"Umm so in short this guy is no longer an honored student?" Jun asked. When the non-honored students came back Tatsumi explained everything to them so they have an idea on what's going on. Kaname just looked away with a 'hmph'.
"He caused some trouble during a filming session of a movie or a TV show and pissed off some powerful figures so he lost his privileges am I understanding this correctly?" Ren asked. Kaname didn't say anything since he can't deny it.
"...Reimei Academy seemed to comply with the requirements of those big shots and temporarily revoked Himeru's title of honoured student. He's super sad and super upset about it which was why he was throwing a tantrum earlier. Is that what happened Kazehaya-san?" Shiro said with a sigh.
"Hai. Although Himeru-san was reluctant to discuss the details I got a general sense of what happened based on informations I gathered by talking to other people. Nonetheless part of the information is controlled somehow so I don't know the specifics." Tatsumi said.
"What's clear is that Himeru-san temporarily lost the title of an honoured student because of some trouble he caused. Hence the reason why Himeru-san is here. He got expelled from the honoured students only dorm and had to live in this workhouse." He added.
"Wow. This is first time I've ever heard about the title of an honoured student getting revoked. What on earth did Himeru even do? Did he punch a big shot in the face or something?" Jun asked.
"Who knows? Even the teachers don't know about it let alone the students. Yet I was the one getting bombarded by questions like 'what exactly did Himeru do?' and such as if I know the answer. It was really troubling." Tatsumi said with a sigh.
"But still, from everyone's reactions Himeru-san probably violated some taboo within the industry." He added. "Taboo?" Ren asked. "Hai. In other words, something untouchable." Tatsumi explained.
"...Kazehaya-san you know it's really hard to understand what you're saying sometimes." Jun said with a sigh. "My apologies. I am trying my best to make it as easy to understand as possible. But if words can't get through they are just like any other noise." Tatsumi said.
"...Well I do get it to some extent. In short Himeru did something that 'shouldn't have been done' right?" Shiro asked. "It is just my suspicions but yes." Tatsumi said. "Hmm that makes me even more curious now. What on earth did he even do?" Ren said.
"Hey just tell me quietly what was the sore spot for those big shots?" Jun asked. "...iiya why do you even want to know that?" Shiro asked with a sigh. "Well I don't want to end up in the same situation so I wanted to ask him for help." Jun said. Yet Kaname still didn't say anything.
However eventually he did talk. "...Do not talk to me like we're friends. I do not want to get infected by the weakness of you non-honored students. I'm different from you losers." "Ah?! How so? We are both in this depth of hell living in the same workhouse eating the same lousy food while wearing the same jersey so tell me what's the damn difference?" Jun said.
"Ah so you don't like the food?" Tatsumi asked with a sad face. "Ah I was just trying to make a point! Kazehaya-san your cooking is wonderful! I didn't mean the food was bad at all! It's just the place makes me feel like we're eating prison meals!" Jun said trying his best to cover up.
"Haha. If this is a prison you'll be freed to live under the sun just like the honoured students as long as you endure hard labor." Tatsumi said. "...But reality isn't like that. The cliff here is so high and you can't even climb back up once you fall." Shiro said with a sigh.
"You shouldn't give up on your hope, Shiro-san. If you have faith and give it your best try one day your efforts will be rewarded. I honestly wish I could say so to comfort you but the system in Reimei Academy isn't set up that way. It's rare for someone like Himeru-san to lose the title of the honoured student."
"On the contrary I've never heard of anyone gaining the title after entering the program." Tatsumi said. "Haha! We, non honoured students, condemned to failure forever huh? We are always someone's slaves! How awesome it is to be at Reimei Academy!" Jun said while laughing.
"Well the real world is probably the same. Losers stay like losers from birth to death." He added. "What are you sulking for? Jun-san you're still young. Your future is full of hope." Tatsumi said.
"Tatsumi-senpai the same goes for you too no? But you sound like an old man sometimes. I mean I guess that's called 'being mature'. You're always do calm and reliable I can't believe you're just a year older than me." Ren said. "Am I? Perhaps it's because I had a lot of opportunities to interact with older people before." Tatsumi said.
"Ah that reminds me I have to head to Catacombe soon." He then said. "Again? You've been going there every night and don't return until morning." Jun said in concern. "Haha. I created it myself so I'm responsible for managing it properly. If you're interested feel free to come visit. Also please bring Himeru-san with you if it's possible." Tatsumi said.
"Huh? Why him?" Ren asked. "He was trying to strangle you when we came in here you know?" He added. "True. I would rather kick this dangerous guy out." Jun said. "That was just an accident really. Himeru-san just tripped and fell onto me right?" Tatsumi said.
Kaname didn't reply to support him though. "Even if you had violently attacked me with malice I would still forgive you. I do not mind it at all. And if it's possible I hope we can get along in the future." Tatsumi said. However Kaname just ignored him.
"Haha. Please excuse me now." Tatsumi said as he left to Catacombe. And there he goes. Not going to lie Kazehaya-san is so mysterious I still can't figure out what he's thinking. Same goes for Himeru. He's obviously ready to explode any second like he's carrying a damn bomb. I hope nothing weird would happen. Shiro thought with a sigh.
