Protection and pools

*Alex POV*
I wake up to sun shining in my eyes. I look at my alarm clock and see that it's 7 in the morning. Wow I slept through the whole night. I get up and walk to the main room. I see Joey sitting on the couch watching something. I go and sit next to him.
"Hey Alex how did you sleep" he asks
"Fine. Why are you up so early" I ask
"I couldn't sleep" he says
"Oh ok. Have you seen puppet" I ask
"I think he's talking with the other guards" he says
I nod and continue watching tv. A few minutes later Chad comes in yawning. He sits next to me and kisses my forehead.
"Good morning Chadwick" I say
"Good morning Alexandra" he says
"Matthew" I glare
"Marie" he glares
"Graham" we both say
"Guys I'm trying to watch tv" Joey says
"We know" Chad says
"I'm going to breakfast" Joey says
"I'll come" I say
"I'll come too" Chad says
We leave the room and got to the hall.
"Pogo, panther, and puppet we're going to breakfast" I say
"Alright" puppet says
They follow a little bit behind us and we go down to breakfast. We get down there and start eating food. As I'm eating I see a guy watching me.
"Chad the guy over there is staring at me" I whisper
"I'll go tell puppet" he says
"No I'll come with you" I say
We get up and go over to puppet.
"Puppet the guy over in the corner is watching Alex" Chad says
"I'll go investigate. Thanks for telling me" he says
"Yeah" I say
We go back to the table and sit down. We talk about random things with Joey.
*Puppet POV*
"Puppet what was that about" Panther asks me
"The guy in the corner keeps glaring at Alex" I say
I get up and go over to him. As I get there he gets up and I see a gun.
"Hi I'm Paul Johnson. Who are you" I ask
"I'm Charles John" he says
"It's nice to meet you. That's a mighty fine gun you have there can I look at it" I say
"I really don't like people touching my gun. It's a real beauty a and I wouldn't want it to get into the wrong hands" he says
"Do you have a gun license" I ask
"Yeah" he says
He shows me his gun license and I see the name.
"I'm sorry but it says that the gun belongs to a Chuck Jackson and you said your name is Charles John" I say
"Yeah well I lie" he says
I grab my gun and point it at him. He grabs his gun and points it at Alex.
"Chuck put the gun down or I'll shoot" I say
"No that girl ruined my life and now I'm going to ruin hers" he says
"You already did by killing her sister. Just put the gun down" I say
"No I am going to kill her if its the last thing I do." He says
*Alex POV*
Chad and Joey had to go do something so I'm sitting down here with panther. I look over at puppet and see him holding a gun at the guy. The guy is aiming a gun at someone but I'm not sure who. A few minutes later I hear two gun shots and I go to the ground just I case it's flying towards me. I wait a few minutes and stand up. I look towards puppet and see the guy laying on the ground. I look behind me and see a hole in the wall. I run over to puppet and give him a hug.
"Thank you puppet. Thank you so much" I say shakily
"No problem it's my job. Are you okay though" he asks
"Yeah. As soon as I heard a gun shot I dropped to the floor. I'm just a little scared" I say
"Ok. As long as your ok" he says
Chad comes back down and comes over to us.
"What happened? I heard a gun shot" he says
"Puppet killed my uncle. My uncle aimed for me but I didn't get hit because I went to the floor" I say
"I'm so glad you're ok. Thank you Puppet thank you so so much" chad says
"You're welcome. Now why don't you go back to the room so I can talk to my boss and deal with this stuff" Puppet says
I hop on Chad's back and he goes up to our room. The other guys and wives are there.
"Are you ok Alex" Caleb asks
"Yep. Puppet killed my uncle and my uncle missed me." I say
"Good. We got really worried when we heard the gunshot" Joey says
"Do you know when we'll be able to go back home" I ask
"Nope. I bet puppet will let us know" Alan says
A few minutes later puppet comes in the room.
"So I talked with my boss and he said that you guys just need to stay here tonight so we can question some of your other family members then all of you can go home" he says
"Ok thanks" Chad says
"No problem" he says
"Now what should we do" I ask
"Can we go swimming" AJ asks
"Yeah daddy" Presley says
"Sure why not" Alan says
At that moment Chad's phone rings.
*Chad POV*
My phone starts ringing so I go into a bedroom to answer it.
C-hello
P-hello Chad this is puppet we would like it if Alex could come down to the station so we can ask her a few questions
C-ok we'll be there soon
I hang up and go out to everyone else.
"What was that about" Caleb asks
"The police need to ask Alex a few questions. Lets go Alex they need us now" I say
"Ok bye everyone" she says
"See ya" they say
We leave and head to the station. We get there and go inside. Puppet is waiting for us. We follow him to an office and sit down.
"Hello Chad and Alex" pop says
"Hello Pop and puppet" Alex says
"Alright so we want to ask a few questions then tell you something" pop says
"Ok" I say
"Alex can you tell me everything that happened this morning at breakfast" puppet asks
"Ok so I was sitting with Joey and Chad at breakfast and saw this guy looking at me. I told Chad and he told puppet. Puppet went over to the guy and talked to him. All I heard were two gun shots and my uncle on the floor. I didn't get shot because I ducked as soon as I heard the gunshots. Also my uncle had a gun pointing at me" Alex says
"Thank you" pop says
"Alright now for the news" Puppet says
"Alex you have 3 blood related older brothers. Adam, Aaron, and Asher" pop says
"Wow so I'm not an only child" Alex says
"Yeah and there's also some bad news" puppet says
Alex nods and has fear in her eyes. I grab her hand and squeeze it reassuringly.
"Technically if you have other blood related relatives and your parents died then you have to live with them if thy want you. The thing is your oldest brother Aaron wants you to live with him." Pop says
"Wait her parents died and mine adopted her. Then mine died so I wanted her to live with me. Can't she choose who she wants to live with since both sets of parents died and she has two sets of siblings" I ask hopeful
"Yes and no. We'd have to go to court for custody orders and if Alex you, Aaron, and Alex give a testimony then we can let the judge choose. Once the judge chooses you'll have full custody over her and you two and your wife can talk about her seeing her brothers or not" pop says
"Ok when can we do the custody thing" I ask
"Umm does next week work" puppet asks
"Yeah. I can jut cancel band practice" I say
We thank them then leave. We get to the car and Alex doesn't talk the whole way to the hotel.
*Alex POV*
I can't believe I might have to leave the brother I grew up with to live with one I don't know at all. I'm really scared and sad. As soon as we get to the hotel and in the room I run to 'my room' and cry into the pillows on the bed. I hear footsteps coming and the bed dip.
"Go away Chad I don't want to talk" I cry
"I was just seeing if you wanted anything to eat" he asks
"No" I say
I hear footsteps walking away and the door closing. I cry more and more.
*Chad POV*
I want to know what's wrong. She won't talk to me. The guys come into the living room part of the suite and suit on the couches.
"Where's Alex" Caleb asks
"In her room" I say
"Is she okay" Joey asks
"She upset" I say
"What happened" Alan asks
I tell them everything that went on in the meeting and the whole court set up and testimonies. After I'm done Caleb gets up and goes to Alex's room. Ugh why is it so easy for him to talk to her. I put my head in my hands in frustration. I feel someone's hand on my shoulder. I look to my right and see Joey.
"Chad you can't let this bother you. I know you want her to talk to you but sometimes it's easier for her to talk to someone that acts like a best friend. You're her brother, and Caleb is her best friend. Alan and I, we are two idiot geniuses who just pop up at random times in her life to help her and encourage her. You can't let this get to you and destroy you. You need to let God work in this. If she is to move God will have that happen if He wants her to stay in will happen. It all depends on God, His will, His power, and His plan" Joey says
"Thanks dude. I needed that and that was a wonderfully worded speech" I say
He laughs and we all talk about different things waiting for Caleb and possibly Alex.
*Caleb POV*
I go into Alex's room and she's on the bed crying. I sit next to her and put her head in my lap. I play with her hair and sing just fall to her quietly. When I'm done she looks up at me and smiles softly.
"What's wrong?" I ask
"I'm scared that I'm going to have to leave you guys and I don't want to live with someone who I know nothing about" she says
"Alex we will try to win you to stay with us. When you go to court talk about not knowing Aaron and knowing and growing up with Chad" I say
"Ok I just don't want to leave you all. I have so many good memories with you four" she says
"I know and we've had a lot of fun with you. We will make sure that if Chad loses we can still hang with you" I say
"Thanks Caleb you're the most bestest" she says then runs out
"Alexandra Marie Graham" I yell
I go out to the living room in the suite and see Alex clinging to Chad for dear life.
"Caleb what did you do to my sister? she won't let go of me" Chad says
"She said the most b- b- bestest" I whine
"Caleb seriously? you stutter with that it's a little mistake and you blow up? how mature" Joey says
"Shut it Joseph" I say
"Awww look Cabey is angry" Chad says
"Chadwick" I warn
"Guys don't get him to mad or his head might explode" Alex says
"Alan make them stop" I whine
"I could but you sort of brought this on yourself" he says
"Phooey" I say
I plop down on the ground and Alex comes sit next to me.
"What's up" I ask
"What's the matter" she asks
"I always loose when it comes to grammar" I sigh
"Well out of us four your the only one who cares" she says
"There's five of us" I say
"Oh Richard Alan Powell doesn't count right now" she whispers
"Heard that" Alan yells
"Sssh" Chad says
"Why" I ask
"Joseph is asleep" he says
"How can he sleep through this noise" I ask
"I can wake him" Chad and Alex say
"Go ahead Alex lets see you do something" Alan says
"Chad are you thinking what I'm thinking" Alex asks
He nods his head
*Alex POV*
So Chad and I are both thinking the same thing for waking him up. We somehow manage to get Joey on Chad's back with out him waking up. We get on the elevator and go to the lobby. We get to the pool and put him on a raft. Chad pushes the raft into the middle of the pool an pulls out his phone to record.

"Joey watch out" Alex screams
She jumps in and water splashes on Joey. He shoots up and the raft tips over. As it tips he screams a lot. He comes up and swims towards Alex. He picks her up and gets put he drops her in the pool then Alex pulls him in.

Once chad puts his phone away Joey and I each grab a hand and pull him in. We get out and grab towels. Chad grab his phone and we go back up to the room.
"You do realize I hate you both now" Joey says
"We know" we say
"Why do you guys talk at the same time" he asks
"We don't" we says
"Stop" we say
"You stop" we shout
"Guys stop" Alan says
"Why are you three wet" Caleb asks
"There's a pool and three of us why wouldn't we be wet" I ask
"Ok Chad show us the video" Caleb says
He shows them the video and they start laughing.
"Guys it's not funny I was trying to sleep" Joey pouts
"Chad what time is it" I ask
"5" he says
"Can we get dinner" I ask
"What do ya want" he asks
"Chick fil a" I say
"Let go" Caleb says
"Wait we need to change we're still wet" Joey says
We hurry and change then go to chick fil a. After we eat we go back to the hotel and I go to sleep.
