Chapter 68: First Meeting with Ibara

Ahh ahhh. There goes my precious lunch break. Kazehaya-san said he wanted to talk to Tojo Kaname...I mean Himeru. Anyways they were going to talk alone so everyone was told to leave the warehouse dorm and now we have to stay outside. Even Shiro-senpai who just came back was confused but still did it anyways. It's not Kazehaya-san's fault but it's still a problem. Jun thought.

Here I was counting on Kazehaya-san's cooking for lunch and didn't prepare luncheon for myself. Well non-honored students can't leave Reimei's ground without permission and the management will get mad and say it's "an escape attempt" even if we just step out for a little bit. He added.

"But I'm so hungry...I'm going to make a run for the convenience store which is really far away though. Ugh why's Reimei Academy in such a remote place like an isolated island anyway? I wish we had a normal store. I don't know if the one on campus has some secret dealings with the suppliers. Everything is just so darn expensive without the honored student discount.

I really hate how the hierarchy works even on such a thing...Hm? Wait why is there smoke rising up? Jun thought as he looked up. "Woah what the hell is this?! A fire? Oh damn where's the fire extinguisher??!" Jun said panicking.

"Jun-kun calm down!" Ren said but he's slightly panicking also. "....Haaa how about you two calm the hell down and really look at what's happening?" Shiro said with a sigh. "Huh? Ah wait hold on? Hey aren't you Kaname-san? Why are you making a campfire here? We thought there was a fire and panicked you know?" Ren said relief is not serious.

The person seemed to bow in apology as Shiro says. "..Hm? You don't really need to bow and apologize to us. We're just nobodies, non-honored students and trashes." "...Huh? You're saying you're of an even lower status than us? What does that mean?" Ren asked confused when the person explained.

"But more importantly I see you've got a grill over the campfire and your grilling meat and vegetables! They look delicious! Can we join you and have some? We haven't eat anything after breakfast because some stuff happened. We were trying to figure out what to do but..." Jun said.

"Eh? You're fine with us joining in?" Ren asked as the person nodded. "Haha! Thank you very much! We'll dig in then! Nii-san let's eat!" Ren said. "...Hai hai. Sorry about this." Shiro said as the person shook his head in response. The three then sat down and started eating.

"Haha I thought you were a really good person from the first time we met, my senpai, even though your behavior is kind of weird." Jun said. "...Mou Jun-kun what did I say about talking to a Senpai like that?" Ren said with a pout.

"Ah by the way what are you doing usually? I don't see you around the warehouse or the non-honored student classroom so you must be an honoured student right?" He then asked. "...iiya don't just change the subject causally." Shiro said with a sigh.

"...Hm? You're not even categorized by that system? I have no idea what that means?" Jun said. "Ah sorry I must have made it sound like an interrogation. I shouldn't be rude to someone who's older than me." He then said. The person didn't mind and offered the three some meat.

"You're giving us? Thank you very much! I'll have it!" Ren said as he took it without complaints. Jun and Shiro did the same thing and ate as well. "Hmm so good! What kind of meat is this?" Ren asked. "...It's rude to talk while talking Ren." Shiro said.

"I don't want to hear it from you." Ren said with a pout. "Haha. Ah right. There's something else I want to ask you about. Do you know someone called Tojo Kaname? Is he your relative or something?" "Jun-kun?"

"I mean you two look quite similar. Like your appearance and even the same last name. I don't think it's just a coincidence." Jun said. Just then all of a sudden a car came swopping in almost hitting the four. "Woah?!" Jun said while Shiro immediately went in front of Ren.

"What now? Things just keep happening today!" Jun said shocked. "Ah my apologies! Are you four alright?!" A person with straight magenta hair with bangs that cross in the center of his face and wear specs said as he got out of the car.

"I'm very sorry! I didn't expect people to sit here and eat! I can't believe I almost ran you over. I'll make sure to lecture my driver later so please accept my sincere apologies!" He then said. "...I don't mind but...who are you? You're not from our school judging from your uniform." Shiro said.

"Ah I'm sorry for missing the self-introduction! Here is my business card!" The person said as he hands Jun the card. "...Let's see let's see. Umm Shuuetsu Academy First Grade, Honoured Student, Saegusa Ibara?" Ren said as he read out the card.

"Hai that's me!" The person known as Ibara said as he salutes. "That's amazing. I've heard Shuuetsu Academy is a school where all the students there are honored students. It's even filled with the 'best idols' selected from CosPro affiliated schools all over the country!" Ren said.

"Haha! I'm glad you know of your school and I'm happy to hear your compliments!" Ibara said. "Oh my apologies! I'm in a rush so I have to excuse myself! If you need anything please contact me at the number on my business card! With that said I apologize for the trouble and have a nice day!" He then said before leaving.

"....And off he goes." Ren said. "...Hmph he didn't even look at us before leaving. We must have mean nothing to him. How irritating." Jun said with a sigh. "Is this how you look at it?" Ren asked with a sweatdrop. "Hmph I don't get how that guy is superior than me in any way!" Jun said as he crossed his arms. Haaa are you a kid? Shiro thought with a sigh as he listened to the conversation.
