Court room and hazelnuts

(Friday, court day)
*Chad POV*
We have to go to court today at 7:30. It's 6:30 right now and Alex is still asleep. I grab 2 pots and go upstairs. I start banging them and Alex sits up.
"Chadwick Matthew Graham what do you need" she grumbles
"Time to wake up we need to leave in twenty minutes" I say
"Chad I want to sleep" she whines
"If you get up now we'll stop at Starbucks" I say
"Ooh I'm up five me five minutes" she says
I walk out of the room chuckling.
"What's up Chad" Fallon asks
"Alex didn't want to wake up so I told her we'd go to starbucks. She woke up right away" I say
"She definitely acts like Caleb" she says
"Yeah maybe we should just ship her over there and give Caleb a taste of his medicine" I say
"chad stop that is mean. You should be ashamed" she laughs
"Then why are you laughing" I ask
"Because you are hilariously cruel" she says
"Ok that makes no sense" I say
"Too bad" she says walking away
Alex comes out of her room and we go downstairs.
"Fallon we're leaving. Hopefully both of us will be back" I say
"Ok" she says
We leave and go to the car. I head towards Caleb's house because that's where we're all meeting up.
"Chad you said we'd go to Starbucks. Why are we going to Caleb's" she asks
"How did you know we're headed to Caleb's?" I ask
"Chad we've gone there so many times I know the route to all their houses" she says
"Oh boy. Just ask Caleb to take you. He'll do it" I say
We get to Caleb's and Alex runs inside.
*Alex POV*
I run inside Caleb's house and run into someone.
"Alex slow down" Caleb says
"Sorry Chad lied to me and now I need you to help me" I say
"How did he lie to you" he asks
"He told me we would get Starbucks but came here instead" I sigh
"Well that is unacceptable. We must go there and meet the others at the court room" he says
"Yeah let's go" I say
"Guys we're going to Starbucks. We'll meet you at the courtroom" Caleb yells
"Okay" Chad calls
We go to Caleb's car and head to Starbucks. We head inside and order. I get a double chocolate frappe and Caleb gets a Carmel frappe. We get back in the car and start heading to the court room. I'm really nervous.
"Chill out Alex we will do our best to get you to stay with us" Caleb says
"I'm still nervous" I say
"I know but you need to relax" he says
"Okay I'll try" I say
We get to the court room and go inside. We find the others and sit with them. I look across the way and see other people.
"Alright lets get this underway. I'm judge Deborah. And we will hear testimonies from Aaron Michael Jackson, Chadwick Matthew Graham, and Alexandra Marie Jackson Graham." The judge says, "Aaron please go first. And tell us why you want custody of Alex"

Aaron testimony
I want custody of Alex because she is my blood related sister. I know I didn't see her grow up but I want to start being in her life right now. I want to start going through everything with her. First boyfriend, prom, wedding, kid, everything. I want to help her out and be there.

"Thank you Aaron for your testimony. We will now here from Chadwick." The Judge says

Chad Testimony
I have enjoyed having Alex as a sister even if she isn't blood related. I have always thought of her as a blood related sister and we always hung out. She started to hang out with my band mates and she came to me about everything. As she grew older we became closer and I don't know what I would do if she left. She was in a come for a year and I felt completely lost. While she was in it I didn't leave her side because I knew if I left I would become disappointed. She has changed my life in more ways then one. I also know that I have changed her life even of she doesn't admit it.

"Thank you Chadwick now I would like Alexandra to tell us her age, who she wants to live with and why, also why she doesn't want to live with the other person" the judge says

Alex testimony
I'm 16. I want to live with Chad for many reasons. One he was always there for me and I grew up with knowing him since his mom and dad adopted me. I've gone through many troubles but Chad was always there for me. I have grown really close to his band mates and they each are something different. Chad is my caring and annoying brother that I love. Caleb is my best friend who I can go to with an for anything. He helps me just as much as Chad. Joey is like a second brother. We fight like siblings and act similar sometimes. He helps me out as well. Alan, Alan is what I call an idiot genius. He can act all dumb and crazy but he can be serious, smart, and really spiritual and I like that. I will need help with life and he'll usually relate it to scripture which I think is awesome. He really digs deep to the center of my problem and figured out a solution. My favorite verse that he has shown to me would be Jeremiah 29:11. I love it so much that I took the time to memorize it. What the verse says is: For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. It made me realize that I'm suppose to be living my life for Him and I feel like He's telling me that this is in His hands and He will be with me no matter where I go. Okay now the reason I don't want to live with Aaron is because I don't know who he is and I'm having trouble trusting people in the Jackson family. I almost got shot by my uncle. I'm afraid that I'm going to get abused by Aaron. But if I must go with him I'm willing to because God is with me. I will be fine as long as I get to see Chad and the other three.
