the bathroom and grab the key. I go back out to the guys. We leave the house and go to the car. Alex isn't paying attention. She's too busy looking at her phone and doing something. We find it out when our phones make noise.
Ale-I know all your tricks. You can't torture me. I know all your weaknesses
Ala-wow impressive
Ch-eh I don't care sis I know your weaknesses too
Ca-I don't care I just need to get you for when you used improper grammar
J-I'm just doing it because I have nothing better to do
We put our phones away and I unlock the car. We each open a door. I get in on the driver side and close the door.
"Hi sis" I say
"Chad how? I have your key" she says
"I hid a spare at Caleb's and also at all the guys house. We do it with each of our car keys." I say
"Ok well it's just us" she says
"Hiya" the guys say
Oh boy I'm dead" she says
"Alex we would never kill you" Alan says
"I say we get cheese less pizza" Joey says
"I agree with him" Alex says
"Yes" I say
"We want cheese" Alan and Caleb says
"Go by yourselves then" I say
"We will" they say
They get out then I start the vehicle and we go to little Cesar's. we go in and order out pizza. We get it then go to a picnic table outside.
"This is great pizza" Alex says
"Totally" I say
"I haven't had pizza forever because mom and dad never wanted cheese less pizza" Alex says
"I feel so bad for you" Joey says
"Me too" I say
We finish eating our pizza and get back in the car.
"Joe do you want me to drop you off at your house or back at Caleb's" I ask
"Don't care" he says
I drop him off at his house then go home. We go in and the power is back on. Yippee!
"Chad can we go throw a frisbee" Alex asks
"I don't want to" I whine
"Please" she pleads
"Nooo" I say
"Yessss" she says
"Nope" I say
"Fine. I'll get the guys to play with me" she says
"Ok" I say

*Alex POV*
I send a text to the guys about playing frisbee.
Ale-chad is being a meanie and won't throw the frisbee with me. Do any of you want to
C-I'll come. Tell Chad that he's boring
Ala-can't come I have to take AJ and Presley to this party at a bounce house place
J-I'll come
I put my phone away and walk up to Chad. I look him straight in the eyes.
"Alex move I'm watching tv" he says
"No. Caleb said you're boring" I say
"Ok. Now can you move out of the way" he says
"Yeah. I'm gonna be out front waiting for Caleb and Joey to show up to throw the frisbee" I say
"Ok" he says
I go out front and sit on the porch. They show up five minutes later.
"Hey kiddo" Caleb says
"Hey guys. I told Chad that he was boring. He didn't seem to care" I say
"Okay well lets throw the frisbee" Caleb says
We go outback and throw the frisbee some. Then Chad comes out and joins us. We play some more then the two leave and we go in for dinner. After we're done eating we watch a few movies. By 11 o'clock I start to fall asleep on the couch.
"Alex I think you should head to bed" Chad says
"I'm not tired" I say
"Alex you're falling asleep on the couch" he says
"I don't want to go to bed" I whine
"See you're already getting crabby" he says
He comes over to me and picks me up. He carries me up to my room and lays me down on my bed.
"Sleep well sassy" he says
"You to bubba" I say
"Go to sleep" he says
"Ok" I say
He leaves and I fall asleep. This was a good day.
