Dance offs and sing offs

*Alex POV*
I'm woken up the next morning to the sound of guitars being played. I get up from bed and leave the room at the same time as Chad.
"I thought it was you making that noise" we say at the same time
"Joseph!!!!!" we yell
We run downstairs and see all the guys and ladies.
"What time is it" I ask
"Almost noon. The dance off is at 3:30 and you two have to get ready" Kelsey says
"What do you mean by get ready" Chad asks
"Eat and then find your outfits. We're going to the mall so we can find you two matching outfits" Fallon says
"Who's watching the girls" I ask
"Oh we got Donald to watch them" Alan says
"You all are so serious about this" Chad laughs
"Ok there's two plates of food in the kitchen. Eat then go get dressed" Brycie says
"Chop chop" Joey says
We go to the kitchen and sit down at the small table. We eat the food then go upstairs. I get dressed and I get downstairs after Chad. We get in two vehicles and go to the mall.
"Alright boys take Chad and us girls will take Alex. You three know what we talked about" Kelsey says
They grab my arms and hurry me off to a store. We go in and they look around. They throw black jeans, a white shirt, and a sweatshirt. (The picture attached is a picture of the sweatshirt they are wearing)
"Go put the clothes on" Fallon says
I go to the changing room and oh the clothes on. I walk out an show them.
"Alright good. You'll then wear a hat with it" Kelsey says
I go back in and change out of the clothes. I give them to Brycie and she goes to pay for them.
"Fallon who's watching Chase" I ask
"Oh while you and Chad were asleep I dropped him off at Alan's so that Donald could watch him as well" she says
"Ok lets go find some shoes" Brycie says
"We're meeting the guys at sneaker king" Kelsey says
"Alright lets go" Fallon says
We go to sneaker king. I find Chad standing outside. I go over to him and the girls go in the store.
"How'd it go" he asks
"I hate shopping" I say
"I know" he says
"Chad, Alex come here" Joey says
We go in and find them. They hand us white and black Nike shoes and we put them on.
"We done" I ask
"Yeah" Alan says
We take them off and hand them to Caleb and Kelsey everyone walks off and we put our shoes back on. We walk out and we get back in the vehicles. Chad and I go up to our rooms and change. We walk out at the same time again.
"Well I guess they wanted us to be stormtroopers" I say
"I guess so. Come on sis. It will be fun" Chad says
"Sure" I say
We go down stairs and Kelsey puts my hair in a ponytail then puts an anthem lights SnapBack on. Chad has a blue one and I have a pink one.
"Ok time to go" Fallon says
We get in the vehicles again and drive away. We get to this place and go inside everyone walks off and Chad and I walk to the registration table.
"Chad and Alex Graham" Chad says
"Oh yes you two may go ahead to room 12 and practice or whatever then go to the main room at 4 for the thing to start" the lady says
We thank her and go to the room she told us. We go inside and sit down on the couch.
"Oh boy we'll be bored for about a half hour" I say
"Well we should probably just dance a little while we have the time" He says
"True" I say
He takes his phone and plays that s what I'm looking for. We stand up and start dancing. We dance for a good twenty minutes then take a break. We each drink a bottle of water then head to the main room. We find everyone and go over to them.
"Good luck" they say
"Yeah" I say
"Ok" Chad says
"Oh stop it you'll do fine. Hey this jut means you two dancing together is better than Alan's dancing" Caleb says
"Hey I'm sitting right here" Alan says
"Oh well" Joey says
"Hey Chad I bet I can sing better than you" I say
"No you can't" he says
"I can sing better than both of you" Joey says
"No you can't" Chad and I say
"Yes I can" Joey says
"Woah hold it. There's an easy way to solve it" Alan says
"How" I ask
"Dancers please come to the dance floor and find a spot" someone says
"I'll tell you afterwards" he says
Chad grabs my hand and drags him to the corner farthest away from everyone.
"What you don't want them to see you" I ask
"Not at the beginning" he says
"Ok we'll be changing songs and judges will be walking around. If they tap your shoulder you and your partner are out the last partnership left wins" a man says
"Alright when the music starts start dancing" someone else says
Music comes on and we start dancing. Within five seconds two groups are out.
"Hey don't look at the judges. Keep your eyes on me and think about dancing for our parents" Chad says
"Ok. This is actually really fun" I say
He nods in agreement. They change the song from a up beat one to a slow beat one and we start to waltz. I hear Joey laugh from across the room.
"Oh gosh Joey is really loud" I say
"Yeah well so is Donald so what do you expect" he says
The songs keep changing and people keep on getting out.
"Alrighty we have two groups left" the man says
"Why don't we change the song a bit" the other one says
The song changes and Shake it up is playing but the anthem lights version. Chad and I start dancing weird and we hear the guys start cheering. The other group gets tapped out and we continue dancing. I do the worm and then Chad and I do the Stamper and I see Joey stand up and do it. Chad and I start laughing. The song ends and we stop dancing.
"Congratulations to Chad and Alex Graham you just won the states dance off" the guy says
He hands us a trophy and go over to the others.
"You never told us it was states" I say
"That's because if we told you we knew you weren't going to do it" Alan says
"Didn't you need our signatures" Chad asks
"I've been practicing your signatures" Joey says
"Why" I ask
"Actually I've been practicing all of yours" he says
"Like Alex said why" Caleb asks
"I don't know I have free time" Joey says
"Wow Joe you really need to get a life" I say
"I would have one but apparently I'm not allowed to invade Caleb and Kelsey's marriage anymore. They said it was because I'm always in the middle of it and they don't like taking turns being the third wheel" Joey says
"Oh gosh. Joey I'm going to find a random girl at your next confetti and make her your girl friend" I say
"Alex you can't just walk up to a crazy psycho fan and say 'hey it's your lucky day you're now Joey's girlfriend. Come backstage after the show and I'll have a pastor waiting to officiate the wedding' you can't do that" Chad says
"Yeah that's not how it works. How would you like it if that happened to you" Caleb asks
"For one Joey is like a brother to me and he is also like 8 or 9 years older than me" I say
"Wow hurtful" Joey says
"Ok if Joey wasn't like a brother, closer to your age, and Chad would let you would you date him" Caleb asks
"Why are we even having this conversation" I ask
"Yeah. I don't need my sister changing. I like her just the way she is" Chad says
"Just answer the question" Kelsey says
"I mean if I could do his hair and choose out some of his outfits then yeah." I say
"Alright lets just go" Brycie says
"Wait Alan what are we going to do to decide who the best singer is" I ask
"Oh yeah. Caleb and I are going to be the judges of a sing off between you three. Will give you each a different song to sing then we'll decide who wins" Alan says
"Ok well us ladies want to go home so Fallon and Kelsey I'll drive you two home" Brycie says
We look at them.
"You are doing this at Joey's or the studio aren't you" Fallon says
"Ok we will go to Joey's" Chad says
"Why my house" Joey whines
"what did you not clean it in like a month" I ask
"Maybe" he says
"Oh Joseph" I say
"What" he asks
"Alright we're doing it at the studio then tomorrow I'm helping you clean your house because I do not want to hang out there until it's clean. Like I'll hang there to clean but that's it until it's clean" I say
"Ok" he says
"Alex I would just learn how to hold your breath for a long time because there's probably mold" Alan says
"I'm not that bad" Joey complains
"Yeah right. I went to your house and nearly suffocated" Chad says
"Ok boys and Alex stop the arguing. We're leaving. Alex and Caleb you're in charge" Brycie says
"No" Fallon says, "Caleb you're in charge"
"Nope I don't trust Caleb Alex you're in charge" Kelsey says
"If we're both in charge we'll keep each other in line" I say
They seem satisfied and leave. The other three are still arguing so I grab the keys from Chad and Caleb and I go to the van. We get in and lock the doors.
"How long do you think it's going to take" Caleb asks
"Not very long. I also stole all their phones" I say
"Lets take a selfie" he says
We take photos with all their phones and put them in the glove box. About five minutes later they come out. I put the windows up and turn the radio on. Chad starts talking but I pretend I can't hear him. Caleb plays along. This goes on for a while till we get bored and let them in. I turn the volume down and unlock the doors. They get in back.
"Alexandra Marie Graham. Give us our phones" Chad says
"Neh I don't feel like it" I say
"Caleb" Alan says
"The ladies left us in charge so we say no phones until we get to the studio" Caleb says
I pull out of the parking lot and drive to the studio. I grab the phones and put them in my draw string bag that I found in front of Caleb's feet. I get out and head to the door. Alan unlocks it and we go inside. I set the bags down and I'm instantly tackled to the ground. I look up and see that it's Chad.
"Hey bubba" I say
Hey there sis" he says
"So where's the phone" Joey says
"Well there's one on each desk" I say
"The cell phones" Alan says
"If tell you but someone's laying on me" I say
"Chadwick get off your sister you can wrestle off we get the phones and we have the sing off" Joey says
He gets off and I give them their phones.
"Ok Joey you're up first. Get in the recording booth" Alan says
He goes in and out the head phones on. Alan goes in tells Joey something's then walks out. He hits a few buttons and Joey starts singing. After the song the same process happens with Chad. When it's my turn I go in and Caleb follows me in.
"Ok you'll be singing love you like the movies. Attempt to hit Chad's high note" he says
"Ok" I say
He walks off and the music starts playing.

I walk out and Chad is standing there with his mouth wide open. I go over there and slap his cheek.
"Thanks" he says
"No problem can I slap it again" I ask

"Alex wins" Caleb says
"Yeah" Alan says
"I agree" Joey says
"Good job sis that was amazing" Chad says
"Really" I ask
"I think you hit the high note better than Chad" Joey says
"Alright time for our wrestling match" I say
"Not in the studio" Alan says
"Why not" Chad asks
"We do t need to break anything" Alan says
"Then where can we wrestle" I ask
"The gym down the street has a wrestling mat. Come on we need people to watch and a ref" Chad says
We get in the van and he drives down the street. We go inside and get on the mat.
"Wait. You need those for nationals so change then you can wrestle and change out I those shoes" Caleb says
Bags get thrown to us and we walk off I get changed and go out. I walk over to then and take my shoes and socks off I stand on the mat while chad takes his shoes and socks off we get set and we begin wrestling. After about ten minutes I give up and let Chad get me to the ground. I wrap my legs steins him and kick him behind the knee he weakens enough for me to flip him and pin him to the mat.
"Nice try Chadwick" I say
"That's what you think Alexandra" he says
He rolls out of my grip and pins me to the mat. I manage to get out of the pin some how.
"Ok how long is this going to go on" Joey asks
"Not sure" Caleb says
"Is this safe" Alan asks
"It's fine. And this is getting boring." I say
"Then give up" Chad says
"No I have to prove that I can beat you" I say
"No you don't" Chad says
"Then give up" I say
"No because then I'll get ridiculed the rest of my life by Joey about you beating me" he says
"Ok bring it on big bro" I say
"It's on lil sis" he says
We continue on for about another ten minutes until Caleb stops us.
"Why can't we continue" we ask
"Because we have to get home and no one is going to win" Alan says
"Fine" we say
"I'm driving and you two are sitting in the way back until everyone is dropped off" Joey says
"Why" I ask
"You two stink" Alan says
We go out to the van and Chad and I get in the way back. Joey gets up front and drops Caleb off first then Alan. We get to his house and he gets out. Chad an I get in front and I drive home we get home and go inside. We go to sit on the couch but Fallon stops us.
"Hold it. Why do you two reek" she asks
"We might've been wrestling each other for thirty minutes straight" I say
"Okay Chad you take a shower downstairs and Alex take a shower upstairs you two smell really bad" she says
I go upstairs and grab clothes. I get in the chowder and wash my hair. I get out and change into my pjs. I brush my hair and go downstairs. I sit next to Chad on the couch and put my feet on his lap.
"Excuse me why are your feet on my lap" he asks
"My feet are cold" I say
"Go put socks on" he says
"I don't want to get up" he says
"Aunt Alex and daddy dinner is ready" Chase says
Chad gets up and I give him puppy dog eyes. He turns around and I hop on his back.
"Works every time" I whisper in his ear
"Ssh I've always been a sucker for your puppy dog eyes. All the guys are. Even Alan and he can resist his girls. You have magical powers" he says
He walks out to the dining room and sets me in a chair.
"Puppy dog eyes again Chad" Fallon laughs
"I'm sorry but it's irresistible" he says
"You have those guys wrapped around your finger. They would do anything for you" Fallon says
"I know. I have a specific purpose for each of them" I say
"What's that" Chad asks
"Well all of you will talk with me but Alan will take me to get food. Caleb will get me Starbucks. You fool around with me and Joey he just does whatever I ask" I say
"Ok lets pray then eat" Chad says
Fallon prays then we start eating. After dinner I head upstairs to my room. I lay down in bed and think about today. I start to slowly drift off to sleep.
