She was pushing ninety miles....
Copper hair flowing in the wind
with her arms spread out beside her...Though not a morning person I'd woken at dawn to avoid my dad and brothers. I'd call them well meaning, but they're restrictive as fuck. No girl wants to be on a leash. Especially not one who possess a Harley-Davidson Street Glide. I'm on the run temporarily, 'cause I'm feeling cagey. I'm also bored with my current direction in life. Although my dad and brothers would say that's my fault. According to them I willfully passed on the sports scholarship I earned. I just didn't wanna be a soccer player only to be forced to retire early to injury. Which my dad was okay with as long as I'd named what I wanted to do instead. But that wasn't in my case, to my dad's annoyance. Thankfully mom intervened and coaxed him to give me a gap year. So dad put me to work around our motorcycle club. Basically I became a glorified assistant to my dad's rank-holders. From Vice Prez, down the line to Tail Gunner. I attempted each job to the best of my ability and each one of my dad's rankers treated me nicely. Yet out of all the jobs, I enjoyed looking over the club's books. Mainly because it's a solo job. Unfortunately my year is drawing to a close, the upcoming shindig to be exact. I returned my hands to the handle bars as the road was tapering into a sharp curve. As I turned I felt the tension seeping out of me. As the winding, elevated road meant I wasn't far from Astoria Point. Technically every member of dad's club, the Death Riders, know of Astoria Point. It's special as only my mom and best friend know to find me there. I grin as I stop at the grassy cliff overlooking the mountainous valley. I strip my helmet and jacket to start climbing the boulders to my spot. Now hidden I rolled over a decent size boulder to reveal my diary. I haven't written an entry in a while and feel the need scratching at my brain.
MAY 5TH
I need to be free...
But the only way is to leave the DR MC club... Yet my dad and brother's would more likely brawl with a grizzly than let me go. Mom says I should wait till their trip after the shindig. I just don't like the idea of sneaking off like a fox stealing a chicken. However there's only one of me and four of the-."( ( ( VRMMM ) ) ) ( ( ( VRMMM ) ) )
The sound of a motorcycle fills my soul with dread. I quickly hide my diary and dust away any signs of movement. I sigh and clamber down the boulders hoping it's my mom, but know better. As I'm stepping down I glance in the direction of my motorcycle and trip. As the person is prez of the Crossroad Demons, Rigger Jones, or (Rush.)
"Look atcha falling for me," he snickered as he steadied me.
"Pfft, still seeing delusions after your recent wreck?" I teased as I extricated myself from his light hold.
"Nope, the doc said I'm fine, but it's sweet that you been thinkin' of me."
"As i- You're right, I have been thinking about you, Rush," I crooned as I stepped into his arms.
"What do ya fantasize about?" He leaned in as he intently studied my face.
"A...wedding."
"A wedding?" His Adam's apple bobbed as I smoothed a lock of his brown hair.
"Mhhmm."
"Tell me moree, Riddy," he groaned as if I were stroking him off.
"You're in your jeans, dress shirt, sleeves rolled up to your forearms. And over the shirt you're wearing your club's colors."
"Mmhmm," his eyes flutter closed.
"There's a flirty cocktail dress, with a plunging neckline and a slit to the thigh. On the curvy body with her brown hair down as you like," I whispered into his ear.
I pulled away from him and he groaned as if in pain. I fought the urge to grin at the dopey look on his face. I waited till his eyes opened and began running my hand through my hair. A motion that yanked him awake, causing him to rapidly blink. I flashed an innocent smile as he took notice of my hair.
"I love your red h-. Red? But you said brown..." His brows furrowed in confusion."Mmhhmm."
"You don't have brown hair, Riddy," I grinned as his lips curled.
"Duhhh. Cause I'm not EVER gonna marry you, Rush," I leaned into his hear and whispered.
"Wha-Wh-." He began but the "VRMM" of motorcycles cut him off.
I stared in the direction of the noise until the bikes appeared. Though dust was flying I quickly recognized the colors as my brother's. I panicked and jogged toward my bike, but my brother's boxed it in. I crossed my arms as I watched the three remove their helmets.
"Mom wouldn't have squawked, so who.. GINNY.... Why..WEST."
"Say bye to Jones, princess," my oldest brother, Weston scowled past me as he crossed his arms.
"I hope you kept your hands to yourself, Rush," Ryker added as he outright flashed his knife attached to his left boot.
"Of course. I have nothing, but respect for your sister," he sweetly spoke, though his hand twitched where his knife was.
"Good, cause we wouldn't want you to end up in the ER again. Especially with upcoming shindig an' all," Texon chimed in.
If one spoke they all spoke. Weird-ass triplet-like shit, if you asked me.
"I get the message. Be seeing you soon, Riddy," Rush grinned at me as he sauntered to his bike.
I faced my brothers and didn't dare move until Rush sped off the opposite way my brothers came. My brothers wordlessly put on their helmets on and I took that as my cue to move.
'What can I say the men in my family had trained me well.'
They put their helmets on before backing their bikes away from mine to wait for me. I rolled my eyes and dragged my feet to my bike. I pulled on my gear, mounted my bike and started the engine. I drove onto the road at a leisurely pace acceptable to my brothers. As I drove I glanced back and saw they were following me in three rows. It would seem I'm in trouble again for simply taking time to myself.

In the lot in front of the bar stood my parents, Ginny and her parents. In synce the four of us removed our helmets and unzipped our jackets. I got down and marched over to meet Ginny, who was walking towards me.
"Riddy, I'm so sorry. West ma..."
West shouted, 'RIDDY!'
