*Alex POV*
I wake up in the morning to the sound of an electric guitar.
"Chad" I whine
"What" he asks
"Why do you have a guitar" I ask
"Don't know maybe to wake you up so you can get ready for the tryouts " he says
"I almost forgot" I say
I hop out of bed and kick Chad out of my room. I get dressed and go downstairs. I go to the kitchen and find a plate of food. I sit down and start eating. Chad comes down and sits next to me.
"Hey you're eating my food' he whines
"You left it here and I found it here. Finder keepers losers weepers" I say
"Just eat your food" he says putting his hand on my face.
I lick his hand and he pulls it away squealing.
"Wow Chad you're more manly then I thought" Joey says
"When did you guys get here" Chad asks
"About five minutes ago" Caleb says
"Ok" I say
I finish my breakfast and I put my cleats on.
"I'm ready Chad. I don't want to be late to try outs" I say
"Ok I'm coming" he says
We all pile into Alan's van and Alan drives to the football field. I head over to the coach and Chad comes with me.
"Excuse me sir" I say
"May I help you" he asks
"I would like to try out for QB" I say
"Ok why don't you throw it to number 15" the coach says
I take the football and throw a perfect spiral to the guy I was told to.
"Wow very impressive. Why don't you hang out today and I'll call you if you make the team. You're really talented and you have a good arm" the coach says
"Thanks sir" I say
"Call me coach Jim" he says
"Ok" I say
The guys go and sit on the bleachers and we start running some plays. They put me as QB for some of them and other times I'm put as the wide receiver. Once the practice ends the coach calls me over.
"Yes" I ask
"Ok so I was watching you during the practice and I talked to the other coaches and how would you like to be our main QB" he asks
"I would love that thank you" I say
"Of course now what's your name and what jersey number do you want" he asks
"My names Alex Alexandra Graham but I prefer to be called Alex and number 9 if possible" I say
"Of course. The next practice is tomorrow from 10-3. I'll have a uniform for you by then. Just remember to get a mouth guard since you already have cleats." He says
"Will do bye and thank you" I say
I walk over to the guys and Chad slings his arm over my shoulder.
"What was that all about" Chad asks
"Well I made the team as the main QB and I need to get a mouth guard and he'll have my uniform for me tomorrow at practice which is from 10-3" I say
"Congrats and we'll stop and get you one on the way home" chad says
"Alright what time is it" I ask
"About 2:30" Alan says
"Can we go to chick fil a I'm hungry" I say
"Please" Joey asks
"Pretty please" Caleb asks
"Yes children we will go now get in the vehicle" Alan says
"Oh Alex I brought your slides for you" Chad says
"Thank you can I have them" I ask
He grabs them and chucks them at my face.
"Thanks. I call shotgun" I say
I run to the van and get in front. Chad runs and gets in the driver seat.
"Alan's gonna kill you" I say
"No he won't because I stole his keys" he says
"Now he'll kill you more" I say
"Who cares" he says
"Chadwick" we hear Alan yell
"Richard" chad shoots back
"Where are my keys and my wallet" he asks
"I have your keys and I don't know where your wallet is" Chad says
"But I do" I mumble
Apparently chad heard me and he starts laughing. I try to contain my laughter but I finally give up. We finally stop laughing when chad bumps the horn on accident. We give Alan his wallet and the guys get in. Chad drives to chick fil a. Once we get there we head inside like calm,normal, civilized human beings. Not really. We all raced and Chad and I tied.
"How are you two so fast" Alan asks
"Not sure" Chad says
"I do a sport" I say
We go inside and order. Once we have our food we go to a table and sit down. Alan prays and we start eating.
"Are you guys working on anything new" I ask
"Not really" Caleb says
"Ok" I say
"How was filming" Alan asks
"Good did you watch the episode" I ask
"Yeah. When do you film the next one" Alan asks
"In two days" I say
As we're eating I feel a tug on my shirt. I turn around and see a little girl standing there.
"Hey there cutie can I help you" I ask
"Are you the girl that plays Maya" she asks
"Yes I am" I say
"Can I have your autograph" she asks
"Of course what's your name?" I ask
"Ella" she says
"Well that's a beautiful name" I say
"Thank you" she says
She hands me the paper and pen and I sign it. I hand it back to her and she runs off. I turn back around and Chad is staring at me.
"What" I ask
"Nothing" he says and continues eating
We finish eating and head out. We stop at a sports authority and get me a mouth guard. Alan drops chad and me off and we go inside. As we walk I. My phone starts ringing. I go upstairs and answer it.
A-hey
P-hey what are you doing
A-not much I just got back from football tryouts
P-how did it go
A-I'm the new main QB
P-that's awesome
A-what are you doing
P-nothing really. I'm just going over the script for the next episode. Did you go over it yet
A-yeah twice
P-ok
A-why don't you come over for dinner in a little bit. Chad won't mind he enjoys having you around
P-okay see you soon
A-bye love you
P-love you too
I hang up and go downstairs. I go to the living room and see Chad laying on the couch. I go over and sit on him. He groans and tries to sit up.
"Alex why are you on me" he asks
"You were taking up the couch" I say
"Well if you get off of me I'll sit up" he says
"Ok. Also Peyton is coming over for dinner" I say
"Ok now get off so I can go make dinner" he says
I get off of Chad and he goes into the kitchen. I follow behind him and grab a bottle of water from the fridge and sit on the island.
"Alex you know they created this thing called chairs. You sit on them" Chad says
"Really I never knew there were such things. I recently heard of a invention called duct tape that siblings use on each other to keep them quiet" I reply
"Watch it I know where you sleep" he glares
"Really because I also have the power to lock my door" I glare back
"Yeah and I can unlock it" he says
"Whatevs" I sass
"Well then sassy" he says
I get off the island and go to the living room. I turn on the Seahawks football game and Chad runs out.
"Who's winning" he asks
"Seattle. The eagles are bad" I say
"Good so who are you rooting for now" he asks
"Seattle" I say
"Why" he asks
"Because I always liked them but I also liked watching Tim Tebow play. Now that he isn't playing I can't like any other team" I say
"Ok" he says
He goes back to the kitchen and a little while later I hear a knock on the door. I go and open it. I see Peyton standing there. I hug him and he hugs back. He comes in and we go to the kitchen. Him and Chad bro hug. I help set the table and we all sit down. After Chad prays we start eating.
"Thank you Chad this is good. Where did Chase and Fallon go again" I ask
"Well her, Chase, and Kelsey went on a vacation for a month or two" he says
"Oh" I say
"Yep so Peyton did you hear about Alex getting on the football team" Chad asks
"I did I'm so proud of her" Peyton says
"Oh Chad I have filming on Saturday" I say
"Ok" he says
"Chad how is the band doing" Peyton asks
"They're doing ok. Alan and Brycie have been busy with their kids. Joey hasn't been doing anything really and Caleb and Kelsey are busy with their singing project" Chad says
"Nice. Now how about you Alex anything new" Peyton asks
"No you" I ask
"Well I've been busy with writing music and visiting family in Texas, Australia, and Ireland" He says
"Wow do you have accents from any of those places" I ask
"Well I have an accent but it's a mixture of all of them so it sounds weird" he says
"Can you talk in it please I want to hear it" I plead
"No" he says
"Please" I beg
"Fine only for you because your cute" he says in an accent
"That's adorable" I say
"You think" he asks
"I know" I say
"Ok. Then I'll talk in it more because I hate hiding it because it hurts my throat after awhile" he says
We finish up dinner and go to the living room. I lay on the floor and watch the football game.
"Chad the Seahawks are gonna win" I say
"How do you know" he asks
"Russell Wilson did a QB sneak and got tackled after 39 yards and now their 1st and goal" I say
"How much time left in the game" he asks
"A few minutes" I say
"Ok" he says
The game finishes and I go to the couch. I sit next to Peyton and he kisses my forehead.
"I love you" he whispers
"I love you too" I whisper back
"I have to go I'll see you on Saturday" he says
"Ok bye see you Saturday" I say
He get up and leaves. Chad comes out of the kitchen and sits next to me.
"What up bro" I say
"Not much what up with you" he asks
"Not much. I'm tired so I'm going to bed" I say
"Ok sleep tight sis don't forget you have practice tomorrow" he says
"I won't good night" I say
I go upstairs and get in my pjs. I get in bed and fall fast asleep.

I wake up the next morning at 8 and get dressed. I go downstairs and make myself a smoothie. I drink it then go and brush my teeth. After my teeth are brushed I go to my my room and do my hair. I grab my cleats and mouth guard and throw then in my bag and put my slides on. I go downstairs and see Chad by the door.
"You ready" he asks
"Yeah" I say
We get in his car and he drives to the field. He drops me off and I go over to the coach.
"Hey coach" I say
"Hey Alex if you go over to the bleacher I have your practice uniform and your game uniform over there. You can go into the girls locker room and change. I had the cheer coach place a helmet in there for you." Coach says
"Thank you" I say
I grab the stuff and go to the locker room. I change and go outside. When I get there I see the guys stretching. I start stretching with them till the coach calls me over. I jog over to him.
"Yes" I ask
"Hey so we're gonna run a few plays and you can do them or you can watch which do you prefer" he asks
"I'll do them. What plays are they" I ask
"Long pass, hand off, and QB sneak" he says
"Ok that's simple enough" I say
I put my helmet on and grab my mouth guard. I go over to the huddle and tell them the play.
"Set hike" I say
I get the ball and throw it to the wide receiver. He catches it and gets tackled at the thirty. We get in the huddle again.
"Ok I'm gonna pass it off to Jacobs" I say
We get on the line and the center snaps the ball I hand it off and Jacobs runs about sixty five yards before getting tackled. We get in the huddle again and I tell them about the QB sneak. I call it and the ball is snapped. I pretend to throw it but start running. I run about forty five yards before I'm tackled. I get up and go over to the coach.
"Well done Graham. Well done" he says
"Thanks coach" I say
"Ok guys over here" the couch yells
We all crowd around him.
"Good job today the first game is in e few weeks. You are dismissed" he says
I go to the girls locker room and get changed. I shove my uniform in my bag and put my slides on. I go to the parking lot and wait for Chad. As I'm waiting one of the guys walk over to me.
"Hey I'm Ryan Thomas" he says
"Alex Graham" I say
"Wait your the Quarter Back" he asks
"Yeah" I say
"Girls shouldn't be able to play football" he says
"Why's that" I ask
"Because they're weak" he says
"Yeah but during the whole practice you guys thought I was a guy." I say
"Well you can throw and accept a tackle but can you tackle" he asks
"Yeah" I say
"Prove it" he snarls
"Ok Monday at practice I'll ask coach if we can do a tackle drill and I'll go up against you" I say
"No no no I never said I would be the one you go up against. You're going to have to tackle Jacobs" he says
"Ok I'll do it" I say
"And if you don't tackle him you have to quit the team" he says
"What if I do tackle him" I ask
"I'll get the guy to convince coach to kick you off the team" he says
"I really don't care if you try to get me off the team or not I will do my best" I say
"Whatever" he says
I look back to the parking lot and find Chad's car.
"Bye Thomas" I say
"Bye Graham" he snaps
I pick up my bag and go to Chad's car. I throw my stuff in the trunk and get in the passenger seat. Chad starts the car and pulls out of the parking lot.
"How was practice today" he asks
"It was good." I say
"What's wrong" he asks
"Nothing" I say
"Alex don't lie to me. I can tell if something's wrong. You're usually telling me all about something if it was good" he says
"It was good we ran a few plays and I have practice on Monday. The first game is in a few weeks" I say
"Ok" he says
We get home and go inside. I go to the kitchen and grab a bottle of water. I go back to the living room and sit down next to Chad.
"Chad when am I done with school" I ask
"Well you have your finals on Tuesday and I just got the scores back for your SAT and ACT test" he says
"What did I get" I ask
"Well you got better than average for both so you'll be able to get into a good college if you decide to go" he says
"Ok am I going to get a diploma or no" I ask
"Well there's this thing where I can email one of the schools listed and you can go to their graduation if wanted or we can jut hang out and celebrate here and I'll get you your diploma" he says
"We should just hang" I say
"Okay we'll do it next week" he says
I grab the remote and turn on NCIS. As I'm watching this my phone rings. I go into the kitchen and answer it.
A-hello
C-hey Alex this is coach
A-oh hey coach can I help you
C-I just realized you were a senior in high school and so some people are coming to observe you and some of the guys at practice on Monday
A-ok and is it possible if we do a tackling drill. If so I want to go up against Jacobs
C-I'll see to it have a good night
A-you too bye
I hang up and go back to the couch. I sit down and look for the remote.
"What are you looking for" Chad asks
"The remote" I say
"It's on the coffee table. Who was on the phone" he asks
"The coach he was just yelling me about something" I say
"Ok well we're going to Caleb's for dinner because he said he's lonely" Chad says
"Ok" I say
We go to the car and Chad drives to Caleb's. We get there and I go inside.
"Hello Caleb" I say
"Hey Alex" he says
I Go over to the video games and look through them.
"Alex what are you doing" Caleb asks
"Looking at your games what you doing" I ask
"First off its what are you doing and second I'm trying to set up Mario kart" he says
Ok I'll move your grammar majesty" I say
"Why thank you royal sorcerer" he says
"Where's Chad" I ask
"He's making dinner. He apparently wants to try something new" Caleb says
"He loves to cook way too much. Every other week he's trying a new recipe" I laugh
"He's strange" Caleb says
"Its true" I say
Caleb puts the game on and we both grab a remote. We're about to start but there's a knock at the door. Caleb gets the door and Joey walks in.
"Hey Joe what are you doing here" I ask
"I was bored" he says
"So you come to my house" Caleb asks
"Well I knew Kelsey was gone so I was thinking you could use some company. Where's Chad" he asks
"Chad is cooking food" I say
"Ooh food I'm now hungry" Joey says
"Wow" I laugh
"I know I'm weird but you are too" he says
I grab a controller and give it to Joey.
"I'm so going to beat you stamper" I say
"You're on Graham" he says
Caleb comes over and grabs his controller and we start racing. Somehow I come in first and Joey come in last like usual. Caleb comes over to me and glares at me. I get off the couch and run to the kitchen. I hide behind Chad and Caleb goes up to Chad.
"Don't you dare think about hurting my little sister" Chad says
"I'm not going to hurt her I just need to talk with her" Caleb says
"Caleb we all know she beat you so just let it go. Dinner is ready" Chad says
Caleb gives up and sits down at the table. Joey runs into the kitchen and sits down. I sit next to Joey and Chad sits next to me. Chad prays and we start eating.
"Wait Joey when did you get here?" Chad asks
"Um about ten minutes ago" he says with his mouthful
"Joseph swallow before you talk" I scold
"Yes Alan" he says
"We might have the same nickname and maturity but I am way prettier and older then him" I say
"Woah woah woah you are so not prettier than me" Alan says
"When and why are you here" Caleb asks
"Well I got here about two minutes ago and Brycie kicked me out of the house" Alan says
"Wow Alan why did Brycie kick you out" Joey asks
"She wanted to hang out with our little ones by herself" he says
"Ok so why don't you join us and eat this food that Chad made. It's new and good" Caleb says with his mouth full
"Cabey swallow before you speak" Alan and I scold
"Ok ok I will next time. You two need to chill" he says
"Well I will calm down once Alan admits I'm prettier than him" I say
"Nope not gonna do it" he says
"Fine I'm stronger than you" I say
"Woah hold it I'm way stronger than you" he says
"Alan I can tackle you and Chad both. It's not that hard" I say
"Ok ok guys just eat your food and stop your arguing." Caleb says
I finish eating and put my dishes in the dishwasher. I go to the living room am the guys sit on the couch as well. I grab a controller and turn the tv on. The guys grab controllers too.
"Ok so this is really against Caleb and Alex then Joey and Alan. I'm just playing because I have nothing better to do" Chad says
"Yeah whatever lets just play" I say
We start racing and Caleb and I are in the lead. By the end of the race Chad is last and I'm first. The others fall in between.
"Looks like we know which is the better Graham" Alan says
"Really Alan that sounds like something Joey would say" Chad says
"That is true" Joey says
I lay down and listen to their argument as I slowly fall asleep. Their arguments always take a while.
*Chad POV*
So about ten minutes later we finished our discussion with Joey and Caleb in a headlock and Alan making sure no one got killed.
"Chad your sister is asleep" Alan says
"Ok see ya guys" I say
"See ya are you coming to the meeting tomorrow" Caleb asks
"Ya. I'll be there once Peyton picks Alex up for filming" I say
"Ok bye" Joey says
I pick Alex up and go to the car. I place her in her seat and buckle her in. I get in and drive home. Once I get home I carry Alex inside and take her to her room. I tuck her in and then go to my room I get in bed and fall asleep instantly.
