💄 VERITY 💄

"Will you zip me up, Ver?"

I dragged myself away from my pillows to dutifully zip Gin's blue sparkly dress. She looked gorg in the midi dress and matching heels, if I was into girls, I'd have stolen her from West.

"Thanks. Umm, you sure you don't wanna dress up?"

"I don't know what you mean, I'm wearing my nicest joggers, tank, and slippers. Why I even painted my fingers and toes to match," I dramatically gasped as I held my a hand and foot towards Gin.

"Your oddity has no bounds, but I'm glad you're here and not incarcerated," she hugged me from behind as I pretended to admire my reflection.

"I might as well be, for what I agreed to..."

THREE DAYS AGO....

"If you agree to be mine, I'll drop the charges, Riddy."

"I'd rather serve my sentence than ever be yours, Rush."

"I'm sure you would, but what about your brother, West?" Rush revealed a picture of West handing me the Rohypnol.

"H-how-."

"I'll give you twenty-four hours to decide.... I hope you choose to be mine, as I'd hate to see what prison would do to your beautiful body.... See ya soon, Riddy."

THE NEXT DAY....

I was sitting on the bench when there was noise outside the room. I looked up at the footsteps and saw West walk towards me.

"H-hey, what are you doing here? Did I-"

"Cut the shit, Marrie, I've seen the picture," he sighed as he placed his head against the bars.

"What ca-."

"Please tell me you haven't agreed to Jone's proposal. 'Cause I'd rather call prison home, over you agreeing to be his ol' lady."

"I haven't made one. I was honestly waiting for Jones to force a choice out of me."

"It's just like you, to decide last minute," he chuckled.

As I joined in the door opened and in walked Jone's.

"Sorry to interrupt the family reunion, but I need an answer," Jones leaned against the bars facing West.

West gave him a murderous glance before turning to me, "Don't, it's not worth it." West gave me a pleading look and exited the cellblock.

"So... What'll be, Riddy? Prison or happily ever after with yours truly?"

I'd weighed the repercussions for both decisions all night. I knew I couldn't face Gin with West and I locked up.
