*Chad POV*
It's been one month since the accident. I haven't left her side. I only eat if the guys or Fallon bring me food. She should wake up soon since its been a month but even now the doctor said maybe a couple more weeks till she does. I'm snapped out of my thoughts with a knock on the door.
"Come in" I say
Joey comes in and sits in the other chair.
"What's up" I ask
"Chad you should go home and get actual sleep" he says
"No I can't leave her" I say
"I will say here and you go home and sleep for a few hours. I will call if she wakes up" he says
"I guess I'll go home and take a long shower since I haven't had a true one in a while. Then I'll come back" I say
"No you will then go to sleep" he says
"Fine" I say
I give Alex a quick kiss on her forehead and walk to the door.
"Promise you'll call me" I ask
"Yes Chad now go" he says
"Ok ok I'm going" I say
I leave the hospital and get in my car. I drive home and go inside.
"Hey Chad. Did Joe get there" Fallon asks
"Yeah" I sigh
"Chad you can't spend you're whole time at the hospital" she says
"I know. Now I'm gonna get a shower and sleep for a bit" I say
"Ok" she says
I go upstairs and take my shower. After the shower I get in bed and fall asleep.
*Joey POV*
As I'm sitting here a nurse comes in.
"Did Chad finally agree to go home" she asks
"Yeah. I'm one of his band partners and friends" I say
"Well hello. I'm Caroline" she says
"I'm Joey" I say
"Okay well it looks like Alex is progressing a lot more and should be waking up today or tomorrow." She says
"Thanks" I say
She leaves and I grab Alex's hand.
"Alex please wake up. Do it for Chad and Peyton. Yes Peyton still loves you. He comes a lot to see you and see if you have woken up. Chad is really sad and not his usual kill Joey mode. We need you. Peyton needs you. Chad needs you around. He can't lose both of his sisters. Please wake up" I whisper.
"Joey" I hear someone say
*Alex POV*
All I see is black. But I hear this voice. It's Joey. He's saying that Peyton still loves me. Chad is a mess without me around. I need to wake up for them. I try and open my eyes. I can't. I try once more and I'm blinded by this light. After awhile my eyes adjust. I see Joey sitting there in the chair.
"Joey" I say
He looks down at me and smiles. I smile a small smile back to him.
"Hey. How are you feeling" he asks
"I have a headache. And I don't know about anything else my hand feels numb" I say
"Ok I'll go get a nurse or doctor and tell them" he says
He walks off and comes back a little later with a nurse.
"I'll be back. I'm going to call Chad" Joey says
"Ok" I say
*Chad POV*
I'm awoken from my sleep by my phone ringing. I look at the time and see that I only slept for 20 minutes.
C-hey Joe
J-hey I have some news
C-tell me it's good news because if not I'm ripping your head off for waking me up
J-it's not good ne-
C-JOSEPH!
J-chad let me finish. It's amazing news!
C-well what is it
J-Alex woke up
C-oh my gosh yes. I'll be there soon. Can you call the guys and see if they can bring Peyton with
J-yeah. Bye
C-bye
I hang up and put my shoes. One I go downstairs and get my keys.
"Did Alex wake up" Fallon asks
"Yeah" I say
I run out to the car and drive to the hospital. I get there and go up to her room. I knock on the door then enter.
"Hey sis how are you" I ask
"Hi Chad. I'm ok. I'm just tired" she says weakly
"Ok get some rest. I'll be here when you wake up" I say
"Ok" she yawns
She lays down and falls asleep.
"Thx bro for letting me know" I tell Joey
"No problem" he says
"So do you know anything about her wrist or arm" I ask
"Yeah they say that they can't do anything about it. It needs to heal on its own. They'll take the stitches out in a few weeks though" he says
"Ok great. Did you call the guys" I ask
"No" he says
"I'll text them" I say
"Ok well I'm gonna go. Donald is sick and needs me to get him some stuff from the store" he says
"Okay see ya" I say
He leaves and I pull out my phone.
Ch-Alex woke up.
A-fantastic
P-yeah! I can't wait to see my girl
C-Peyton chill down her brother is here
Ch-I'm his brother too
A-whatever. We'll b there soon
I put my phone away and Alex is awake from sleeping.
"Did you sleep well" I ask
"Yeah" she says
"Ok well the other guys and Peyton will be here soon" I say
"Wait Peyton still loves me" she asks
"He always has. He came a lot to see if you woke up. I had to force him to leave sometimes" I say
"Oh. I can't wait to see everyone again" she says
"Yeah I know you can't" I laugh
A few minutes later the guys and Peyton come in.
"Hey guys" I say
"Hey Chad and Alex" they say
They go over and talk with Alex a bit and I go into the hall. I sit on the floor and lean my back against the wall. I have no clue when I should open the letter with her. I'm worried about what might be in there. As I'm thinking I feel someone touch my shoulder. I look up and see Alan. He sits down next to me.
"What's up Chad" he asks
"Our parents gave me this letter and told me to wait to open it with Alex when I think the time is right. I'm afraid to see what's in the letter. I want to open it when you guys leave." I say
"Chad it can't be that bad. If it is we're all here to support you two" he says
"Yeah I know we have you guys but I'm still worried because if it is something bad I'm not sure how Alex is going to react" I say
"Chad you can't let this worry you. God has this all in control" he says
"Thanks Alan" I say
"No problem. We're going to head out" he says
"Ok" I say
We go back in the room and the guys and Peyton leave. I grab my back pack that I brought off the floor and put it on the chair. I unzip it and take the letter out.
"Alex, mom handed me a letter at some point and told me to wait for the right time to open it. I think now is the right time." I say
"Ok" she says
I sit down on the edge of the bed and open the envelope. I take the letter out and read it aloud.
"Dear Chad and Alex,
At this point your dad and I are dead and so is Gabby. They're are a few things you should know. To start off Alex isn't blood related. We adopted her when she was one month. Her real name is Alexandra Marie Jackson. Her dad died a little after she was put up for adoption and her mom died shortly after giving birth to her. Another thing is that Gabby didn't kill herself. She tried to but we stopped her. Alex's uncle aimed for Alex because he wasn't allowed to have guardianship over her so he was getting revenge. The thing is he missed his target and shot Gabby. Alex, you didn't see him because you were paying attention to Gabby. Lets see here what else should I tell you? Chad, your father at one point wanted to send you away to a boarding school but I didn't let him. At another point Chad tried to ship Alex away to another place. I caught him putting Alex in a box with air holes and starting to tape it. I guess that's all I really have to say. I love you so much and so does your father.

Wow I can't believe all this.
"Wow so I'm not blood related to you and you tried to get rid of me" Alex says
"Hey it's not my fault mom had me watch you" I say
"I love you Chad even if I'm not related to you" she says
"I love you too but I will always think of you as a blood related sister. I'm also happy that Gabby didn't kill herself but depending on where your uncle is we'll have to protect you" I say
"Chad please don't be over protective" she pleads
"I'll try not to but I don't want you to get hurt. When you were in your coma I never left your side" I say
"Chad did you at least eat" she asks
"Yeah. The guys and Fallon brought me food" I laugh
"Ok good" she laughs
"Hey do you know when you leave" I ask
"I'm not sure but I hope it's soon" she says
"Same. I'll go talk with a doctor" I say
She nods and I walk out of the room. I find a doctor and go over to him.
"Hi do you by any chance know when my sister Alexandra Graham is able to leave" I ask
"Everything seems fine so she can leave now" he says
"Thank you" I say
I go back to Alex's room and see her on my phone.
"How did you get my phone" I ask
"You left it in here and I know your pass code" she says
"How" I say
"Simple I made a list of those you love then narrowed it down to 4 letters. The ones I had left were Alex, Alan, Joey, Chad" she says
"I do love myself" I say
"Yeah well then I narrowed it down to who helps you a lot. Those are Joey and me." She says
"Ok so who's the winner" I ask
"Well I found the answer really weird that it wasn't me or Joey. Then I thought 'wait you like to make fun of Joey' so you probably did something like that. The final answer is Joet" she says
"Wow that was impressive" I say
"Why thank you" she says
"Come on get dressed then we can leave" I say chucking clothes at her
"Ok" she laughs
I walk out of the door chuckling. A few minutes later she comes out.
"Ready" I ask
"Yep. Are we going to tell everyone that I'm adopted" she asks
"Yeah. Why don't we go and meet up with them somewhere and tell them all the things mom told us in the letter" I say
"Ok" she says
We go out to the car and I hand Alex my phone.
"Can you text the guys and ask them to meet us at Starbucks" I ask
*Alex POV*
"Sure" I say
Ch-meet me and Alex at Starbucks have something to tell you
A-alright
C-I'll be there
J-already here
Ch-why
J-I've been taking care of Donald because he's sick and I was bored so decided to come to starbucks
Ch-ok
I put Chad's phone in my pocket and turn the radio up.
"Alex where's my phone" he asks
"In my pocket. You can't have it while you're driving" I say
"Fine" he whines
We get to Starbucks and I run inside. I find the guys and cling onto Caleb's arm.
"Hey Alex what's wrong" Alan asks
"I have Chad's phone and I won't give it back. Also he's mad I know his pass code for his phone" I say
"And what might that be" Joey asks
"I can't tell you" I say
"Dang it" he says
"Alexandra Graham" I hear Chad say
"Yes bubby" I ask
"Can I please have my phone" he asks
I sigh and give it to him. He sits down and I sit down next to him.
"So what's up" Caleb asks
"I'm adopted" I say
"Really" Alan asks
"Yep" Chad says
"Wow so what's your last name before you were adopted" Caleb asks
"Jackson" I say
"Wait so are you related to Chuck Jackson" Joey asks
"I'm not sure. Who is he" I ask
"He escaped jail a couple weeks ago" Joey says
"Chad what if he's my uncle" I whisper
"I'm not sure but if it is then he's going to come after you" he whispers back
"What's wrong" Caleb asks
"My uncle was the one who killed Gabby. He aimed for me but hit a gabby." I say
"Oh so you're afraid that if he is your uncle he will come after you" Joey asks
"Yeah" I say
"We'll protect you" Alan says
"I know you guys will and I love you for that" I say
"We love you too" Chad says
I lean my head on his shoulder and he puts his arm around me.
"You ok sis" he asks
"Mhm" I say
"Tired?" he asks
"Mhm" I say
"Guys we're going to head out because Alex is tired" Chad says
"Ok see ya" Alan says
"Bye guys" Joey says
"Peace out" Caleb says
"Bye" I mumble
Chad and I stand up and go to the car. As soon as we get home I go up to my room and fall asleep.
*Police POV*
"Guys we need to find this guy Chuck. He shot Gabriela Graham but that wasn't who his aim was on. His aim was on his niece who is no longer a Jackson but was adopted by the Graham's. we need to let them know soon and protect them and anyone else who they are in close contact with" the chief says
"Yes sir we understand but it's not going to be easy because she lives with Chad Graham her brother and he's in a band so it's hard to keep them in watch" some one says
"I know so that just means we need to select some of you as body guards till we find Chuck and we need to find him fast" the chief says again
We all nod in agreement.
"Puppet I need you to call Chad Graham and talk with him about meeting up with me and you and his band mates and Alex to talk about this" the chief says
"Yes sir" I say
I walk off to an office and call Chad Graham.
*Chad POV*
I'm in the middle of watching my third princess movie when my phone rings. I turn the tv off and answer it.
C-hello
P-hello is this Chad Graham
C-yes who is this
P- my name is Polly but most people call me Puppet. I am from the police department.
C-ok how can I help you
P-I'm afraid that a guy named Chuck Jackson is in search of your sister Alex. We would like to meet with her, you, and your band members very soon
C-um can I call then then get back to you
P-yes and please call this number
C-ok bye
P-bye and remember sooner is safer
I hang up and text the guys.
Ch-the police want to meet with us and Alex about protection from her uncle
A-I can do whenever
C-same
J-tomorrow is best because my mom is coming in a few days
Ch-ok so I'll tell him tomorrow at 10 am
A,J,C- that works
I end the text and call him back.
P-hello Chad. What did they say
C-they can do tomorrow at 10 in the morning
P-ok me and my chief will see you at the station then
C-thank you and have a good night
P-you too
I hang up and go upstairs to bed. Fallon took Chase and they're visiting her mom for a few weeks so it's just me and Alex for awhile. As I'm falling asleep I feel someone climb into the bed. I look over and see Alex.
"What's wrong Alex" I ask
"My uncle Chuck tried to kill me in my dream" she says
"It's okay. I'm right here. Now go to sleep" I say
"I can't Chad. He ruined me every time I close my eyes I see him." She says
"Alex you need sleep." I say
"I can't" she says
"How about we watch a movie" I say
"Can we watch descendants" she asks
"I don't care" I say
She takes the remote and turns to the movie. Halfway through she falls asleep and I turn the tv off and fall asleep next to her.

*Alex POV*
I feel someone shaking me so I wake up. I look to see Chad standing at the foot of the bed.
"What time is it" I mumble
"9. We have to go to a meeting at 10" he says
"Ugh fine" I say
I get up and go to my room. I pick out my clothes and get dressed. I go downstairs and see the guys and Chad eating breakfast.
"Didn't you three eat breakfast at your own houses" I ask
"Yeah but we're still hungry" Caleb says
I go to the kitchen and grab a yogurt, granola and other things and make myself some breakfast. Once I'm done eating I join the guys in the living room.
"When are we leaving" I ask
"Now" chad says
"I call shot gun" Joey and I yell
"How about I get shotgun and you drive" I say
"No Alan already told Caleb he could drive" Joey pouts
"Well you can have shotgun and Alan can sit all the way in the back" I say
"No way little missy. You're crawling in back" Alan says
"No I'm sitting with my brother" I say
"Nope Alex you are sitting in back" Chad says
I huff and go in back. Caleb drives to the police station and everyone gets out.
"Why are we here" I ask
"The chief and one of the officers wants to meet with us" Chad says
We go in and see the chief standing there.
"Hello sir I'm Chad Graham. This is my sister Alex and my band mates Alan, Caleb, and Joey" Chad says
"Hello my name is Chief pop" the chief says
"I'm puppet one of the head officers" an officer says
We follow them to a room. We all sit down around the table. I'm in between Joey and Chad.
"Ok so we brought you here today to talk about Chuck Jackson. She's Alex's uncle." Pop says
"Ok" Chad says
"We have a feeling he is going after Alex. He escaped jail and he is going to go after her and anyone who is close with her" puppet says
"How do we deal with him" I ask
"We want to put you five in a protection program." Puppet says
"What is that" I ask
"You guys stay at a hotel for a couple weeks or till we find him. We give each of you a body guard. That body guard will drive you places, keep an eye on you to make sure you don't get near anyone who you don't know or who try's to harm you guys" pop says
"What about our wives and my girls" Alan asks
"They'll go with you guys to the hotel. And Chad I've heard that your wife and son are away so we'll make sure they are protected" Puppet says
"Thank you" Chad says
"Alright so it's time for you guys to meet your body guards." Pop says
"Panda, pickle, and pogo. Get in here" puppet calls
"Alright panda you will be watching out for the Powell's and take pillow with you" Pop says
"Pickle. You are looking after the Grimm's. take them to the hotel and show them their room." Puppet says
"Pogo you get Mr. Stamper" pop says
They all leave and it's just me, Chad, Pop, and Puppet.
"Why do all your nicknames start with p's" I ask
"Because we think it's easier then remembering everyone else's names and they sound cooler" puppet says
"Ok now Puppet you are going to look over these two. You can't let then out of you sight. Take panther with you to watch them. But you need to stay with Alex. You ain't let her get hurt" Pop says
"Will do Chief. Panther get here now" Puppet says
A guy runs in and states at puppet. "you are going to be the body guard of Chad graham but these two will be together since they're siblings" puppet says
"Yes puppet I understand. Who's vehicle are we taking" panther asks
"We'll take the company's limo" puppet says
We walk out to the limps and get in. They take us to outlet house so we can pack some things. We pack then go to the hotel. They check us in and we go up to the room. Puppet gives Chad a room key and keeps the other's.
"Ok you guys have a joint room with Joseph stamper and then Caleb and Alan have a joint room." Puppet says
"Thank you puppet" I say
"Your welcome Alex" he says
"I'm gonna go take a nap Chad" I say
"Ok" he says
I go to a room in the suite and fall asleep.
